Emmerdale's ongoing blackmail mystery takes a shocking turn next week as Kim Tate is kidnapped.

The sly individual who has been targeting Will Taylor takes drastic action by abducting Kim and leaving sinister clues to her whereabouts.

Will's unknown enemy is currently demanding cash in return for staying quiet about him cheating on Kim with his ex-wife Rose Jackson.

Next week, the blackmailer raises the stakes as a punishment for Will. This is because Will missed his first chance to drop the cash when he was distracted by the terrible fire at Moira Dingle's barn.

Will's nemesis now wants an increased payment of ?50,000 to settle the matter once and for all. Feeling desperate to make up the shortfall, Will asks his rival Caleb Miligan for a loan in return for his shares in the haulage business.

Feeling hopeful once he has Caleb's cash payment of ?40,000, Will texts the blackmailer to let them know that he has managed to get the full amount together.

Will is also forced to tell his business partner Jimmy King about the deal with Caleb. Jimmy sees Will's actions as a major betrayal, sparking yet another row between them.

Once Will returns to Home Farm, he's concerned to find Kim missing. The blackmailer calls Will, announcing that Kim has been abducted.

Will follows instructions from the mystery villain and arrives in a woodland area, hoping to save his wife.

The first thing Will spots is a creepy mannequin dressed like Kim, which goads him further into the woods.

Is Will walking into danger, and will Kim be returned safely?

Emmerdale airs these scenes on Thursday, September 19.

Monday

Emmerdale is a village in torment

The village was swarming with firefighters, paramedics and police, last week, as the emergency services responded to the blaze at Butler's.

Did Moira survive the fire she accidentally started when her undiagnosed illness clouded her judgement and left her thinking Ruby was her dead sister-in-law Emma?

Did Ruby make it through the ordeal?

Now, at the hospital, as the Dingles gather and cling together in support, what horror are they facing as a family?

Elsewhere, Amy and Kerry worry about Amelia who's got herself involved with Tom King and thinks he's the best a man can get.

Kerry is worried about Amelia who's started seeing Tom King.

Amy's also concerned. Can the mum and daughter work out how best to approach Amelia?

Naive teen Amelia has started seeing Tom King and is unwilling to believe anything bad about him

Abuser Tom King has seduced Amelia and convinced the teenager he's a decent man and that Belle is not to be believed

Tuesday

Will Emmerdale's Amelia open up about Tom

Now that Belle Dingle has spoken out about what Tom King put her through, the family are raging and would happily tear the abusive vet limb from limb.

But Belle won't let them near him ? nor will she go to the police to report him.

How will the villagers handle the matter once they've found out what Tom's been doing to beloved Dingle, Belle?

Belle recently told Charity that Tom has been abusing her since before they got married.

Tom was violent to Belle and tried to control her and to isolate her from her friends and family

Will anyone stand by Tom? Will his uncle Jimmy support his orphaned nephew or will he spurn him?

And what will Amelia have to say about the older man she's been dating?

As Amy probes in a bid to get the teen talking will Amelia open up?

Elsewhere, Mandy receives a surprise invitation?


Wednesday

Emmerdale's Will Taylor needs money

Will Taylor is up to his neck in it with his blackmailer who's demanding money to keep quiet about his fling with his ex, Rose.

With his marriage hanging by a thread already, Will needs to keep Kim in the dark about his betrayal and is at his tormentor's mercy.

Will slept with his ex Rose and is desperate to make sure Kim never finds out.

Having failed to hand over the money last week, when he was called to help out with the fire at Butler's, Will is being told to stump up more cash to appease his furious blackmailer.

Now needing to stump up 50K, desperate Will turns to Caleb and asks for a loan in exchange for his shares in the haulage firm.

To his relief, Caleb agrees.

Feeling as if a weight has been lifted, Will's all smiles when he returns to home to Kim.

But his good mood is ruined when he's told to cough up the money immediately?

Elsewhere, Jai's floundering in the face of Arthur's disdain.

Disgusted by his former stepdad's treatment of his mum, protective Arthur has made it clear that he hates Jai and won't tolerate any more of his nastiness.

Jai is trying to repair his relationship with Arthur who now hates him because of what he's done to Laurel.

Jai's boosted when Charles, whose son Ethan died in June urges him to do whatever it takes to maintain a relationship with the lad. But Jai's efforts fall flat.

Arthur stands firm, determined to keep Jai at arm's length.

Will Jai ever be able to repair the bonds he's broken with his stepson?



Thursday

Emmerdale's Will Taylor sets out to save Kim who has been kidnapped But who's pulling the strings?

Having been given the money by Caleb, Will Taylor has everything his blackmailer requires. Or so he thinks.

Poised to hand over the cash and be done with the whole messy stressy business, Will does the decent thing and tells his business partner Jimmy he's sold his shares to Caleb.

Jimmy's furious but Will's laser focused on the job in hand. He hasn't got time to listen to Jimmy and instead heads home where Kim is preparing lunch.

But when Will turns up at Home Farm there's no sign of his wife and the food is all burned.

As his mind starts whirring, worried about what might have become of Kim seeing as he's an enemy on his case, Will's put out of his misery when he receives a call from his blackmailer to say they've kidnapped his wife!

Panicking, Will obeys as he's given instructions to come to a remote woodland with the cash.

As he starts running into the trees, to his horror, Will spots Kim lying on the woodland floor.

Will is horrified when he arrives at a woodland, on his blackmailer's instructions, and spots his kidnapped wife Kim lying on the ground

But as he rushes over to tend to his wife, he's sickened and spooked to discover it's a mannequin dressed in Kim's clothes!

More instructions eerily follow, taking spooked Will deeper into the forest?

Will he find Kim? Is she alive? And just who is this devious blackmailer?

At Holdgate, Dawn's found a bunch of money and wants an explanation from her husband Billy.

Thinking on his feet, Billy manages to placate his wife, telling Dawn it's money for a savings account and was meant to be a surprise.

Later, when Dawn's back is turned, Billy makes a shifty phone call asking for more 'work'.

What's he up to?

At the cafe, Ryan tries to convince Gail to move in with him after finding out she's looking for a new place to live.


Friday

Emmerdale's Lydia Dingle clashes with Jimmy about Tom

Now that Belle Dingle has told her family that her husband Tom King has been abusing her there's no turning back.

The sickening truth has seeped out into the rest of the village leaving Tom's once tiptop reputation in tatters.

Belle's family are in bits about what Tom's put her through and hate themselves for not having seen the signs and saved her from his violence, surveillance, lies and icy control.

The Kings were stunned when they heard what's being said about Tom.

Feeling responsible for his nephew, whose parents are both dead, Jimmy's been there for Tom.

In the cafe, Lydia can't help herself when she runs into Jimmy. Giving it to him both barrels, Lydia, vents her disdain for Tom.

But in the face of such public venom, will Jimmy put up much of a fight for his nephew?

Elsewhere, while Laurel's concerns grow, Arthur's good mood doesn't last long.

Meanwhile, Dawn confronts Billy about the money she found. Brushing it off as savings for a surprise, Billy is forgiven. But when Dawn goes back upstairs, shifty Billy calls someone to ask for more work.

Elsewhere, Ryan is gutted to hear that Gail is keen to find a new place but wants to live alone. Will he be able to convince her to move in with him?
