Jack’s thrilled whilst Abi’s pleased to see him back on an even keel.

He’s delighted when Fiz explains that Alina’s house has been flooded and she’s agreed they’ll look after Dorin in the meantime.

Elsewhere, Tim returns home and announces to Sally that much as loves their life together, he reckons they could benefit from a new challenge and he’s had an idea.

Ed admits that he’s out of his comfort zone and that Laila deserves better.

Coronation Street brings back Tyrone Dobbs' young son Dorin next week.
Tyrone gets a surprise when his wife Fiz and ex-lover Alina Pop make plans for Dorin to stay in Weatherfield for a few weeks.
When Tyrone returns home one afternoon, he's shocked to find Dorin there without any prior warning.
Fiz reveals that Alina's house has been flooded, leaving her with lots of practical matters to sort out.
As Alina needs support, Fiz has arranged for her and Tyrone to look after Dorin in the meantime.
Tyrone is delighted by the news, and is determined to make the most of this unexpected family reunion.
Young actor Henry Meller, who played Dorin for a short stint last year, is reprising his role for this storyline.
Dorin's previous scenes aired last August and September, as Tyrone was stunned to discover that he had a son he never knew existed.
Alina was pregnant with Dorin when she left Weatherfield in 2021.
Speaking about the storyline last year, Alan Halsall ? who plays Tyrone ? told us: "I can only imagine for Tyrone that's a whole whirlwind of emotions there ? not knowing about it, why has he missed that time? It'll bring up a lot of emotions for him because his own childhood was so poor and now we've seen Cassie and that's all just come back to light.
"Obviously knowing there's nothing he can do [about the past], he wants to make a point from now to be the best person he can be in that child's life."
At the time, Alan added that Tyrone wouldn't feel tempted by Alina again.
He said: "[Fiz has] nothing to worry about! I think Tyrone did learn his lessons and we saw that clearly when they got back together and they finally got married after breaking up so many times.
"There's been plenty of occasions where Ty and Fiz have not been together but that's bubbled on for 20 years."
Coronation Street airs Dorin's return on Wednesday, April 9 on ITV1 and ITVX.

    Friday 11 April 2025 at 20:00 on ITV1

Abi heads to Freshco to get some anti-sickness meds for Kevin. In the car park, a handsome man called Carl tries to steal Abi's parking space, causing her to prang her car. Abi loses her temper, shouting that her husband is suffering from cancer. She lashes out, giving Carl a bloodied nose.

Mortified, she apologises and he shrugs it off and heads back to his car. After it fails to start, Abi offers to fix it. When he tells her she is funny and gorgeous and asks her out for a drink, what will she say?

Back at The Rovers, Abi regales Kevin, Debbie and Ronnie with the car park story, minus the attraction between her and the driver. But as she comes back from the ladies', she is shocked to find Carl chatting to the others and realises he is Kevin and Debbie's brother. As he listens to Kevin repeating Abi's story, will he come clean about being the man she met?

Debbie makes a furtive call and arranges an appointment at the memory service clinic.

Meanwhile, when Hope hears Sally and Tim talking about fostering and not wanting to look after a child like Hope, she plots her revenge. Cassie packs Hope and Ruby off to the cinema so she can spend the afternoon with Steve.

In the garden at No.4, Tim and Sally discuss their fostering plans when suddenly a balloon full of water comes flying over the fence. A furious Sally turns to see Hope and Ruby filming the incident.

Hope and Ruby return home to find Cassie and Steve in a state of undress. Hope suggests to Cassie that they should both keep quiet about what they've each been up to. What will they do?

Despite Sally's reservations about the fostering idea Tim secretly books himself in for a fostering information session.

Elsewhere, in the hotel bar, Debbie reads a text from Abi which leaves her confused. When Ronnie calls in with her lunch box and points out she forgot it, Debbie masks her turmoil. In the caf?, Tim admits to Ronnie that he let slip to Debbie about his plan to propose to her. Ronnie calls at the hotel and, pulling out an engagement ring, gets down on one knee.

Also today, in the Rovers, Carla breaks the news to Jenny that she needs to pay Lisa back and she's decided to sell the pub. Jenny's shocked.

Later, Jenny receives a parcel. She is delighted to discover it's a bottle of champagne from Dominic's very own vineyard. Christina watches, a sly grin on her face. Jenny begs Carla to give her first refusal on buying the pub. Daisy watches, intrigued.

Finally, Todd suggests to Julie they should set up a crowdfunding page to send her on the holiday of her dreams before it's too late, Kit flirts with Sarah who tries her best to play hard to get, and Theo begs an affronted Todd not to cause a scene at his mother-in-law's funeral.

Coronation Street's Todd Grimshaw tries to hide his secret romance with Theo Silverton this week ? and pressures Sarah Platt to pose as his girlfriend.

While he hopes it puts Theo's oblivious wife off the scent, it also jeopardises Sarah's blossoming romance with Kit Green. Is it over already with the cute cop?

"Theo initially seemed like Todd's perfect man," explains our Corrie insider. "He's handsome, funny ? but it turns out he's also married to a woman. That's not his only secret, as Todd is about to discover? And once Sarah gets drawn into the tangled web of deceit, the situation becomes even stickier."

Reeling from the revelation that Theo has been with wife Danielle for almost 20 years, Todd encounters another surprise when the couple make a return visit to the undertakers to discuss a family bereavement.

With Danielle and Theo are their teenage son and daughter ? who Todd had no idea existed. Theo being married and in the closet was one thing, but having children makes things a whole lot more complicated.

Theo is desperate to explain himself and later tries to get Todd on his own, cramping Sarah's style in the process?

"As he's been caring for poor Julie, Todd is completely shattered," explains our source. "Sarah's given him keys to her flat in case he needs some time to himself, but when Todd takes her up on the offer, he interrupts Sarah cosying up to Kit.

"Theo then arrives hot on Todd's heels wanting to talk, and Sarah has to vacate her own flat to allow the boys some space."

Theo is put on the spot as to why he never mentioned he was a dad, and why he's been toying with Todd's affections. Todd accepts that Theo is unable to properly commit to anything, but that doesn't stop the strong attraction between the pair.

There's a near-miss later in the week when Danielle almost catches her husband and Todd in the act. Begged by Todd to help him, Sarah intervenes, only to give Danielle the impression that Todd and Sarah are a couple.

"Sarah's meeting Kit for a date at the Bistro, but when Danielle spies her having a pre-drink with Todd, he continues the ruse that Sarah is his girlfriend," our insider adds.

"Todd impulsively kisses Sarah on the lips to make their fake romance believable, witnessed by a confused Kit."

Can Sarah convince Kit that she's not cheating on him with her gay ex? And where do Theo and Todd go from here?
