Emmerdale's Ella Forster makes some explosive accusations next week as her time in the village nears its end.

Ella lashes out as she faces suspicion over Chas Dingle's mysterious collapse at The Woolpack.

This week's episodes see Chas fall to the ground and hit her head at the pub, creating suspicion and fear over why this happened.

When it's later revealed that Chas had drugs in her system, Ella is accused of spiking her in a nasty act of revenge.

Suspicion falls on Ella as she has struggled to see Liam Cavanagh moving on with Chas following their own split.

Ella also clashes with her love rival during Chas and Liam's surprise engagement party at The Woolpack, just hours before the spiking incident.

In follow-on scenes next week, Ella comes under pressure to leave the village but she insists on sticking around to prove her innocence.

Desperate for someone to believe her, Ella comes up with a theory that Chas framed her to drive her out of the village.

Ella tells Liam that Chas could have an addiction to painkillers. Liam takes this on board and Chas is furious to find him checking through her cupboard to find out if it's true.

When Chas questions why Liam is invading her privacy like this, he comes clean over Ella's accusations. Chas storms off to confront Ella, who stubbornly refuses to back down from her wild claims.

Ella's mud-slinging quickly starts to backfire on her, as Liam loses patience over the way that she's handling the tense situation. He becomes convinced that she just wants to sabotage his happiness with Chas, so stops listening to her.

The next day, Ella is devastated when her friend and colleague Manpreet Sharma ? one of her last remaining allies ? asks her to move out immediately.

Ella retaliates by informing everyone about Manpreet's racy online pictures and the recent blackmail scandal.

It's no secret that Ella will be exiting the show soon, but it seems that she's bowing out with a bang as she leaves a trail of destruction in her wake?

Emmerdale airs these scenes on Tuesday, March 25 on ITV1 and ITVX.

    Exclamation Emmerdale Spoilers 24th - 28th March 2025

    https://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/emm...ful-jai-steph/

The following article contains discussion of sexual misconduct.

Emmerdale airs tense scenes next week as Jai Sharma edges dangerously closer to the truth about Anthony Fox's death.

The ruthless businessman targets Steph Miligan when she's at her most vulnerable following the recent revelations about Anthony.

Steph recently discovered that her grandfather Anthony was in fact her biological father, as he'd sexually abused his daughter Ruby when she was a teenager.

In emotional scenes, Ruby told Steph the upsetting truth about Anthony's abuse and how it ultimately led to her killing him in January.

Since then, the story has taken a new turn as Jai has started to get suspicious over Anthony.

Jai is acting out of resentment towards Ruby's husband Caleb. Annoyed over their past spats, and Caleb not pulling his weight at work, Jai is determined to cause trouble for him.

Next week, as Steph struggles to cope with the truth about her paternity, Jai spots that she's upset at work. Although he doesn't know why, he takes advantage of the situation to coax information out of her.

Jai notes with interest that Steph seems to react strangely to every mention of Anthony's name.

Convinced that he's onto something, Jai boldly pushes her for details.

Steph is saved when Caleb suddenly appears and interrupts the conversation.

Caleb thinks quickly by coming up with yet another cover story for Anthony's disappearance, but will Jai believe a word of it?

Georgia Jay, who plays Steph, recently spoke about her character's loyalty to Ruby and Caleb now that the truth is out.

She said: "Steph would definitely not throw her parents under the bus, that's for sure. I don't think she'd want anyone going down for it.

"In terms of whether she'd be able to cope, it's a hard one because in those circumstances you're not going to rock the boat anymore.

"You're dealing with something on such a large scale, so sending people down for murder or trying to focus on that avenue wouldn't really help you that much.

"It's a hard one because I don't think anyone would cope massively well. But I definitely think Steph would stay true to her family."

Emmerdale airs these scenes on Tuesday, March 25 on ITV1 and ITVX.

Emmerdale's Caleb Miligan flatlines on the operating table next week as Joe Tate's shocking plan plays out.

Caleb could lose his life as Joe's twisted scheme to secure a kidney transplant has shocking consequences.

As Caleb is a suitable match for a transplant, Joe has hatched an outrageous plan with Dr Crowley to steal his kidney without permission.

Speaking about the storyline for the first time, Ned Porteous ? who plays Joe ? told Digital Spy and other media: "Joe's in a bit of a sticky situation and he needs a kidney!

"He needs a kidney from someone who is related to him, which gives him the best chance of the operation working. So as Caleb is related to Joe, he needs that kidney.

"Joe will go to the end of the world to get what he wants, because what he wants right now is to save his own life. So what would you do to save your own life? Especially as someone like Joe values his life so highly. He would do anything, I'm pretty sure."

In tense scenes next week, Joe puts the final stages of his plan into action.

First up, Joe suddenly ends his affair with Dawn Fletcher, as Dr Crowley has advised him to get out of the village as soon as the operation is over.

Next on Joe's agenda is to get Ross Barton out of the way, as the bad boy has vowed to spy on him as part of his new job as 'head of security' at Home Farm.

Ross clearly wasn't bluffing, as he boldly knocks on the car window while Joe is having another furtive meeting with Dr Crowley to discuss their game plan.

Joe is furious but finds a sly way to fight back. Ross then receives a worrying phone call informing him that his brother Pete has been attacked.

Putting his Home Farm games on hold, Ross rushes off to support his sibling.

Ned continued: "We never really know what Joe has done to Pete. We haven't seen Pete for a long time.

"I think it's fair to say that Joe would do anything to save his own life. I'm sure he'll crack a few skulls, or some other people's skulls, to do whatever he needs to do."

Later in the week, it's full steam ahead for Joe's scheme. He initially tries to drug Caleb via an accomplice called Gina, but the plan doesn't work.

Joe then asks a second co-conspirator, Shaun, to stab Caleb and steal his car.

After the brutal attack, Joe whisks Caleb off to a private hospital, where Crowley is ready and waiting to perform the surgery.

Taking up the story, Ned told us: "Currently Gina and Shaun are pawns in Joe's chess game.

"I believe that the way Joe sees these people are just characters in a game he's playing. As long as he can pay them to provide a service for him for his greater good, then that's all he sees."

At the private hospital, Crowley is horrified as the extent of Joe's plans becomes clear for the first time. He protests that the stabbing wasn't what he signed up for ? plus Caleb's injuries could be so severe that it's impossible to save him.

Sure enough, the high-stakes operation reaches a critical point as Caleb flatlines. Under-pressure Crowley frantically attempts to save him and perform the transplant at the same time ? what could possibly go wrong?

Ned added: "I don't think Joe is a complete psychopath and without empathy. I think he would care if something bad were to happen, but I think he would also put his own life before Caleb's.

"I think he's willing to accept the consequences of a worst-case scenario, which is obviously sad to say, but in the mission of self-preservation, I'm sure he would do anything."

Emmerdale airs these scenes next week on ITV1 and ITVX.

It's a shame about Ella. She is such a good actress whose character was never well thought out. She was used more as a stunt cast to get ratings, but without the well developed story that would last for years. It's too bad.
