Chrissie walked back into the bedroom after having a shower. She sat down on the bed and ran her fingers through her wet curls. She went over and opened the doors of the wardrobe. She held her towel in place with one hand and with the other she pulled out dresses she thought she could wear. She didn't feel like any of them were right. She noticed something new. It was a black dress. She pulled it out. A note was attached to the sleeve. It said, 'Jake xx'. She smiled.

Jake knocked on the bedroom door. He walked in to see Chrissie sitting infront of the dressing table, adding the finishing touches to her makeup. She smiled as he saw his reflection in the mirror. He leant casually against the doorframe.
Jake: Are you ready yet?
Chrissie: Almost.
She sprayed some perfume on her neck and massaged it into her skin. Stood up and turned around to face Jake.
Chrissie: Well? What do you think?
He grinned.
Jake: You look gorgeous.
She smiled and walked over to him.
Chrissie: Thankyou for the dress.
Jake: It's alright.
He kissed her gently on the lips, slipping his arms around her neck.
Jake: Let's go.
Chrissie: Yeah.
He held her hand as they walked out.

Chrissie placed her knive and fork on her plate, after finishing her meal.
Chrissie: I've been thinking.
Jake: About what?
She took his hands in hers.
Chrissie: I want you to move in with me.
Jake: Really?
Chrissie: Yes. I need to move on. We are going to have a baby and it just feels so right.
Jake: Yeah, it does. But don't you think we're moving to quickly?
Chrissie: Is that a no then?
Jake: Of course not! If you want me to move in I will.
Chrissie: But is it what you want?
Jake: Chrissie, I want this so much. I want to be with you. I want to wake up in the morning with you. I really do want to move in with you.
Chrissie: Are you sure?
Jake: I've never been more sure about anything in my life.
He kissed her knuckles softly. She smiled lovingly.

Chrissie lay in bed with her head on Jake's bare chest. He stroked her soft curls.
Jake: This time tomorrow I will have moved in.
Chrissie: Yeah. I can't wait.
Jake: Neither can I.
Chrissie: And soon it'll just be me, you and the baby.
He slid his hands down the silky material that covered her skin and onto her slightly, swollen stomach.
Jake: Yeah. We'll be a family.
She closed her eyes and smiled. A family, she thought to herself as she fell into a deep sleep.
