ctress Rebecca Gayheart and spouse Eric Dane have announced that they are expecting their first child.

Gayheart, known for her work in Noxema commercials and Showtime's Dead Like Me, told In Touch Weekly that she and Dane have always wanted to be parents.

"I think Eric is going to be a wonderful dad, and hopefully I'll be a good mom. We're absolutely looking forward to it!" she said.

The 38-year-old and Grey's Anatomy star Dane were recently involved in a lawsuit with Gawker, stemming from a leaked tape that featured the couple in an intimate encounter with former beauty queen Kari Ann.

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have created their own jewellery line, according to Women's Wear Daily.

The Hollywood couple have reportedly designed a limited edition gold and silver capsule collection called The Protector for Asprey.

The line reportedly features silver baby gifts, as well as pendants and rings with a curving snake motif. Top-end items include diamond, black diamond and emerald rings, bracelets, earrings and men's cuff links.

All net proceeds will go to Jolie's organisation Education Partnership for Children of Conflict, which helps to educate and raise awareness for children who are the victims of war, conflict and natural disasters.

"These are the children who most need a safe place to learn, a place to heal, a place to learn reconciliation, a place to build a better future and a place - to just be children," explained Jolie.

"Yet the education for these children is often forgotten. Tens of millions of children and adolescents in conflict are not in school."

The line will go on sale at Asprey stores in London, New York, Dubai, Tokyo and Beverly Hills later this week. Prices start at $525.

Johnny Depp has been named the 'Sexiest Man Alive' for the second time by People magazine.

The Pirates Of The Caribbean star topped the annual list, beating last year's winner Hugh Jackman.

Speaking on CBS's Early Show, senior editor Kate Coyne said he had achieved an almost "iconic status in terms of sexiness".

She added: "Johnny Depp was someone who was sexy ten years ago. He'll be sexy ten years from now. He's someone who appeals to multiple generations of women."

Depp, 46, was first awarded the title in 2003.

Cerys Matthews has given birth to a boy eight weeks earlier than expected, she announced today.

The 40-year-old former Catatonia star and her newborn son are both "doing very well".

News of the premature birth was revealed through the singer-songwriter's official website.

A "message from Cerys" goes on to say: "How happy I am to let youknow that our baby boy was born on Monday 23rd, eight weeks earlier than expected.

"We are doing very well and excited now to share this happy news with you."

She adds: "What an amazing surprise, just after presenting Children In Need on Friday! Love always, Cerys and Steve."

The baby boy, who has not yet been named, is the first child for the singer and her partner and manager Steve Abbott.

She already has two children, a boy and a girl, with her former husband Seth Riddle, an American music producer.

The Welsh-born singer's website also carries pictures of her co-presenting Children In Need at the Wales Millennium Centre inCardiff on Friday.

Heidi Klum's father has revealed that Seal wants to adopt her 5-year-old daughter Leni before Christmas.

The 'Kiss From A Rose' singer, who has three other children with Klum, apparently wants to formally become the father of her daughter from her relationship with Formula One boss Flavio Briatore.

Guenther Klum is quoted by MSN as saying: "Heidi, Seal and the kids have always been a happy family - in everyday life and in their hearts. Then they should also be happy on paper."

Seal and the German model got together when she was still pregnant with Leni. He has previously said: "Leni is my daughter".

FRAUDSTERS nicked £200,000 from Ricky Gervais - using a photo of his Office character DAVID BRENT on a fake passport.
The comic has revealed how he was caught up in the sting in which a gang insider transferred cash from his bank account to buy gold bullion.

But the bungling crooks were nabbed after turning up to collect the stash with the "David Brent" ID cut from a DVD cover. Ricky, 48, was informed of the scam in a phone call from his bank - which needed his permission to involve cops.

After the gang were arrested collecting the gold, an officer reported back to Ricky.

Ricky recalled: "I said, 'How did they think they were going to get away with it?


He said, 'They normally get a passport from either a dead man or steal one and replace it with your details and your picture.'

"The CID man started smirking, so I went, 'What?' and he showed me this passport.

"We were laughing for ten minutes. All they did was cut out the picture on the first series of The Office DVD!

"So it's a picture of David Brent sitting at a desk with that little smug look on his face!"

It is the first time the Extras star has revealed details of the scam, which took place several years ago. Ricky, who got his money back, didn't appear in court to see the fraudsters jailed.

Ricky joked: "Can you imagine who was in charge of getting the photo?

"'Dave, you're doing so and so. Julie you're on the inside. Bertie - can you get a picture?

"What are you going to HMV for?'"

Richard Gere has been told that he faces a fine of up to $50,000 for cutting down some trees.

The Pretty Woman star, who lives in Pound Ridge near New York with his actress wife Carey Lowell, apparently failed to seek the appropriate permission before having 200 trees removed from his estate.

His neighbour is quoted by the New York Post as saying: "This is a town where money isn't an issue. What matters are good manners and caring about the community. People have been supportive of him, but I'm not sure what he was thinking."

Another local said: "The feeling is that he acted a bit precipitously in clearing the trees. People are somewhat disappointed that he didn't follow procedure."

They added: "Rather than seeking the proper channels and permits, he hired someone to cut them down. He's generally a good neighbour. It was out of character."

Gere is reportedly now in negotiations with town officials to replant some of the trees and pay fines for those that he cut down.
