Later, Leanne sets her sights on Nick as she insists they have a drink together, but will he agree? She then finds Toyah?s passport and uploads the photo page from her passport onto a website. What is she up to?

When David and Shona go to a meeting with the prison governor, he reveals that Clayton previously issued two visiting orders and someone came to see him. When the governor refuses to tell who the visitor was, David ushers Shona out. But a suspicious Shona confronts him and demands to know if he was Clayton?s visitor.

How will he talk himself out of this?

Kit flirts with Daisy as he helps her position the fairy on the Christmas tree and suggests they go on a date.

As they head for the Bistro, Daisy is unimpressed as Kit shows no sympathy when Max approaches and blames him for Lauren being in a prison cell on her birthday. Will she cut the date short?

Chesney?s furious to discover someone has slashed his car tyres. Telling Fiz about the man with the van, he?s convinced he?s the one behind it. Later, he spots the same van again parked outside the house but as he takes a closer look, it speeds away.

Over lunch, Adam admits to Alya that he likes her a lot but when he heads to the bathroom, his phone beeps with a notification from a dating app. Will she confront him?

    Wednesday

Shona Platt tries to force her way into the prison to see Clayton

David admits to Max that he intercepted the visiting orders and visited Clayton but Shona Platt must never know.

Meanwhile, Shona jumps in Steve?s cab and orders him to take her somewhere but he mustn?t breathe a word about it to anyone. As the argument escalates and Shona loses her temper, she shoves the governor. In a bid of desperation, will Max tell her the truth?

Later, Shona arrives home in the back of Steve?s cab, but glancing at the house, she changes her mind and orders him to drive her back into town.

In the flat, a plotting Leanne watches Nick trying to fix the Christmas lights and, at Les?s will reading, Nick comforts Leanne as Toyah watches on.

Adam reveals that the abattoir where Les worked has offered ?50k in compensation for his death, with the condition of signing an NDA. Bernie suggests Chesney look into it as there seems to be more to Les?s death than the abattoir is letting on.

Nick lies to Leanne that the school won?t let Sam go on holiday and he?ll be going alone but when Toyah gives Leanne her holiday dates she notes that she?ll be off at exactly the same time as Nick. Leanne replaces Toyah?s passport and opens an email confirming a new bank account in Toyah?s name with Miller & Wise Bank. What is she up to?

Struggling to come to terms with being fitted with a stoma bag, Bethany attends her support group and it?s clear she?s lied to Dawn, the group leader, about the operation she had which resulted in a stoma bag.

Later, Sarah shows Bethany a news article stating that the Turkish clinic she used has botched another liposuction operation.

Daisy admits to Kit that she was unimpressed at his handling of Max and reckons he could have been more empathetic. Will they be able to put this behind them?

But who has he named as being connected to the clinic?

In the Rovers, Jesse and Gail discuss what they should do with the money from his house sale. Will they use the cash to make a new life elsewhere? Or will they use it to stay in Weatherfield for good?

After Shona doesn't come home the night before, David calls in at the caf? hoping she will have turned up for work but is surprised when she isn?t there. Finally returning home, Shona confides in Roy that she?s done something she deeply regrets.

    What has she done?

    Exclamation Corrie Spoilers 2nd - 6th December 2024

    https://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/cor...owan-outburst/

Coronation Street's Leanne Battersby loses her temper in court next week as Rowan Cunliffe goes on trial.

Leanne is unable to keep her composure as she fears that the cruel con artist will walk free despite his crimes.

Rowan is standing trial over allegations of fraud and blackmail after his sinister activities as a leader of The Institute cult.

Leanne is determined to see justice served as she's furious with Rowan for manipulating her when she was vulnerable earlier this year.

Next week, the trial begins and Leanne, Amy Barlow and Nick Tilsley are each called to give evidence.

Rowan's defence barrister puts on an impressive performance, sternly cross-examining all three and casting doubt on their claims.

When things seem to be going his way, Rowan shares a smug grin in Leanne's direction.

Leanne immediately loses her temper and speaks her mind, causing the case to be adjourned. Has she just ruined her chances of seeing Rowan get sent down?

Emrhys Cooper, who played Rowan, returned to filming a couple of months ago to film these scenes.

This is expected to be the final time that viewers see Rowan as his storyline comes to an end.

Speaking exclusively to Digital Spy recently, Emrhys commented: "He hasn't quite finished his naughty business yet.

"There might be a little bit more of a twist yet to see, so keep watching and you'll soon see."

Asked whether it's important to see Rowan get his comeuppance, Emrhys replied: "I think so! It's been so fun playing Rowan. I think he's caused so much trouble that that would have to happen, right?"

Coronation Street airs these scenes on Monday, December 2 on ITV1 and ITVX.

Coronation Street's David Platt confides in his stepson Max Turner about his guilty secret next week.

David is desperately trying to cover his tracks after blocking his wife Shona from seeing her jailed son Clayton Hibbs.

Earlier this month, David deleted visiting orders that Clayton had sent to Shona. He also visited Clayton in jail to warn him off.

When Shona later learned that Clayton had attempted to take his own life in prison, she became determined to get answers over how his mental health could have deteriorated without her being aware. Undeterred, David continued to manipulate Shona.

Next week, Shona heads off for a meeting with the prison governor and David accompanies her.

David panics when the governor mentions that Clayton issued two visiting orders a few weeks ago ? and that someone came to see him. Fortunately for David, the governor refuses to confirm who the visitor was.

Later in the week, David confesses to Max that he was the one who intercepted the visiting orders. He insists that Shona must never find out the truth.

Refusing to let this go, Shona asks local cabbie Steve McDonald to take her back to the prison. Although Shona swears him to secrecy, Steve later tells Max about the mysterious taxi ride.

Steve takes Max to investigate and they arrive at the prison gates just in time to find Shona mid-row with the governor.

The argument spirals out of control, culminating in Shona pushing the governor and risking landing herself in big trouble. In desperation to end the row, will Max tell Shona what David is hiding from her?

Coronation Street airs these scenes on Monday, December 2 and Wednesday, December 4 on ITV1 and ITVX.

Coronation Street's Kit Green messes up his big chance to impress Daisy Midgeley next week.

The Weatherfield police detective has been flirting with Daisy over the past few weeks, but it's far from plain sailing when the pair finally arrange a date.

Next week's scenes see Kit turn on the charm once again as he helps Daisy with the Christmas decorations at the Rovers Return. Kit takes the opportunity to suggest a date and they agree to a meal at the Bistro.

Just as the potential new love match are heading off together, local teen Max Turner approaches to start a row with Kit.

Max complains that Kit is to blame for the fact that Lauren Bolton is spending her birthday in a prison cell.

Kit shows no sympathy, pointing out that Lauren is guilty of killing Joel Deering, but Daisy isn't impressed by his tactless approach to the situation.

Seeing another side to Kit's personality, will Daisy decide to cut their date short?

Later in the week, Daisy raises her concerns openly by telling Kit that she didn't like the way he handled the situation with Max.

Daisy points out that Kit could have been more understanding after everything that Joel put Lauren and Max through.

Can the pair of them move past this dispute and focus on their own connection once again?

Lauren was revealed to viewers as Joel's killer earlier this month and later made a full confession to the police.

Speaking to Digital Spy and other media about the outcome, Calum Lill ? who played Joel ? recently commented: "Soap justice is definitely a thing and I think that's the best justice Joel could have got. He didn't deliberately try to kill Lauren, but he attacked her viciously and nearly killed her.

"For it to now come full circle and for him to get his comeuppance from the person that he attacked, when she was vulnerable and defenceless, I think it's what he deserves."

Coronation Street airs these scenes on Monday, December 2 and Wednesday, December 4

Coronation Street has revealed a new twist in the Les Battersby death storyline, with the soap due to air a development in the plot next week.

It was reported in October that classic character Les, who was last seen in Weatherfield in 2007, was due to be killed off screen, and the news is confirmed in this Friday's episode (November 29).

Leanne Battersby receives a huge shock when a police officer arrives to see her and shares the news that her dad Les has died at work.

However, it appears that there might be more to Les's death than it initially seems.

In next week's scenes, solicitor Adam Barlow meets with Leanne, along with Les's former stepchildren Toyah Habeeb, Fiz Dobbs and Chesney Winter-Brown, to share some news with them.

He explains that the abattoir where Les had been working has offered his family ?50,000 as compensation for his death at work - so long as they agree to sign an NDA.

Chesney's mother-in-law Bernie Winter tells Chesney that it might be a good idea to look into Les's death further, as it sounds like the abattoir could be hiding something.

Is Les's death part of a big cover-up?

The tragic news comes at a terrible time for Leanne, who is already preparing to face The Institute leader Rowan Cunliffe in court as he stands trial for fraud and blackmail.

As she loses her temper at the smug cult leader while she's giving evidence, it looks like Leanne may have jeopardised the case.

Leanne is also set to discover that her sister Toyah and ex-partner Nick Tilsley have been secretly dating behind her back, as she looks into a holiday to Tenerife that Nick has booked.

Corrie's new producer Kate Brooks has told Digital Spy and other media that Leanne will seek revenge on Nick and Toyah in the lead-up to Christmas, explaining that Leanne "really wants to make them pay" for their lies.

"She is really intent on getting her own revenge," Brooks said. "It can be at the detriment of her own sanity sometimes, but she wants to make them realise what they've done to her.

"Nick's betrayal is one thing, but the betrayal of a sister is huge, and I just love that dynamic between Toyah and Leanne ? I think it's fantastic."
