DS: Forum member Mrs Harman would like to know if you think there is much more mileage in Karl's and Susan's characters since their children have moved away?

AF: It's certainly a different experience for them both because it tends to open up the love lives more. What about Susan and Tom! Don't cut out the possibility of more children coming into their lives. Oh dear...that might have been a spoiler!

it's not an old interview he has said what about susan & tom so maybe tom comes back, he also says more children in their lives meaning susan & tom. i think thats what he was saying.

No i think he was saying that without children in their lives they have lost spark, so they looked for it elsewhere, like with Tom and Izzy.

Maybe when karl and susan get back together they will foster more children, and even have younger children this time!

because their character's are so much more interesting apart... plus Susan may still love Karl... but he left their marriage, moved in with Izzy, was having another baby which he didn't want with Susan and was so 'in love' with Izzy wanted to marry her... no matter how much she loves him how can she forgive what he's done?? could you??
