Neighbours announces return for another classic character
    "Dr Darcy Tyler returns!"

    https://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/nei...-tyler-return/

    Neighbours spoilers follow.

Neighbours has announced that classic character Dr Darcy Tyler is making a return as part of the soap's upcoming 40th anniversary celebrations.

Mark Raffety is reprising his role as the character, with the soap's official Facebook account announcing the news by sharing a photo of him holding a Ramsay Street sign.

"Dr Darcy Tyler returns! Susan's nephew will make a shock return to Erinsborough as part of the show's 40th anniversary celebrations," the caption reads.

"But has dastardly Darcy changed his ways? Or is he set to cause more misery for his old neighbours? We cannot wait to find out..."

Darcy initially appeared on Neighbours between 2000 and 2003, before returning for another stint between 2004 and 2005.

During his time on the soap, Darcy began a relationship with Dee Bliss before embarking on an affair with schoolteacher Tess Bell. Darcy and Tess eventually got engaged, but Tess jilted Darcy on the day of the ceremony and fled to London.

After being released from prison for burglary, Darcy's later stint revolved around his discovery over the identity of the father of Izzy Hoyland's baby.

He ended up in a coma, but then started to blackmail Izzy when he woke up.

It looks like Darcy and Tess could reunite for the first time since Tess fled from Ramsay Street, as it was recently confirmed that Krista Vendy will also reprise her role as Tess in 2025.

Tess initially appeared on the soap between 1999 and 2001, before making a brief return in 2023 as part of the school protest storyline.

The soap announced her return on its offical Instagram account yesterday, writing: "Another blast from the past! Krista Vendy is soon set to reprise her role as Tess Bell... but what's brought her back to Erinsborough this time?"

Script producer Shane Isheev also teased the character's return on social media, writing: "If only you knew WHY Tess is back!" alongside a smirking face emoji.

Neighbours releases new episodes from Mondays to Thursdays for free on Amazon Freevee and Prime Video in the UK and US. In Australia, the show airs from Mondays to Thursdays at 4pm on Channel 10, with a 6.30pm repeat screening on 10 Peach Comedy.

Neighbours' Darcy Tyler holds all the power as he catches out Karl
    What will he do?

    https://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/nei...ches-out-karl/

    Neighbours spoilers follow.

Neighbours favourite Karl Kennedy faces trouble next week as his secret is uncovered by the worst possible person.

Karl finds himself at the mercy of ruthless Darcy Tyler after the manipulative character catches him in a vulnerable moment.

Erinsborough legend Karl has recently returned to town after suffering nasty injuries in a motorcycle accident abroad.

Although Karl's wife Susan believes that he's well on the road to recovery, the reality is very different. Karl has become overly reliant on strong painkiller medication, but is concealing these struggles from everyone around him.

This week, Darcy arrives back on Ramsay Street as part of Neighbours' exciting 40th anniversary episodes.

Darcy moves onto the Street as Terese Willis's new tenant at No.22. The property is currently lying empty as Terese and Nell Rebecchi have decided to move in with Paul Robinson at the Lassiters penthouse.

Susan and Karl aren't pleased to see Darcy back, lamenting the long list of misdeeds from his colourful past.

In follow-on scenes next week, Susan gets on the phone with her sister Carmel to discuss Darcy. She's reassured that it's safe to give Darcy the benefit of the doubt following his return, although Karl remains wary.

Later, Susan and Karl overhear Darcy on the phone to someone and they figure out that he does have an ulterior motive for being back in town.

Darcy explains that he wants to open an integrated health clinic and is searching for investors, but it's all above board.

Events take a turn when Karl's addiction gets the better of him and he starts rummaging around the Kennedy house, desperately searching for more pills.

Darcy catches Karl in the act and realises that he's taking more than the recommended dose. He calls out Karl for being reckless when he should know better, but will Darcy tell anyone what he's seen?

Mark Raffety has reprised the role of Darcy for this return stint. He last featured on the show in 2005.

Neighbours airs these scenes on Monday, March 24.

Neighbours' Darcy Tyler to make two shock demands as his scheming begins
    What is he planning?

    https://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/nei...shock-demands/

    Neighbours spoilers follow.

Neighbours will see Darcy Tyler make two shocking demands next week as his scheming begins.

Darcy recently returned to Erinsborough after 20 years away, moving into Terese Willis's empty house as her new tenant.

Darcy was a rogue back in the day, but is claiming to be a reformed character. Although Susan and Karl Kennedy have chosen to take him at face value, others on the street like Paul Robinson aren't so sure.

In scenes set to air next week, Karl discovers that Darcy was recently fired from another wellness centre in Sydney and is currently facing legal action.

Suspicious, Karl decides to have a nose around Darcy's home, but he gets caught by Darcy and is forced to confront him.

Darcy decides to tell Karl the truth about the drama surrounding his last job, explaining that he was unfairly dismissed after raising the alarm over a patient rip-off.

Darcy then finds out that Karl has stopped taking his medication and reminds him about the dangers of going cold turkey.

Later on, Karl thanks Darcy for being so understanding about his mistakes, to which Darcy says he has a way that Karl can make it up to him. But what does he have in mind?

Darcy also offers to help Terese, who is currently contending with Chelsea Murphy after she returned to town with a newborn baby boy and revealed that Paul is the child's biological father.

However, Darcy wants Terese to do something for him in return. Can they strike a deal?

Neighbours' Karl Kennedy to issue Darcy warning - is he already crossing the line?
Darcy is back to his scheming.

    https://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/nei...darcy-warning/

    Neighbours spoilers follow.

Neighbours' Karl Kennedy will issue a warning to Darcy Tyler in upcoming scenes as he starts to push the boundaries.

Darcy recently returned to Erinsborough after 20 years away, with his aunt Susan agreeing to give him another chance despite his history of misdeeds.

Next week, Terese is intrigued when Darcy offers to keep a close eye on Chelsea, who Terese has been feeling insecure over since she returned to town with Paul Robinson's newborn son Thomas.

In return, Darcy wants to start working at Eirini Rising on a part-time basis, where he'd be job-sharing with Karl.

When Terese reluctantly agrees, Darcy holds up his end of the bargain by getting closer to Chelsea, and the pair even start dating.

Paul is furious when he hears about their relationship, while Terese is privately unsure what it means for her deal with Darcy.

When Paul eventually calms down, he's able to realise that Chelsea could block his access to their son if he gets on the wrong side of her, so he brings himself to apologise.

Meanwhile, Darcy assures Terese that he?ll still honour their agreement, as he doesn't want to see Chelsea and Paul together either.

Later on, Karl is put out when Darcy moves his things into their newly shared office and takes over his consult with Gino.

His concerns grows when Gino later expresses interest in the investor information session for Darcy?s health centre.

Karl warns Darcy that asking residents for money is unacceptable. Is Darcy starting to push the boundaries already?

Neighbours schemer Darcy Tyler dumped as Chelsea overhears shocking revelation
Has he gone too far this time?

    https://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/nei...ea-revelation/

    Neighbours spoilers follow.

Neighbours' Darcy Tyler will be dumped by Chelsea Murphy after she overhears a shocking revelation.

The show was shook by the revelation that Nell Rebecchi was the real killer of Sebastian Metcalfe, and in upcoming scenes Jane Harris, Karl and Susan Kennedy, and Terese Wills gather to support her.

Nell previously revealed she pushed Sebastian in self-defence, accidentally leading to his death, but while JJ Varga-Murphy and Terese try to reassure her, she fears the worst.

Meanwhile, Terese continues to clash with Paul Robinson, who says he only went to the police about Nell to save Leo Tanaka, who had previously been a suspect. During their heated discussion, Chelsea interrupts, clocking the tension between them.

Later on, Chelsea tells Cara Varga-Murphy about her uneasiness about how fast things are moving with new partner Darcy. Adding to her troubles, JJ is still angry with her for telling Paul about Nell.

Terese speaks to Karl and Susan about Paul and how she can?t move past what he did. Although they sympathise, they point out that he had good reason to let the police know about Nell?s accident.

Trying to see both sides of the story, Terese understands their point, but snaps when they offer their point that Chelsea had good intentions too.

Chelsea?s partner Darcy assures Terese that he?ll stick to their agreement to keep an eye on her on Terese?s behalf, even though the new couple?s relationship is now going well. But things take a tense turn when he realises Chelsea has overheard their whole conversation.

She confronts him and Darcy admits the truth, but he promises her his feelings for her are real. Despite pleading with her, Chelsea isn?t convinced and breaks up with him.

Will Darcy be able to win her back, or has he gone too far this time?

Neighbours to revisit Darcy's evil side as he makes shocking move
    Will anyone catch him out?

    https://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/nei...y-amanda-plan/

    Neighbours spoilers follow.

Neighbours recently brought back dodgy doctor Darcy Tyler, and while he's promised that he's turned over a new leaf and wants to make amends for past mistakes, it's not the truth.

In scenes set to air next Monday (12 May), viewers will see Darcy's ulterior motive start to unfold.

n the episode, Lassiters celebrates the Australian Mother's Day with a community f?te, which prompts Amanda Harris to notice the lack of photos of her in Jane's house, and she's left feeling slighted.

Amanda feels even worse when Nicolette Stone doesn't show any interest in looking through her collection of designer clothes she's looking to find a new home for.

She decided to offer all the clothes to Sadie Rodwell, Byron's girlfriend, and declares Mother's Day ruined.

Jane manages to console Amanda in time to salvage the day, having picked up a few tricks to deal with her mother's volatile temperament.

Meanwhile, Darcy ? who recently gave Amanda some financial advice ? checks her shares and sees that they've steadily gone up. He frankly searches for her shareholder documents, and finds them in her freezer.

He later gets confirmation that he's gifted all of Amanda's shares to himself, and is now a very rich man.

"It was only ever a matter of time before Darcy returned to his old tricks - he's been building up to this for weeks," our Neighbours insider shares.

"Amanda is smitten with Darcy's friendship but he just sees her as a way to get rich quickly. Can Amanda's family figure out what's going on before things get any worse?"

Neighbours villain Darcy to finally be caught out ? but he fights back
He has a sinister plan in store for Karl.

    https://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/nei...cy-caught-out/

    Neighbours spoilers follow.

Neighbours favourite Karl Kennedy uncovers the shocking truth about his nephew Darcy Tyler next week ? when it becomes clear that the manipulative medic hasn't changed his ways at all.

Convinced that Darcy's claim he's turned over a new leaf is all an act, Karl meets up with former Erinsborough resident Tess Bell, who it turns out was married to Darcy.

And as Tess reveals the terrible truth about her ex-husband, Karl's left reeling?

"Susan may be fooled by Darcy's Mr Nice Guy act, but Karl's having none of it," our Neighbours source reveals.

"When he meets up with Tess, Karl listens on in horror as she reveals that she divorced Darcy after two horrible years ? and he still owes her a whole load of cash. But what will Susan make of it all?"

Ever since Darcy returned, Karl's been unable to shake the feeling that he's hiding something. However, his hands have been tied since Darcy stumbled upon his uncle's painkiller addiction, and started blackmailing him?

Karl has every right to be suspicious, though, as Darcy's been manipulating Eirini Rising resident Amanda Harris in a bid to get his hands on her life savings. And after searching her apartment for her shareholding documents, sneaky Darcy signs them all over into his name.

Meanwhile, after his alarming meeting with Tess, Karl goes straight to Susan to tell her what he's found out. But he's mortified when he realises that Darcy has overheard every word?

"You can be sure that Darcy won't take Karl's accusations lying down," our insider continues. "He hits back, and it seems Susan is more than satisfied with her nephew's explanations.

"On the other hand, Karl finds it highly suspicious that Darcy has an answer prepared for everything. Something just doesn't ring true about what he's saying."

It seems Karl may have underestimated his opponent though, as Darcy's soon concocting a plot to discredit Karl? and having agreed to help his uncle get his painkiller addiction under control, wicked Darcy secretly switches Karl's herbal medication for opioids.

As Karl unwittingly downs the very medication he's trying to avoid, how will it affect him? And will he be left at the mercy of dastardly Darcy?

Neighbours airs these scenes on Tuesday 13 May and Wednesday 14 May.
