I have neve thought the place was viable, there never seems to be many customers, the only people to buy coffee seem to be villagers. Most if not all the outdoor pursuit instructors, Ellis, Billy and Ben, seem to have gone now. For a so called shrewd businesswoman, Kim, now going back into business with Al, makes me wonder about her judgement.

I have never understood which is the Hide and which is the Hop. Please help !!!

I have always supposed that "The Hop" is "The Hawksford Outdoor Pursuit Centre" where people, that we never see, do things, we never see, like mountain, biking, kayaking, swinging about in trees and maybe badly organized boot camping. "The Hide" is the on site bistro/cafe where only villagers go to drink coffee and chat, if they don't want Brenda eavesdropping. Both are supposed to earn money for Kim, although I seriously doubt they do.

True - But still no people engaging in outdoor pursuits. No wonder Kim is so rich with all that coffee being drunk.

Couldn't agree more. All concerned with this storyline are excellent and April is one of the best actors in Emmerdale. They should get her to give acting lessons to some of the others particularly Al.

Not if it involved rope bridges, or instructors having nookie in a tent when they should be supervising.
