I doubt it because tom heard her on the phone talking to 'daddy' and at the wedding she said she hasnt spoken to him for years after what he done to her

I agree, i have only started watching Hollyoaks, but Claire really is quite evil. Making up a lie so serious as that, it really is horrible! She is definetly taking Max for a mug, i love her character.
