Bianca Jackson is stunned to see her absent dad David Wicks

Bianca Jackson has been rocked by a series of family shocks ever since she reappeared in Albert Square!

Not only did she uncover that Zack Hudson had done the dirty on her daughter Whitney Dean, causing her to leave Walford, now Bianca's sister Sonia Fowler is banged up for a crime she didn't commit.

Convinced that Sonia's fiance Reiss Colwell is covering up murdering his coma victim wife Debbie Colwell and letting Sonia take the blame, Bianca recently returned to Albert Square to fight for Sonia's freedom.

After trying a variety of tactics from coercion to threats in a bid to get Reiss to 'fess up, Bianca is running out of options.

With her mental health already in a precarious place, she's now beginning to spiral. She's about to get a massive shock when a familiar face turns up in the Square...

Bianca's father David Wicks!


David's return to Walford, ten years after he last set foot in the Vic, causes ructions for more than just Bianca. Cindy Beale is stunned when she spies David in the Square and hurries to keep out of sight.

Back in the day, Cindy had a scandalous affair with David, cheating on current partner Ian Beale back when they were married.

The similarities to Cindy's current secret fling with Junior Knight are striking! Not only does Cindy know that David's presence is bound to rile Ian, there's the small matter that David is still under the impression that Cindy died in prison.

Slipping away to see her ex George Knight, Cindy tells him all about David and he advises her to front it out as soon as possible.

David is left in shock when he sees the ghost of times past Cindy standing alive and well in front of him!

Denise Fox returns home after hearing the news about Pastor Clayton, wanting to offer her support to Yolande Trueman.

Yolande is grateful to have Denise to confide in, going through the terrible guilt she was holding onto after the Pastor's sexual assault and regretting her decision not to open up about it right from the start.

With Yolande's words about the importance of honesty and truth ringing in her ears, Denise feels overwhelmed about her own lies and begins to allude to covering up the real truth about the club crush.

Realising that she can't go on keeping her daughter Chelsea Fox's terrible secret about being the one to blame for the crush and not her ex Jack Branning's daughter Penny Branning,

Denise steels herself to tell Jack the truth...

Also, Kat Slater tells her sons that their dad Alfie Moon has got the manager's job at the Minute Mart.


Tuesday

David Wicks is stunned to see Cindy Beale

David Wicks is still in complete shock after seeing ex-lover Cindy Beale standing in front of him!

Cindy went to jail in 1998 for hiring a hitman to kill then husband Ian Beale so that she could run away with David.

After Cindy was banged up, everyone was told she'd died giving birth to he new lover Nick Holland's daughter. In fact, Cindy was whisked into witness protection after grassing on a fellow inmate with a dangerous connection and had taken on a false identity.

David has questions and he and Cindy catch up on the past two decades since they saw each other last. Predictably, when Ian finds out his former love rival David is around, he's horrified!

Determined to prove his love for Cindy, Ian tells her daughter Anna Knight that he has a surprise for her later...

Is Ian about to propose?

Tommy Moon has caught on to the fact that mum Kat Slater and dad Alfie Moon are struggling for money. Although Alfie's now bagged himself a job at the Minute Mart, he was out of work for a short time after losing his job in the betting shop.

Plotting to 'help' the family, Tommy comes up with a scheme to steal from the cafe but he's caught by a furious Kathy Beale.

Storming round to the Slaters, Kathy tells Kat that she needs to sort out her son before he goes even more off the rails.

Dreading having to confront the teen after Kat's previous attempts to reprimand Tommy have prompted him to get violent, Kat tries to have words in a calm manner.

Her approach backfires and only riles Tommy more, who then physically intimidates her.

Jack Branning is struggling to look after the house and his kids with teen daughter Amy Mitchell still so compromised following the crush at the club that saw Amy get seriously injured.

When his eldest daughter Penny Branning suggests that she look after Amy for a bit Jack reluctantly agrees. He still blames her for mismanaging the number of the punter at the night when she was still manager, leading to the terrifying crush.

Jack later pops in to see how the girls' are doing and is relieved that Amy seems in a much better mood.

A tactless comment causes trouble, however, and he and Penny are back to square one after a massive row.


Wednesday

Jack Branning makes a touching speech about Denise Fox

Jack Branning has had a tough time of things recently following his split with wife Denise Fox, as he tries to cope with looking after his kids, including a seriously injured Amy Mitchell.

When Denise finds out that Jack has completely fallen out with eldest daughter Penny Branning for her part in the club crush that injured Amy, she's determined to get them back on track.

Inviting the pair to Denzel Danes' 16th birthday party, Denise hopes that they'll call a truce. Later that evening with the family gathered together, Jack makes a big speech...

Turning to Denise, he tells his wife how grateful he is for everything she's done to support him and his family and in a moving speech he calls her amazing!

It's clear to everyone that Jack is still in love with his wife but can they find a way back to each other or will Denise's secrets drive them apart?

Jay Brown is celebrating his 30th birthday party and he's touched to listen to a specially pre-recorded greeting from his late wife Lola Pearce-Brown, who died from a brain tumour.

There's a lovely moment as he shows the video message to Kat Slater and Phil Mitchell, but the mood is shattered by Kat's son Tommy Moon making a racket.

When Kat tells the teen to pipe down, everyone is shocked by Tommy's vicious response, especially Tommy's ex-stepdad Phil Mitchell.

Kat later tries to talk to her son again about stealing from the cafe and when he makes to storm off, she grabs his arm, leading to frightening consequences...

Bianca Jackson has been on a one-woman mission to get the truth out of Reiss Colwell about what really happened to his comatose wife Debbie Colwell!

Although she's bang on the money that Reiss smothered Debbie and let Bianca's sister Sonia Fowler take the blame, everyone thinks butter wouldn't melt with Reiss and Bianca is delusional!

With Bianca's mental health already under scrutiny as Reiss was told by Sonia that she's been suffering from depression, it hasn't taken much for some people close to Bianca to think her theory about Reiss is the product of a mental breakdown.

Now that Bianca has her dad David Wicks in the Square to talk to, will she open up to him?

Junior Knight opens up to his dad George Knight

Junior Knight has got himself in a right pickle with his most recent romantic entanglement Cindy Beale!

He's always regarded himself as a bit of a player and strung along multiple women over the years. A serial cheater throughout his marriage, Junior's estranged wife Monique Knight finally kicked him into touch and called an end to their marriage.

When Cindy came onto Junior's radar, part of him liked the thrill of being with such a dangerous lover.

Not only was she with partner Ian Beale, she was also the ex-wife of his own dad George Knight!

Junior has finally met his match in Cindy, who ALWAYS calls the shots when it comes to affairs and she's got him right where she wants him...

When George senses that Junior is carrying a burden, he encourages him to open up.

Admitting that he's starting to fall for his mystery woman, Junior goes as far to say that he's having feelings for his secret fling and he thinks she feels the same way.

Will George guess who Junior is talking about or is the truth too shocking?

Meanwhile, Cindy feels stuck in the middle as not only is she having to keep her affair secret from Ian Beale, her old lover David Wicks is back in the mix!

EastEnders has teased tense scenes between Kat Slater and Tommy Moon next week.

This summer, the soap started exploring a child-to-parent abuse storyline involving Tommy and Kat.

Tommy's behaviour has continued to worsen, and in July he punched his mum in the stomach before calling the police when she fought back.

Only Alfie knows the true extent of what has been going on, after Kat confided in him and showed him her bruises from the incident.

Since Kat went away with the twins for several weeks, Alfie is confident that he has managed to get Tommy under control ? but the situation is far from over.

The Walford teen continues to spiral out of control in this week's episodes, and Alfie loses his job at the bookies when he attempts to reach out to his son.

In scenes that will air next week, there is some good news for the family, as Kat tells the boys that Alfie has got the job of manager at the Minute Mart.

But in the meantime, the Moons are currently struggling for money, and Tommy wants to help. He plans to steal from the caf?, but he is caught by Kathy.

Kathy pays Kat a visit to tell her what Tommy did, and she suggests that Kat should speak to her son about his behaviour.

This isn?t the first time Tommy has been caught stealing this year, but when Kat tries to talk to him, he turns aggressive and physically intimidates her.

Later in the week, Jay is celebrating his 30th birthday and has received another video message from his late wife Lola to mark the big day.

He shows Kat and Phil the special video, but Tommy ends up ruining the mood. When Kat tells him to stop making such a racket, he is vicious towards his mum ? leaving Phil stunned.

Later, Kat tries again to talk to her son about his stealing from the caf?, but the conversation goes wrong once more.

The situation gets more intense when Tommy tries to leave, and Kat grabs him. What will happen next in this dramatic confrontation?

Later, David gets a blast from the past when he sees Cindy standing in front of him.

Meanwhile, Bianca's behaviour causes more concern.

Elsewhere, Denise returns to support Yolande following the news about Pastor Clayton. When Yolande discusses the importance of honesty, Denise vaguely mentions her lies over the club crush. Feeling guilty, Denise prepares to tell Jack the truth about what happened.

Also today, Kat tells the boys that Alfie secured the manager's job at the Minute Mart.

Finally, Ian admits to Peter and Lauren that he fumbled his attempt to propose to Cindy.
