    Exclamation Corrie Spoilers 10th - 14th March 2025

    https://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/cor...evenge-cassie/

Coronation Street's Cassie Plummer is targeted in a shocking revenge plan later this month as Tracy McDonald plots against her.

In upcoming scenes, Cassie faces one of the most difficult moments of her life as Tracy tries to tempt her back into using drugs.

Cassie recently made enemies of the entire Barlow family when she was caught out for drugging Ken and stealing from him.

Viewers know that Cassie was spiking Ken's drinks with antihistamines to make him drowsy, as she wanted him to be totally reliant on her.

She also took advantage of Ken's confused state by using his credit card to make expensive online purchases.

Looking ahead to what's next, dramatic scenes in the coming fortnight see scheming Tracy summon Cassie back to No.1.

Tracy claims that she wants to settle their differences and serves lunch for Cassie.

In a nasty surprise, Tracy's true agenda becomes clear as she hands Cassie some drugs and urges her to get stuck in, determined to ruin her life.

Cassie stares longingly at the drugs and is severely tempted to fall back into her old habits.

Claire Sweeney, who plays Cassie, told Digital Spy and other press: "For Cassie, there's a moment of: 'Well I might as well just do it. I've got nothing else'. It's just a quick escape route if she takes those drugs.

"But there's a moment of: 'Tracy has completely won'. Cassie doesn't want that. She wants to keep her dignity, she wants to stay in control.

"There is a moment of complete temptation. She's sleeping rough and she's got no other options except to do this. But she doesn't ? she stays strong.

"Kate [Ford, who plays Tracy] and I have some great scenes in this story. I love that. There's the caring relationship with Ken, the lust for Steve McDonald and this cat and dog with Tracy and Cassie. It makes for really exciting stuff.

"Tracy could scream and call Cassie all sorts of terrible things and Cassie deserves it, but to just calmly bring her in and be lovely to her and tempt her with the drugs ? it was written brilliantly, that stuff."

Claire also promised that a different direction is coming up for Cassie now that her cruel deception is finally out in the open.

She said: "I think there was a sense of relief for Cassie when she was found out, because she couldn't have just carried on the way she was. It was always going to come to a head. There has to be a bit of a redemption arc with the character.

"There's got to be vulnerabilities. There's got to be some sort of comeuppance for everything she's done. You see the vulnerabilities, you see the scenes where she's explaining to Ken her reasons and her motives. She's prepared to take the consequences on the nose, but look at the reasons she's actually done it."

Coronation Street airs Cassie and Tracy's showdown on Friday, March 14 on ITV1 and ITVX.

Coronation Street's Carla Connor faces an upsetting day next week as she learns that her dangerous brother Rob Donovan may have passed away.

Carla is asked to identify a body as the police seek urgent clarification over whether Rob's reign of terror is finally over.

The big scenes play out as part of a dramatic week of episodes focusing on Rob's story.

Early in the week, Lisa Swain is alarmed to find that her daughter Betsy's bed hasn't been slept in at the flat.

Lisa is aware that Rob is on the loose and lurking nearby, following a creepy break-in at the flat. With Betsy mysteriously gone, Lisa worries that Rob could target her daughter next.

Betsy soon returns home hungover after a drunken night out. Lisa is hugely relieved to see her, but reminds her that it's not safe to go out alone while a dangerous criminal is targeting their family.

Failing to take the situation seriously enough, Betsy dismisses her mum's warnings and heads back out.

Betsy soon regrets her hasty decision as she realises that someone is following her at the Weatherfield Precinct.

As Betsy rushes off, the shifty man gives chase and viewers see that Rob is the one who's tormenting her.

Show bosses aren't giving away the outcome of the frightening encounter, but the story takes yet another twist later in the week.

Lisa informs Carla that the police have found a body near the hospital and they think it could be Rob.

At the mortuary, Carla braces herself as she prepares to identify the body. What will she find? And how does this all fit in with the shock siege scenes that Corrie confirmed in a recent trailer? All will be revealed in the coming weeks.

Coronation Street airs these scenes on Monday, March 10 and Wednesday, March 12 on ITV1 and ITVX.

Coronation Street airs Tommy Orpington's return scenes next week.

Matt Milburn reprises his role as Tommy for a guest appearance, which updates fans on his relationship with Tracy McDonald.

Tommy reappears just as Tracy is celebrating the latest triumph in her feud with Cassie Plummer.

When Cassie calls into the Rovers Return and asks Jenny Connor for some shifts, Jenny scoffs and sends her away empty-handed.

Tracy is delighted to see Cassie struggling so much after the cruel way she treated her dad Ken. As far as Tracy is concerned, Cassie is no longer welcome in Weatherfield.

Shortly afterwards, though, Tracy's joy turns to concern as Tommy reappears unexpectedly.

Tommy informs Tracy that he has landed a new coaching job in Southampton, so they'll have to move away together again.

Tracy firmly insists that she's not going anywhere this time, then orders Tommy to choose between her and the new job. What will he decide?

Digital Spy confirmed plans to bring back Tommy a few weeks ago. Our sources confirmed that he's only returning for one episode for the time being, so fans should expect a brief reappearance.

It's thought that Matt Milburn returned to filming at the start of January, just after appearing in panto over Christmas.

Tracy originally said her goodbyes to Weatherfield in April last year, as she headed off to Spain for a new life with Tommy.

Despite this, Tracy continued to pop back to Weatherfield for visits, catching up on all the latest drama with Ken and her daughter Amy.

In January, Tracy confirmed her plans to stick around in the UK permanently as Tommy's stint working as a football coach abroad had come to an end.

Tracy revealed that she was now living in a posh house in Cheshire with Tommy, but will his job offer change everything?

Coronation Street airs these scenes on Wednesday, March 12 on ITV1 and ITVX.

Coronation Street has confirmed who replaces Yasmeen Metcalfe as co-owner of Speed Daal.

A new set of spoiler clips hints at difficult times ahead for Yasmeen's granddaughter Alya Nazir as she's forced to work alongside a new business partner.

Yasmeen has decided that it's time to leave Weatherfield as she has landed a new job in London.

In preparation for this major life change, Yasmeen is ready to sell her shares in Speed Daal and make a clean break.

An official spoiler clip from Monday's episode (March 10) sees Yasmeen and Alya meet at the Rovers Return to discuss the business's future. Yasmeen announces that the new Speed Daal shareholder is already on the way to the pub.

Alya is shocked when Leanne Battersby turns up ? ready for a new venture after her acrimonious departure from the Bistro. Alya hopes for the best with Leanne at her side, but it won't be long until they start clashing over the best direction for Speed Daal's future.

Meanwhile, a second spoiler clip ? this one for Wednesday's episode (March 12) ? previews the aftermath of Daisy Midgeley tragically losing her baby.

The child's father Kit Green confronts David Platt, revealing that Daisy has exposed his involvement in the car crash.

Kit is surprised as a defeated David confesses everything and makes a heartfelt apology for causing Daisy's devastating loss. How will Kit respond?

The final spoiler clip for next week shows Tracy McDonald receive disappointing news in Friday's episode (March 14).

Craig Tinker informs Tracy that the police won't arrest Cassie Plummer for spiking Ken's drinks and stealing from him. This is because Ken is refusing to give any evidence against her, so there's no reasonable chance of a conviction.

Tracy vows to take matters into her own hands, forming a dark new plan to ruin Cassie's life forever.

Coronation Street has updated fans on the conclusion of Harvey Gaskell's dark storyline.

The ITV soap has decided to bring the Platt family's ordeal to a close, as they finally have the money to pay off the dangerous gangster.

Despite not actually appearing on screen, Harvey has been terrorising the Platt clan from afar over the past few months.

The jailed criminal made sinister threats as he wanted repayment ? with interest ? for money that David Platt had stolen from him last year.

Last week, the saga neared its resolution as Shona Platt desperately blackmailed Daisy Midgeley for the cash.

Shona resorted to this drastic tactic to save her family after David was nearly killed in a road incident that he'd engineered himself. The collision also seriously injured pregnant Daisy, causing her to tragically lose her baby.

In Monday's episode, which was released for early streaming on ITVX this morning, Shona announced that the money had finally been sent and Harvey should no longer be a problem.

Outside the hospital, Shona told David: "Before I forget, I've transferred the money to Harvey last night. So that's it, that's all done. No money to stress about."

While David was pleased that his nightmare was finally over, some tough words from Daniel Osbourne soon provided further complications for the Platts.

Crossing paths with David and Shona at the main entrance of Weatherfield General, Daniel blasted the couple for blackmailing Daisy when she'd just lost her baby.

David, who'd known nothing about this, was overcome with horror as he was faced with the full consequences of the recent crash for the first time.

Later, guilty David confessed everything to Daisy and she demanded that he immediately pay back the ?40,000 she'd given to Shona.

David insisted that this wasn't possible, as Harvey already had the cash and there was no going back.

He said: "It's gone to pay the debt. I can't [get it back], I'm sorry."

Have the Platts finally heard the last of Harvey?
