This week in Neighbours, Terese accompanies Paul to the highlands when he goes searching for his son Leo (Tim Kano), who has seemingly gone missing, wanting to support him while he?s in a panic.

When the pair arrive, they learn that Leo is, in fact, safe and sound at home, but landslides on the roads back to Erinsborough force them to spend the night together in a cheesy motel.

Neither would have chosen the location, but the chemistry between the former married couple is palpable.

?It?s definitely an opportunity [to reconnect],? Stefan says. ?It would appear the love gods have been working overtime to bring them together.?

After a night of trying to deny their feelings, worried how a relationship might affect their friendship, the pair give into temptation and embrace passionately. It?s official ? they?re back on! But will everyone in their inner circle be as happy for them?

Neighbours airs a major turning point for Paul Robinson and Terese Willis's storyline next week.

The former couple are about to take centre stage in a special two-hander episode, which explores the unresolved feelings between them.

Romantic chemistry between the pair has been building since Terese split from her husband Toadie Rebecchi earlier this year.

Paul has been supporting Terese through the devastating consequences of her alcohol relapse and is pleased to see her now getting her life back on track.

Next week, Paul and Terese team up for an unexpected road trip when it seems that Leo Tanaka may be in danger.

Upcoming scenes see Leo head off to Winterton after receiving a tip-off that Krista Sinclair's missing friend Sebastian Metcalfe is hiding out there.

In an unfortunate coincidence, just as Leo leaves, Sebastian pops up at The Waterhole.

When the bad boy hears that Leo has departed for Winterton, he warns Paul that it won't be safe for him there. It seems that the drama currently engulfing Sebastian could implicate Leo too if he starts asking questions around the area.

Sebastian flees before sharing any more details, so Paul and Terese take a road trip to Winterton in the hope of bringing them both back.

The trip proves to be a distressing one for Paul, as he's confronted by evidence which suggests that something terrible may have happened to his beloved son.

Paul is haunted by bad memories of losing Leo's twin brother David in similar tragic circumstances earlier this year.

Fortunately, Paul later receives contact from Leo, who assures him that he's fine and already on his way back home.

Paul and Terese try to follow suit, but their journey is disrupted by road blocks due to landslides in the area.

The former couple rent out a cabin in a nearby town, but it's awkward for them as the location is clearly catered for couples ? including romantic decorations, flowers and heart-shaped chocolates.

During a heart-to-heart, Paul and Terese discuss their turbulent history and agree that their relationship was too toxic to revisit.

The next day, however, Paul realises that he's been lying to himself and he tells Terese that he wants her back. How will she respond?

A mystery car crashes into Max, Sadie and Seb

When a car brutally knocks down Max, Sadie and Seb in the middle of the road, it's no accident. The driver had a target.

This week in Neighbours, Seb (Rarmian Newton) has been crashing on his old friend Krista's (Majella Davis) couch. She's over his self-destructive and criminal behaviour and tells him so, but he still has the hide to ask her for money to pay back loan sharks.

"Seb owes a lot of money to some dangerous people over the stunts he's pulled and the contraband he's bought," Rarmian, 31, tells TV Week.

Krista gives her friend an ultimatum he can turn his life around and she'll help get sober, or he can take the money, but never contact her again. She's heartbroken when he chooses the money. But instead of leaving town, he stays far closer to Krista than she realises.

"She gets in touch with his dealer to gather more information about the guys who want to hurt him," Rarmian reveals. "After discovering it can't be resolved that easily, he comes back to Erinsborough, where he breaks into a construction office for somewhere to sleep.

"He's hiding from loan sharks and is conflicted between his safety and asking for Krista's help."

Then, on Christmas Day, Seb is picking up food from Grease Monkey's when he bumps into Sadie and Max. Out of nowhere, a vehicle speeds at Seb, knocking down all three of them. Who is behind the wheel? And who will survive the attack? "

Before they go, Holly Hoyland pays a visit to the family and hands over a Christmas present, hoping that it will help to make amends for Cara's recent accident at Lassiters.

Dex still refuses to forgive Holly and immediately rejects the apology, but his harsh stance upsets Cara.

JJ urges his brother to see that he needs to start focusing on what's best for Cara, rather than his own grudge. Finally willing to move on, Dex apologises to Holly.

Later, the Varga-Murphys arrive at the airport. Cara is confused when she thinks she can see a brief glimpse of her sister Chelsea passing through the building, but she immediately brushes the possibility to one side.

The truth is that Chelsea really is back in Melbourne ? and she's pregnant.

Chelsea was last seen on Neighbours in May, when her engagement party descended into chaos.

As Chelsea and her fianc? Paul Robinson celebrated in front of family and friends, Krista Sinclair gatecrashed the event to expose her terrible secrets.

Weeks earlier, Chelsea had been responsible for locking pregnant Krista in the Lassiters sauna room, causing Krista to tragically lose her baby daughter Hope.
