Emmerdale has confirmed that Daz Spencer is returning to the soap for Amelia's exit storyline.
Teen character Amelia bows out from the ITV soap later this month following her recent involvement in the long-running Tom King plot.
Amelia started a relationship with Tom in September following his split from his wife Belle.
Viewers saw Amelia stand by Tom amid the disturbing revelations that he'd abused his wife Belle, refusing to believe that it could be true.
More recently, Amelia started to see Tom's cruel and abusive behaviour firsthand, and she finally turned against him when he was charged with coercive control and assault.
In upcoming scenes, Amelia decides that there isn't much left for her in the village and she announces that she's moving away to live with Daz, her biological father.
Amy Wyatt throws a last-minute goodbye party, but Amelia is disappointed when Kerry doesn't show up.
Amelia says her goodbyes to the other villagers, but will Kerry really let her go without making an appearance to wish her well?
Daisy Campbell, who plays Amelia, told Digital Spy and other press: "It was emotional to film the final episodes. It was weird, because we film in two-week blocks. So, the first week was really emotional, because Mark Jordon, who plays Daz, comes back. It was lovely to see him again.
"So, that was really emotional, and whenever I work with Laura Norton, who plays Kerry, she's so good at doing emotions. The way she cries, I cry!
"Then on the second week, I think I was used to it. I was really dreading my last block, because I hate crying in front of people unless it's for a scene. But my last week just felt fine. I didn't really cry that much. I was actually proud of myself. I was like: 'Oh, I've not got teary scenes this week'. But it was emotional, really emotional."
She added: "Amelia ends up going to live back with Daz in Leicester. We had a scene where I had to say: 'I'm off to move to Leicester with Esther!' So she ends up moving back with Daz, which is nice. He comes back for one episode, which is lovely."
Emmerdale airs these scenes on Friday, December 19, on ITV1 and ITVX.

Emmerdale villain Tom King resorts to shocking measures to escape justice later this month.
The schemer is forced to change tactics after unsuccessful attempts to convince his uncle Jimmy to support him in court.
Tom is due to stand trial over charges of coercive controlling behaviour and assault, after finally being caught out for abusing his wife Belle.
Later this month, Tom decides that ? with Jimmy refusing to defend him in court ? his best option is to scare off Belle from testifying.
In upcoming scenes, there's a 'code red' in Tom's prison cell, and Belle is later told that he has been rushed to hospital.
Belle is shaken when she learns that Tom tried to take his own life. The news immediately sends her into a spiral, as she wonders whether she can still testify against Tom if he's genuinely struggling with his mental health.
Charity Dingle takes a different stance, correctly guessing that Tom has faked the incident to manipulate Belle again.
Determined to get answers, Charity forces her way into Tom's hospital room and orders him to confess the truth.
This decision backfires as Tom realises that Charity is only visiting him because Belle isn't coping, which leaves him feeling more smug than ever before.
Later in the week, the day of the court case arrives, and Belle leaves her family a note before sneaking out of the Dingle house.
The prosecution barrister warns the Dingles that, without Belle's testimony, the case against Tom could fall apart. Will Belle make an appearance or risk letting Tom walk free?
James Chase, who plays Tom, commented: "Tom planned this and knew that he wouldn't be seriously hurting himself. He becomes pretty confident that he's going to get away with not having to do the trial.
"It's a bit of a shocker when he finds out that he's actually fit to stand trial. I think this is one of those reality-checking moments for Tom.
"Tom probably thought through plans A, B, C and all the way through to Z for what he would do if they did buy the fact that he was unfit to stand trial. So this has definitely thrown a spanner in the works for him."
He added: "Tom believes the more he can mess with Belle's head, the more he can get her in a state of stress and then the less likely she will be able to show up to court.
"If she doesn't go to court, she won't be there to testify. So he hopes he can completely manipulate the jury to an extent where he wins and gets away with everything ? I think that is his aim."
Emmerdale airs the trial episodes on Wednesday, December 18, and Thursday, December 19, on ITV1 and ITVX.

I am hoping that the trial will be better than the usual tripe we get shown.... not holding my breath though... but I am sure that Belle will turn up and that Tom gets sent to jail..

He has both lower arms bandaged... did he attempt to slash his wrists a tiny little bit? Surely the doctors would have seen it is not serious???

That's just it. I don't believe he tried at all. He just wanted to give the illusion that he did to freak out Belle who would be afraid for his mental health and to hopefully get the court to see that he wasn't fit to stand trial. I hope the shrink sees right through his miserable self.
