Neighbours has confirmed the first official details of the show's 2024 finale week.

The Aussie soap will be taking a short break over the Christmas and New Year period this year ? the first time the show has gone off air since being revived by Amazon.

Neighbours' final episode of the year has been scheduled in for Thursday, December 19. A two-week break will follow before the popular drama returns on Monday, January 6.

New spoiler pictures have now offered our first look at the final episodes of the year.

In a special two-hander episode airing on Monday, December 16, Paul Robinson and Terese Willis head off for some special on-location scenes.

Things look tense for the popular pair as they appear to be anxiously searching for someone.

Do they fear that history has repeated itself, so soon after Paul lost his son David Tanaka?

Meanwhile, follow-up scenes on Thursday, December 19 see the Ramsay Street residents gather to celebrate Christmas Day ? but it won't be a joyous occasion for all.

Holly Hoyland is seen breaking down, seemingly after receiving an unexpected delivery.

Other images preview a dramatic incident for Sadie Rodwell, Max Ramsay and newcomer Sebastian when there's a targeted collision on Power Road.

It's not all bad news, as the excited Varga-Murphy family look set to finally fly out for their long-awaited New York trip, while Krista Sinclair and Leo Tanaka appear loved-up as they celebrate the holiday season together.

Fuller details will be revealed nearer the time, but in the meantime, Neighbours has released short teaser spoilers for the final two weeks of Ramsay Street action this year.

Neighbours releases new episodes from Mondays to Thursdays for free on Amazon Freevee and Prime Video in the UK and US. In Australia, the show airs from Mondays to Thursdays at 4pm on Channel 10, with a 6.30pm repeat screening on 10 Peach Comedy.

So, Chelsea is back. Will she be pregnant? There is a lot of speculation around, given the current storyline with Cara no longer able to have kids, that Remi & Cara will end up with Chelsea's baby.

I wonder if theyll go down the postpartum route with CHELSEA??

This coming week I understand we will see the return of IT expert Jeffrey Swan, who Yaz asks to try & recover the data from Heath's broken phone. So, will the twist be that if Chelsea is indeed pregnant, Jeffrey is actually the father? And if so, will she still try & make Paul believe he is the father (causing more trouble between Paul & Terese...). Then, when it comes out that Paul is not the father, eventually Chelsea ends up giving the baby to Cara & Remi? All just a theory, but it doesn't seem coincidental that both Chelsea & Jeffrey reappear within a week or so of each other! We will see...
