Could have gone to Bournemouth after all, but I've made my decision now so might aswell stick to it.

thanks Trinity but I actually dont feel like I deserve those grades
I really didnt apply myself at all in A2, I never did homework or independant studies and I never revised for my exams.
In a way I'd rather have done bad, so as I taught myself a lesson, but as it is I never worked hard and got fab grades, which isn't good, as I'm gonna think I can get away with being lazy in future.
Very well done!! Just a quick question, if you don't mind, what is Critical Thinking? I have never heard of that one but sounds very interesting!

Well done Bry!! Fab results, even if you did spend most of your revision time talking to us on msn
Make sure you apply yourself in Uni and you'll be find (although I can understand what you mean about wanting worse grades kinda thing).
Still, be proud of yourself, and see you're gradually getting closer to me - I can feel a Debs/Bry/Em meet up coming up

It is general studies for the clever people. Basically if you got really high GCSE grades they make you do this subject. It's enforced on you, whether you want to do it or not.
It is boring (there is no subject matter) and pointless (unis dont accept it as a subject). Plus it is very very very hard to get an exceptable grade in it (only about 25% of students get C or above). I love the logic "let's take all our clever kids and rather than letting them get an A in General studies, let them fail Critical Thinking"
It's mainly about constructing/analysing arguments. I thought I'd fail it, so to get a C is a complete suprise and probably my biggest achievement.
