Leaked Home and Away photo hints at major 2025 storyline
The 2024 Home and Away cliffhanger may be solved by a new face in the Bay.
https://au.lifestyle.yahoo.com/leake...224828541.html
Home and Away may have finished on our screens for another year, but that hasn't stopped the eagle-eyed fans from already noticing some new faces in the upcoming 2025 storylines.
The series ended for 2024 on an epic cliffhanger involving Cash looking like he's gotten himself in a spot of trouble after waking up next to a seemingly unconscious (or dead) Tim, with blood on his hands. Cash had originally gone to find his ex Eden who was at a secluded resort with Tim and the rest of the band Lyrik, to warn her that Tim's ex-client Nerida was on the rampage and out for revenge.
So what happened? While we won't fully known until 2025, a grab from one of Rose's potential last scenes in Summer Bay hints at what we can expect.
The below has potential spoilers for 2025 Home and Away, so read at your own risk!
Home and Away fans spot new character
While we wait to see the result of the bloodshed ? is Tim alive? Is Cash innocent? How exactly was Nerida involved and how did she take on two grown-ass men? ? a behind-the-scenes photo has fans talking about the potential outcome of all the drama, and how a brand new face may be involved.
In a Home and Away Facebook fan group, an admin uploaded an image showing a new character whose name is yet unknown, but played by Craig Hall (Neighbours, The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug) but could be a potential police officer or detective investigating what the hell happened between Cash, Tim, and Nerida.
"A new character played by Craig Hall (character name not confirmed) he played Victor Stone on Neighbours," the admin posted. "Looks like he is just a guest appearance and not sure if he?s a police officer or detective, but you see him standing behind Rose. This was post before Rose left ? could be Nerida, but to me she doesn't look like Nerida."
Fans were quick to point out though that they do think the woman in handcuffs is Nerida finally being arrested.
"That is Nerida definitely!" one person commented. "Definitely Nerida in handcuffs," another agreed. "Maybe he?s a lawyer and possibly that girl is one of the river people cash arrests," someone else theorised.
What to expect from Home and Away 2025
While we have to suffer through Home and Away not being on our screens until mid-January, there's already quite a lot of drama to look forward to in Summer Bay for 2025.
From Mali and Abigail being spotted filming (more) kissing scenes, to Rose sadly departing and driving off into the sunset with Bree and Kirby waving her off, to the return of two fan favourites involved in a brand new River Boys storyline being filmed in Far North Queensland, there'll be plenty of storylines to keep us hooked.

Following on from the article in the previous post, Craig Hall's actor profile shows that he will be playing the role of 'Detective Mark Townsend' in Home and Away (I assume it will be a guest role).

The H&A season in Aust usually ends with a trailer, showing what's in store in Summer Bay the following year. However, this didn't happen this year, instead after the final episode, Ch7 aired a less revealing promo, featuring mostly older footage, with vocals by Aust singer Amy Shark (see earlier post). However, New Zealand TVNZ did broadcast the usual 'next episode' promo afterwards, giving us a first look at what's in store in Home and Away's 2025 season return.

Merry Christmas everyone!
Home and Away Unveils Sneak Peek at 2025 Season Comeback?
https://nationsnews24.com/home-and-a...ason-comeback/
Home and Away comes to an end each November, usually with a dramatic finale to keep viewers on the edge of their seats until its return the following January.
2024 was no different, with this year's cliffhanger seeing Cash (Nicholas Cartwright) waking up to find Eden's (Stephanie Panozzo) new boyfriend Tim Russell (George Pullar) bloodied and unconscious next to him, with both Cash and Tim appearing to have taken a battering.
Justin stumbled across the scene, but while it appeared to him that Cash was to blame for Tim's injuries, viewers were left wondering whether Tim's former client Nerida Mullins (Ellie Gall) was involved.
Cash had tracked down Nerida as part of his battle to dig up dirt on Tim, who has recently begun dating Cash's now ex-fianc? Eden.
Nerida revealed that she was a patient of Tim's some time ago, and that they?d begun dating. Cash then used this as ammunition as he tried to convince Eden that her new boyfriend had repeatedly made morally questionable decisions and couldn?t be trusted.
However, in the final episodes, Cash and Abigail discovered that Nerida was lying about her relationship with Tim - the pair had never dated, and Nerida had developed an unhealthy obsession with her former counsellor. Tim was innocent.
Cash began to fear for Eden's safety when Nerida instructed Cash to "tell your ex to watch her back," warning, "I'd hate for her to get in the way."
Meanwhile, Remi (Adam Rowland) had organised a getaway for Lyrik and friends to a luxurious remote island retreat where they could rehearse without the noise complaints that had been plaguing them in Summer Bay.
The getaway saw heartbreak for Tim and Eden, when Eden's refusal to sing the song she wrote about Cash made Tim realise that Eden was still in love with her ex.
Back in Summer Bay, Cash discovered that both Tim's car and the Lyrik sharehouse had been vandalised.
Cash rushed to Lyrik's island retreat to protect them, but when he tried explaining his fears about Nerida, Tim refused to listen, fed up of Cash's interference.
Remi had previously spotted the pair arguing, and in the final scenes of the year, Justin came around the corner to find Cash standing over Tim's lifeless body.
What wasn't clear was whether Cash had taken things too far, or whether Nerida had also made her way to the island and was involved in the attack.
Cash awoke to find his hands covered in blood, with Tim lying unconscious next to him, and it looked like he was going to have a tough time clearing his name.
The season usually ends with a trailer, teasing what's in store in Summer Bay the following year.
However, this year that wasn't to be - after the final episode, Seven aired a much less revealing promo for the show, featuring mostly already-seen footage of our favourite characters, with vocals by Aussie singer-songwriter Amy Shark.
Thankfully, New Zealand broadcaster TVNZ have saved the day.
The 2024 Season Finale aired on New Zealand screens on Wednesday 18th December, and the channel broadcast the usual 'next episode' promo afterwards, giving us our first look at what's in store in Home and Away's 2025 season return.
We pick up moments after we left off, and the promo begins with a New South Wales Police team on their way to Koy Stone River Estate resort where Tim sustained his injuries.
"Base, this is Unit One. We're now en route to the Koy Stone River Estate," the lead detective announces over the radio.
The new detective is played by former Neighbours and A Place to Call Home star Craig Hall.
Craig Hall's arrival has been expected for some time, after an Instagram video posted by a cast member showed him on the set of Northern Districts Police Station, standing behind Rose Delaney actress Kirsty Marillier, and next to Nerida actress Ellie Gall.
"Be advised, we now have confirmation of two male victims of suspected assault," a colleague replies over the radio.
On the island, Justin has presumably raised the alarm after stumbling across the scene. Remi is already with Cash and Tim, but Eden rushes over, calling out her boyfriend's name.
"Tim! Is he okay?" she asks, as we see Bree (Juliet Godwin) checking on Tim, who still appears to be unconscious.
"I don't know," Remi replies, as Kirby (Angelina Thomson) holds her back.
At that point, Eden notices that Cash is sitting, shellshocked, on the wall next to them.
"Cash?" she asks, wondering what on earth he's doing on Lyrik's private island break.
"Are you alright?" he replies.
"How did you get here?" she asks, as it dawns on her that Cash may have had something to do with Tim's injuries.
We then see Bree informing a paramedic to take Tim "straight to Northern Districts Hospital," as Cash sits on a step, still shaken up, while the new detective watches on.
"I'll ride along with you," Bree tells Cash, but he replies: "I can't leave Eden."
"Hey, Cash, you are no good to anybody in the state that you're in," Bree assures him.
"I can still help with the investigation," Cash insists, as he looks over at the detective.
But the detective is very quick to make the situation clear.
"You're not a police officer right now," he tells Cash. "You're a suspect!"
Will Tim pull through? And will Cash be able to clear his name when we return to Summer Bay next year?
Shortly after the Season Finale, Seven released the following teaser for the new year:
"Cash has been discovered by Justin at the scene of a violent crime after an intense late-night altercation between Cash and Eden?s new boyfriend, Tim. But as day breaks, Cash is seen waking up on the ground, crawling over to an unresponsive and bloodied Tim.
With the evidence stacking up against him, the question on everyone's lips will soon be: is Cash responsible for the brutal attack on Tim? With a new detective on the case and more questions than answers, is the Bay's resident cop looking at a life behind bars?
Also, will Dr Levi Fowler's (Tristan Gorey) risky surgery on Harper and her unborn baby boy end in success or devastation?
The new year also promises fresh faces in the Bay, new romances, an emotional goodbye, and the highly anticipated return of Ziggy (Sophie Dillman) and Dean (Patrick O'Connor) for an exciting storyline set in the Whitsunday Region of tropical north Queensland."
Home and Away returns to Australian screens on Monday 13th January 2025.

Home and Away spoilers: Things are looking grim for Cash in the season premiere
Everything has come to a head in the Bay.
https://www.nowtolove.com.au/enterta...ason-premiere/
The wait is over. In the gripping season opener of Home And Away, fans will finally get to find out the events that led to Cash waking up alongside an unconscious Tim with blood all over his hands.
And things certainly aren't looking good for the Summer Bay cop.
Picking up where things left off, we find a concerned Justin (James Stewart), who has just come across a bloody and disorientated Cash (Nicholas Cartwright) near Tim (George Pullar).
While Justin doesn't jump to conclusions, the scene looks ominously suspicious, particularly as he knows just how much Cash has had it in for Tim since he learned he was dating his ex-fianc? Eden (Stephanie Panozzo).
Pushing those thoughts aside, Justin rallies a distressed Eden, Remi (Adam Rowland) and his girlfriend Bree (Juliet Godwin) ? to care for Tim while they wait for emergency services to arrive.
But as each minute passes, Tim's situation worsens.
And while doctor Bree could technically step in to help, given how fragile she?s been lately after nearly killing Alf (Ray Meagher) with her inaction late last year, could she make things worse?
When emergency services finally arrive, so do the authorities, among them Mark Townsend (played by former A Place To Call Home star Craig Hall), a new detective sergeant who has his eyes on one person: Cash.
"Cash is in a predicament, because the only evidence they really have is him, covered in blood, next to Tim, so it all points to him," Nicholas, 33, tells TV WEEK.
"The situation is dire - and because he has no recollection of what happened, he must place his trust in the police. And as much as he wants to trust the system, he's also prone to going rogue from time to time."
Meanwhile, back in the Bay, Harper (Jessica Redmayne) is readying to undergo the surgery to remove a cyst on her unborn baby's lungs.
And although the baby's father, Tane (Ethan Browne), her sister Dana (Ally Harris) and Levi (Tristan Gorey) - the doctor who'll be performing the surgery - have assured her it's the right thing to do, Harper still has a feeling in the pit of her stomach that something isn't right.
And Levi can't ignore the fact that Harper's blood pressure is continuing to climb too?
With several Summer Bay residents currently locked into life-or-death situations, it's safe to say the Bay will never look the same.

Nowtolove.com.au article:
Every spoiler for Home and Away 2025 spotted by eagle-eyed fans
Nothing gets past these fans.
https://www.nowtolove.com.au/lifesty...2025-spoilers/
One of Australia?s favourite soaps, Home and Away has closed its doors for 2024, but that hasn?t stopped fans from creating theories on what to expect in 2025.
Its dedicated fan-based have travelled to the beach-side fictional town of Summer Bay, to watch the cast film future scenes ? which means plenty of Home and Away 2025 spoilers are available for us to dissect before its return on January 13, 2025.
In the 2024 season finale, multiple plots ended on massive cliffhangers that left fans itching for answers. Cash Newman (Nicholas Cartwright) crouching over the bloodied and seemingly lifeless body of Tim (George Pullar), meanwhile Harper (Jessica Redmaybe) underwent a rare and difficult surgery in an attempt to save her unborn baby.
While many may believe Cash will be heading straight for jail in the new year, eagle-eyed fans have jumped to the conclusion that he may avoid prison after a photo of Craig Hall ? best known for his role in Neighbours ? who portrays detective Mark Townsend, was leaked with a mystery blonde woman in handcuffs.
Furthermore, a fan has spotted Cash dressed in his police uniform filming scenes in sunny Summer Bay. Speaking of arrests, he was spotted performing his duties and arresting a bunch of River boys.
Aside from Cash?s complex fate, it is also believed one beloved resident will be departing the Australian soap in 2025. But who?
Fans have alleged Rose, played by Kristy Marillier, will be exiting Home and Away after she was spotted driving out of Summer Bay, with her friends waving her off in October.
Tane Parata, played by Ethan Browne is also rumoured to leave despite being caught filming in Palm Beach recently.
Unfortunately, producers remain tight-lipped on which character would be bidding farewell. But, Ada Nicodemou did reveal to TV WEEK that it may be ?someone important.? We can?t help but wonder if it will be one of the legacy cast members.
But when one door closes, another opens! Our favourites Ziggy and Dean, Sophie Dillman and Patrick O?Connor respectively, will be making a grand return in early 2025.
However, Channel Seven have remained tight-lipped regarding the explicit details of their return. We do know that the lovebirds won?t be filming in Palm Beach with their fellow co-stars but rather scenes were filmed in North Queensland.
And speaking of happy news, the original opening titles and accompanying theme song will return in 2025, however, it won?t feature in every episode. It is currently unknown if the original song first sung by Karen Boddington and Mark Williams in 1989 will be revamped for modern viewing.
