EASTENDERS’ bride Pauline Fowler is about to get bovvered ... by Catherine Tate Show star Niky Wardley.

Niky is to play Joe Macer’s daughter Megan — but she is best known as the pal of Chav princess Lauren in the BBC comedy.

And just like her previous character, Megan is a troublemaker.

She arrives in Walford for her dad’s wedding to Pauline, but soon proves to be a thorn in the bride’s side.

Joe (Ray Brooks) gets misery Pauline to crack a smile after proposing.

But their joy is shortlived. A show insider said: “Tensions are strained when Megan turns up a day earlier than expected to get to know Pauline before the wedding.

“She makes it no secret that she thinks that Joe is betraying the memory of her mum by marrying Pauline.

“She then offends Pauline by suggesting that their engagement hasn’t been very long.

“Pauline is already worried if she is doing the right thing.”

Things go from bad to worse when Pauline has cold feet on her wedding day. It is left to Megan to apologise and once reassured, Pauline heads to the register office.

Sounds like we have some interesting viewing ahead of us, Joes daughter sounds like alot of people I know in real life, insisting the father or the mother is not being faithful to the dead parent. Can't you almost see how these scenes go??

It said in the whats on TV mag that she wants to keep fowler to honour Arthurs memory. Bless her.
