DS article following the promo mentioned in the previous post:

Home and Away hints Alf Stewart could be killed off
"Alf's life is in Bree's hands..."

Home and Away spoilers follow for Australian-paced episodes, which some UK viewers may prefer to avoid.

Home and Away has worried fans after hinting that Alf Stewart might be killed off in an upcoming plot.

In a promo video posted on Instagram, the Australian soap teased a dramatic health scare for the iconic character. "Alf's life is in Bree's hands..." read the caption.

The clip showed a heart-warming montage of Alf with his loved ones, as the narrator explained: "He's always been the heart of the Bay."

The video quickly took a dark turn as breathless Alf clutched his chest and fell to the ground. "But it's his heart that will send shockwaves through the Bay," the narrator continued.

With the beloved character in hospital, it was revealed that Bree Cameron will be the one in charge of his recovery. However, with the doctor still struggling after Felicity Newman's death, will she be able to save Alf?

The promo video suggested trouble ahead as Bree stood, frozen, watching Alf deteriorate.

Meanwhile, fans in the comments were distraught at the possibility of Alf dying. Some vowed to stop watching the show if he was killed off.

"This can't be happening. I will never watch again," one wrote. "If Alf dies because of Bree's incompetence I won't watch ever again," agreed a second.

Other viewers seemed unfazed by the upcoming ordeal, pointing out that Alf has survived plenty of hardships during his 36 years on the show. "Nothing will kill Alf off. He's had every illness known to man and been in car crashes, plane crashes, bush fires, explosions, you name it," one wrote.

Another added: "Mr Stewart will be fine, I'm sure he's the heart of Summer Bay. He's had lots of heart attacks and always come out fine."

Home and Away airs weekdays at 1.45pm on Channel 5, with repeat screenings at 6pm on 5STAR and first look screenings at 6.30pm on 5STAR. Selected classic episodes are available via Prime Video in the UK.

In Australia, the show airs Mondays to Thursdays at 7pm on Channel 7 and streams on 7Plus.

Home and Away spoilers: Justin betrays Leah with Claudia
    Caught out!

    https://www.nowtolove.com.au/enterta...-with-claudia/

For an open, honest guy, Justin is starting to show some pretty sneaky behaviour. He's making excuses to get away from his friends, disappearing without explanation and coming up with see-through explanations when asked what he's up to?... and for Theo, that's enough to get him worried.

He knows Justin (James Stewart) and his aunt Leah (Ada Nicodemou) have been going through a rough patch recently, but could it be that another woman is the reason?

And could that woman be Claudia (Rachael Carpani) who crashed ? literally ? into the Bay when her car's brakes failed and has been hanging around the garage ever since?

When Justin lies about seeing Claudia, despite Theo (Matt Evans) seeing the pair together himself, his worries grow. Justin says it's nothing to be concerned about? and nothing Leah needs to know!

"Justin feels terrible [about lying], but it makes him stick to his plan even harder," James, 49, tells TV WEEK.

But while Justin might think he's just helping someone in need, Claudia could have other plans, showing up at the garage again with yet another problem she wants him to solve.

Will Justin's good intentions land him in the worst kind of trouble he can imagine?

And when Leah finds Claudia's cardigan at the garage, is there anything he can say that will convince her he's the same faithful husband he always swore he'd be?

"Leah has no idea what Justin is doing behind her back, but she doesn't like or trust Claudia," Ada, 47, tells TV WEEK.

    'You Need Help'
Remi Begs Bree to Seek Advice

Losing a patient is never easy for a doctor. But when that doctor is Bree and the patient is her best friend Felicity, it's enough to send her spiralling.

Remi (Adam Rowland) knows something is very wrong when he comes home to find Bree (Juliet Godwin) cleaning her already spotless house after yet another row with nurse Dana (Ally Harris). And when he offers to help, she explodes.

He knows she's doing it tough, he says, but she has to move on. And if she can't do it by herself, then maybe it's time she gets the professional help she so clearly needs.

It's all said with love, but Bree's not in the right space to hear good advice.

"Bree doesn't want to get help because she's scared her counsellor will have to report her to the hospital," Juliet explains to TV WEEK.

Home And Away airs Monday to Thursday, 7pm, Channel Seven

    TV WEEK articles:

    "Alf in strife!
Is this the end for a Summer Bay favourite?

Standing outside the Surf Club watching the waves and savouring the warmth of the sun, all is perfect in Alf Stewart's world - perfect that is, until he's gripped by crippling chest pains and he collapses!

Alf (Ray Meagher) has already felt what he dismissed as "a small niggle" of pain earlier in the week, but despite having a history of heart issues, hadn't been to a doctor for a check-up.

"He's had ticker problems before, so Alf wouldn't have been filled with joy when he feels a bit of a twinge," Ray, 80, tells TV WEEK. "But then that becomes a bit more than a twinge and down he goes."

Perri (Cantona Stewart), Tane (Ethan Browne) and Harper (Jessica Redmayne) rush to call an ambulance to speed Alf to hospital, but when he gets there, he's still not safe.

Alf is entrusted to the care of Doctor Bree (Juliet Godwin). But ever since Felicity's (Jacqui Purvis) death from an aneurysm, she's started to doubt herself, and when it comes time to give Alf the medication that could save him, she freezes.

"Bree doubts her ability to make the correct decision under pressure," Juliet says. "She's lost in a loop of thoughts and she weighs up her options."

Will Bree be able to make the right decision in time? Or is this the end for a Summer Bay legend? "

    Also:

    "Cash Goes All Out
Will He Find Flick's Organ Recipient?

Cash still can't believe he's lost his sister Felicity. So when he discovers a transplant patient who received a new heart and lungs - the organs Felicity donated - just hours after her life-support was turned off, he's convinced he's found a way to still be close to her.

Tane tells him reaching out to the stranger is a bad idea, that it's time to let Felicity go. But Cash (Nicholas Cartwright) is determined.

"Cash feels like meeting the donor recipient might give him closure and make some sense out of a very dark time," Nicholas tells TV WEEK.

Matters come to a head when Cash makes contact with the woman whose life the transplant saved and she agrees to meet him.

However, the impending rendezvous with her is enough to set off a panic attack and make Cash worry that he perhaps hasn't made the best choice. But the stranger is already on her way and there's no way he can back out of meeting her face-to-face now. "

    And:

    " 'Don't cross me'
Perri's menacing dad shows up in the Bay

Freed after being found not guilty of assaulting his son Perri, Carl has returned to Summer Bay. But when Alf unwittingly tells him where to find the teenager, it leads to a confrontation that could rip the Bay apart.

Carl (Matthew Holmes) warns Perri that unless he comes home, he'll take out his anger not only on him, but Tane - whose been a protective mentor to the troubled youngster - too.

"To have a real threat appear out of the blue and challenge his happy, growing life is devastating for Perri," Cantona tells TV WEEK.

"After having to handle a childhood filled with physical and mental abuse, he's terrified of his father and his presence is unsettling."

"We'll be in touch," Carl warns as he leaves, leaving Perri with a dilemma.

The young man heads straight home to let Tane know what's happened and to warn him of the threat they all face, But when he gets there, he finds Tane making plans to be the best parent he can be for the baby he's about to have with Harper.

For the first time in his life, Perri can see how a father-and-child relationship should be, and even if it's not his life, he can't bring himself to put that in danger. But what can he do?

The Bay was safer before he ever arrived, Perri thinks, but leaving won't solve anything. Carl is a problem he'll have to deal with himself...if only he can figure out how. "
