Help me Please!!!!!!

I have Paint Shop Pro 9.01 on a free trial thing for 59 days (was 60)
The thing is i don't no how to use it at all, and i really wasnt to make some bannas!!
So please can someone help me and explain how to use it and make bannas!

Get the pics you wanna use and resize them, fiddle with the colours do whatever!
Then pick a font to use if you want to put writing on.

Ok..Here goes
copy the pics (find EE ones on the BBC site, google image search ect)
paste them into PSP
Do what you want with them.

If that hasn't helped I am sorry! I know i'm no good at explaining
