We've become well acquainted with the lovely Liam Connor, but his brother Paul remains a bit of a mystery.

So you'll be glad to hear that we're going to get a much better insight into the world of the factory fat cat over the next few months – not least when we meet his glam wife Carla.

It seems that while Paul is well-versed in pulling a fast one in business, he gets away with very little at home.

And almost immediately after Carla stuns us with her WAG image and feisty attitude, we'll see that behind the polished exterior is a shrewd businesswoman with a host of good ideas.

The problem is that Paul doesn't seem all that keen to help his missus get a footing in the industry – even though he could help her out.

So prepare for a battle of wills as husband and wife cross swords – and we find out exactly who it is who wears the trousers in their household.

Talking of wives, Bev Unwin is still very bitter that she never got the chance to be Fred's.

So as the Peacock family try to decide the best way to say farewell to the beloved butcher, Bev is going to want to have her say.

The problem is that Ashley feels that Bev hasn't got as much right as he has to get a say about where Fred should be laid to rest – causing more upset between the two.

And it doesn't help that Bev has seriously outstayed her welcome at the Peacock homestead as well.

To Claire's absolute fury, the broken-hearted barmaid just won't take the hint that the family need to move on without her.

And it doesn't matter how many comments she and Ashley make, Bev just isn't getting the message.

Can the put-upon pair finally convince their unwelcome guest to move on with her life?

Finally, Bev isn't going to be the only one to discover the truth hurts.

Poor Violet hasn't been feeling all that well recently and there's a very good reason – she's with child!

It's to her credit that Violet actually managed to get Jamie in the sack at all since he barely paid any attention to her in the dying days of their relationship.

But as the young mum-to-be announces her big news to her shocked ex, he's going to deliver an even bigger bombshell – by letting Violet into his little Frankie-shaped secret.

Why Jamie thinks that the woman who loved him wants to hear about his devotion for another dame is anyone's guess.

But it turns out that Violet is more than a little unhappy at the notion of her onetime lover's involvement with his step mum.

Will sparks fly? You'd better believe it!

Really looking forward to seeing a lot more of the lovely Paul Connor and finding out more about this man of mystery and of course the appearance of his wife Carla. I think that these two are going to be a couple of very good characters who will help greatly to fill some of the gaps which are going to be left in the street due to departures.

Poor Violet, hopefully we will see a more feisty side to her character as she is too nice,maybe this storyline is going to lead to Frankie's departure.

Bev..hellllllllpppppp!! Sooner she goes the better.
