Brookside veteran Claire Harman is to make an appearance in Coronation Street.
She will play Farrah, the landlady and part-time lover of hunky mechanic Nathan (Ray Fearon).
Claire played Tanya in the Brookside special Unfinished Business two years ago. She's also appeared in Last Orders, About A Boy and Sky One drama Is Harry on the Boat?
Her latest character is just one of many love interests for Nathan.
When Farrah spots him flirting with Tracy (Kate Ford) on Sunday, September 4, his ego gets a severe battering as the newcomer dumps a load of his belongings on the cobbles.
Miss Barlow is stunned by the outburst and is also far from keen on the fact she's been sharing him with another woman. Inevitably, she drops him like a hot potato.
Nathan will also incur the wrath of Sally Webster (Sally Whittaker) by spending a night on her sofa.
Although Sally's not happy with the idea of putting Nathan up for another night, he manages to charm his way into the Webster home once more.
Alas, it causes a few problems when eldest daughter Rosie (Helen Flanagan) walks in on the house guest while he's getting dressed.
The rest of the family think her embarrassment is hilarious, but it's not long before the teenage goth has a crush on her dad's employee - a fact which also leaves Sally seeing red.
