Elsewhere, Sarah opens up to Kit about her history with Todd.

At the hospital, the doctor tells Lauren that Frankie’s doing well and it won’t be long before he can be discharged. When a nurse approaches with a parcel for Frankie, Lauren clocks the prison stamp and is left shaken. She decides to visit her Dad in prison but how will it go?

    Exclamation Corrie Spoilers 21st - 25th April 2025

    https://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/cor...tsy-van-crash/

Coronation Street's Lauren Bolton fears she could be heading back to prison next week as she's involved in a chaotic crash incident on the road.

Lauren makes the mistake of driving without a licence as she risks everything to protect Betsy Swain. Could this prove devastating for her future with baby Frankie?

The latest drama in Weatherfield unfolds as Betsy continues to struggle after being caught in the crossfire of the siege at Ken Barlow's house.

Still coming to terms with the news that she could have a life-changing injury after being shot, Betsy looks for someone to blame. Her main target? No-nonsense Tracy McDonald?

"When Betsy sees Tracy at the caf?, she rants at her for endangering her life," our Corrie source reveals.

"As far as Betsy's concerned, dangerous Rob Donovan wouldn't have been wielding a gun at No.1 in the first place if Tracy hadn't decided to harbour him there.

"True to form, Tracy gives as good as she gets ? but her scathing reaction to Betsy risks making matters much worse?"

Furious over Tracy's lack of remorse, Betsy decides to take revenge by destroying the contents of the florist van.

Lauren catches Betsy in the act and they both spot Tracy approaching. In a panic, Lauren decides to speed off with Betsy in the van ? but her erratic driving quickly leads to disaster.

"Lauren crashes the van and it's left smashed-up at the precinct," our insider adds.

"Shaken up, Lauren decides this is a good time to mention to Betsy that she never passed her driving test and shouldn't have been behind the wheel in the first place!

"When the girls spot a police car pulling up nearby, it's panic stations for both of them. It's gone far beyond a silly prank ? they could be facing serious charges here."

Corrie fans know that the last thing Lauren needs is any trouble with the police, so soon after the Joel Deering case.

As Lauren kicks herself for acting so rashly, can she and Betsy talk their way out of trouble?

Coronation Street airs these scenes on Friday, April 25 on ITV1 and ITVX.

Coronation Street's Lauren Bolton gets a blast from the past next week as she comes face-to-face with her criminal dad Reece again.

Scott Anson is reprising his role as Reece for more prison-based scenes, as the sly character reaches out to his vulnerable daughter.

Reece's reappearance comes as Lauren seems to be reaching a crossroads in her life.

There's great news for Lauren at the hospital when a doctor confirms that her baby son Frankie is doing well following his bone marrow transplant and can be discharged soon.

Just as Lauren looks to the future, she's haunted by the past as an unexpected delivery arrives.

"Lauren receives a parcel for Frankie and is shocked when she spots a stamp revealing that it's come from the prison," our Corrie source reveals.

"There are no prizes for guessing who the sender is ? but why is Reece getting in touch now?"

Later, Lauren visits Reece in prison and it's tense as they catch up.

Lauren is sure to want answers over the gift for Frankie, but the big question is whether Reece will be able to talk her round.

"Lauren's in a lonelier place on the cobbles now that Max ? her main source of support ? has left," our insider adds.

"Perhaps Reece reckons this will leave her open to be manipulated again, but she can still rely on friends and supporters like Roy and Dee-Dee. Here's hoping she can find the strength to stand up to Reece again and move on with her life."

Reece was introduced to Corrie in late 2022 as part of the far-right gang led by evil Griff Reynolds. He was imprisoned in early 2023 following his role in planting a bomb at Weatherfield's winter market.

Since then, Reece has returned for further brief appearances in July 2023 and March 2024 for storylines involving Lauren.

Scott announced his return to filming in January and Digital Spy confirmed at the time that he'd only be back for one episode.

Coronation Street airs these scenes on Wednesday, April 23 on ITV1 and ITVX.

Coronation Street's Daniel Osbourne is left with a huge decision to make next week after Daisy Midgeley floats the idea of them making a fresh start together away from Weatherfield.

With her windfall from Jenny Connor pending thanks to her catfishing scam, Daisy lies to Daniel that her aunt has gifted her enough money to start a new life elsewhere. But as she begs him to move away with her, will Daniel throw caution to the wind?

"The way Daisy sees it, the only things keeping her in Weatherfield right now are Daniel and Bertie," explains our Corrie source.

"She's well and truly done with Jenny, and she has no interest in buying back into The Rovers. Daisy thinks if she can persuade Daniel to take the plunge and move away with her, they could have a much happier future away from all the bad memories of the past couple of years."

With their catfishing scam in full swing, Daisy and Christina Boyd decide it's time to step things up. Daisy is shocked when Jenny's fake online suitor, Dom, arrives at The Rovers to take her out.

Turns out sneaky Christina has roped in some bloke to pose as 'Dom', and Jenny is soon smitten by her new love interest. So much so that when Dom announces that he's about to sell his business, and anyone who invests in the next couple of days is guaranteed to double their money, Jenny's eyes light up?

Before long, Jenny takes the bait and tells Dom she wants to invest in his company, leaving Daisy and Christina delighted.

"Neither of them can quite believe how gullible Jenny's being," our Corrie insider adds.

"She barely knows this guy, yet she's already agreeing to hand over a huge wad of cash to him. From Daisy's point of view, their scam couldn't be going any better ? she didn't think it would be this easy."

With the money in the bag, Daisy suggests to Daniel that they move away. She knows it's a lot to ask, as Daniel still has roots on the Street, but she hopes his love for her will be strong enough for him to agree.

Meanwhile, when Dom enters the bar the following morning, both Daisy and Christina are shocked to realise he stayed the night. Later, Jenny admits that they just spent the night talking, before revealing that she's really fallen for him.

However, Daisy's ruse is in danger of being rumbled after she and Daniel head to the Chariot Square for a couple's massage, only to find Christina and Dom together in the bar. Is the jig up?

"Christina flirting with Jenny's new man behind her back is bound to raise an eyebrow from Daniel," our source reveals.

"The last thing Daisy needs is for Daniel to find out what she's really up to ? she could kiss goodbye to any hope of him agreeing to leave the cobbles with her?"

Coronation Street newcomer Danielle Silverton realises her husband Theo is playing away next week ? and accuses Sarah Barlow of sleeping with him.

Having discovered that Todd Grimshaw and Sarah aren't together after all, Danielle puts two and two together, and assumes Sarah is after her man. But is she about to find out just how far off the mark she is when she walks in on Theo sharing a moment with Todd?

ITV's new "messy" Manchester-set drama to know about: A "rollercoaster story" from boss of Fool Me Once
"When Danielle discovers that Todd is gay, she jumps to the conclusion that it's Sarah having a bunk-up with Theo," our Corrie source explains.

"Danielle tears a strip off Sarah, who is caught in an awkward situation as she doesn't want to expose Todd. But her efforts might be in vain when Danielle later catches Theo and Todd together?"

The problems unfold after a sneaky lie from Todd and Theo. After discovering that Theo was married with kids, Todd ends up roping Sarah into his secret romance when she pretends to be his girlfriend to put Danielle off the scent. However, Todd starts to rather enjoy the ruse, planting a kiss on Sarah to wind up Theo.

His actions only make things more complicated for all concerned, though. So when Danielle spots Sarah flirting with Kit Green, she's outraged to think Sarah's cheating on poor Todd, leaving George bemused?

"George quickly puts her straight on Todd being not straight," our insider adds.

"Danielle is thrown by this revelation, and when she spots Sarah having a quiet discussion with Theo, she decides Sarah must be at it with more than one man ? including her husband.

"When she sees Todd and Sarah later, she rails at them over their sham relationship and accuses Sarah of having it away with Theo. The whole thing is one big mess."

It's clear the situation has put a bomb under Danielle and Theo's marriage, and he angrily accuses Todd of ruining his relationship. But as Danielle and Sarah clash again, she tells the angry wife that she should be looking to Todd for answers.

Meanwhile, Theo is at the factory ending things with Todd, telling him that it would be better for all concerned if they stay out of each other's way from now on. However, little do they know that Danielle is on her way to find them?

"Theo's insisting things are over, yet it's clear there's a real connection between him and Todd," our source teases.

"So will Theo have the strength to follow through with his promise? Let's just say Danielle could be in for a huge shock?"

Coronation Street's Eileen Grimshaw questions her relationship with George Shuttleworth next week, after he stands in the way of Julie Carp and Brian Packham's budding romance.

Eileen is less than impressed with George after he warns love-struck Brian to take it slow and hold off on sharing his feelings with Julie.

"This could be Julie's last shot at happiness, and she wants to make as many good memories as possible before her terminal cancer takes her life," our Corrie insider explains.

"It's only natural that Eileen would be upset with George for jeopardising that. These are feelings that Brian has pushed aside for years, and he truly wants to be by Julie's side until the end. It's not George's place to rob Julie of that."

After the mini-bus breaks down and the group trip to the Lakes is cancelled, Eileen orders remorseful George to sleep on the sofa. She later confides to Julie that she's in two minds about her relationship and isn't sure that George is the one.

"Eileen shouldn't have to settle for second best, and her sister tells her as much," our source adds.

"Julie says that she should be with someone who makes her heart soar ? whether that's George or not. The couple have been solid for years, but a few cracks seem to be showing now."

It's no secret that soap star Sue Cleaver, who plays Eileen, will be bidding farewell to Corrie in scenes airing later this year. Sue recently confirmed that she'd already filmed her final scenes as the soap favourite.

Tony Maudsley, who plays George, has already confirmed his future beyond that by announcing that he'd signed a new contract.

Does this mean that a bitter end is on the cards for the beloved cobbles couple?

Coronation Street airs these scenes on Friday, April 25 on ITV1 and ITVX.

Coronation Street's Dylan Wilson finally stands up to bully Brody next week, as the young villain makes homophobic comments about Sean Tully.

After enduring weeks of torment and blackmailing in the Secure Training Centre at the hands of the bad boy, Dylan is pushed over the edge when Brody makes some offensive digs about his dad.

The tormented teen loses his rag and furiously punches Brody, knocking him to the floor before kicking him in an uncharacteristic rage.

"Despite his good nature and the fact that he'd hoped to keep his head down in the STC, Dylan has been singled out by Brody, who is making his life hell.

"Dylan's outburst is overdue ? and quite understandable."

Meanwhile on the street, newcomer Mick Michaelis threatens frightened Sean, forcefully explaining that if he causes Brody any more problems, there'll be hell to pay.

Yet Sean's troubles only get worse when he overhears Gemma Winter-Brown arranging dinner plans with Mick's wife Lou.

"Sean's feeling really lonely and worried about his son, and Gemma's supposed to be his mate, so of course he's absolutely furious," reveals our source.

"He lays down the law and accuses Gemma of siding with the enemy, and she couldn't feel worse about what she's done."

With Sean unable to help his son any further, how will Brody make Dylan pay for his actions? And could the attack mean the unlucky youngster will be forced to endure an extended stint behind bars?

Dylan was sentenced to six months in the STC in February as punishment for his role in Mason Radcliffe's fatal stabbing.

The troubled teen had bought the knife that was used against Mason by his brothers in a terrifying showdown at the precinct. Dylan's sentence was reduced from nine months to reflect his guilty plea.

    https://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/cor...ee-baby-drama/

Coronation Street's Debbie Webster and Dee-Dee Bailey are set to face some tense baby drama in upcoming scenes.

Viewers will know that Debbie is currently being tested for young onset dementia, but her brother Carl is the only one who knows about it.

In the coming weeks Debbie is set to receive a formal diagnosis, paving the way for a long-running storyline that will lead to Debbie's exit from the soap.

Meanwhile, Dee-Dee recently gave birth to a baby daughter who she was planning to give away to her brother James and his partner Danny.

James is currently away in the US after Danny was involved in a road accident and the Bailey family are currently helping to take care of baby Laila, including Debbie, who is engaged to Dee-Dee's uncle Ronnie.

In scenes that air on Friday, 25 April, Debbie is looking after baby Laila for the day. When Debbie discovers Laila has a temperature, she tells Roy she's going to take the baby to the doctors.

A concerned Dee-Dee insists she'll go with them and at the hospital they run tests and attempt to get Laila's temperature to come down.

When Debbie notices that the formula milk she gave her is for 3-6 month olds, Debbie believes it's her fault that the baby is sick.

Will Debbie be honest with everyone about what really happened?

Speaking recently about Debbie's dementia storyline for the first time, Devaney denied claims that she was "furious" over her exit plot.

"Some papers claimed that I was furious about the story, which was completely untrue. The only reason I was concerned about the storyline was because I wanted to be sure I could do it justice," she said.

"It is an honour and privilege to be given this sort of storyline."
