Casualty has confirmed a double episode for the dramatic season finale.

The BBC soap is due to wrap up its current set of episodes ? titled ?Storm Damage? ? next Saturday (September 7), and it seems things may come to a head for Siobhan.

In the first episode, called ?The Truth Will Set You Free?, Siobhan?s ?personal and work woes intertwine? and reach a ?boiling point?, according to the synopsis, ?whilst Nicole?s motherhood looms and Cam?s fresh start pushes him further into the past?.

The following episode ?Freedom? sees the ED go into lockdown, as ?Cam tries to free himself of the past, whilst Jacob takes matters into his own hands and Dylan makes peace with his feelings?.

Viewers will know that Siobhan?s husband Rich has been having an affair with her colleague Stevie, a twist reveal that came after Stevie struck up a bond with Rich, Siobhan unknowingly encouraging it initially.

Opening up about the the prospect of the liaison being revealed, star Melanie Hill recently explained to Digital Spy: "It'll not only be a betrayal of her husband Rich, but the double betrayal of her close colleague and friend.

?In the ED you have to trust each other and there's a camaraderie, as you're working on life and death situations together.

"[Siobhan and Stevie] have formed a bond recently, which will make the reveal more horrifying. Stevie's a lot younger than Siobhan so it's the age difference as well, and she is not feeling very confident in herself at the moment."

Addressing the Cam storyline, in which the nurse is coming to terms with the fact that he was sexually abused by his former mentor Jamie as a child, Melanie stressed the importance of depicting difficult topics.

"I enjoy playing these emotional threads," she said. "And that's why Casualty is so important. It is a family show, and it's important that these stories get told."

Teasing Siobhan's future in general, Melanie added: "It won't end well. It'll get much, much worse before it gets better. But I'm still filming, I haven't been bumped off!"

Next Saturday (September 7), Casualty is set to air a double episode to mark the conclusion of the current series 'Storm Damage' ? with episodes at 8.25pm and 9.15pm.

In the dramatic instalments, Siobhan faces turmoil in both her professional and personal lives, while Cam confronts his past once again and Nicole gets a shock as motherhood approaches.

Here is a full round-up of the biggest stories coming up in the exciting series finale:

1. Ngozi is rejected

Ngozi's worried that Nicole is doing too much in the later stages of her pregnancy and wants her to have a stress-free birth. She offers to be her birthing partner, but Nicole doesn't think this is a good idea, considering their recent kiss.

The pair work as a good team treating a patient together, but Ngozi's devastated to later find out that Nicole has asked her mum to be her birthing partner, not her.

2. Siobhan is hurt

Siobhan is under pressure at work, as a nearby protest has led to lots of injured patients arriving at the Emergency Department. But she's also received a text from Rich, which she realises he was meant to send to another woman.

As Siobhan shows Stevie the mistaken text, Rich arrives at the ED with an injured colleague, and she gets more suspicious.

3. Nicole's waters break

Nicole finds out that Tariq isn't doing the trauma course and she offers to help him brush up on his skills, suggesting the empty trauma lab for them to use.

Later, Nicole heads down to the lab by herself, but she suddenly doubles up in pain and her waters break, just as Tariq arrives. Will Nicole and the baby be okay?

4. Cam is on edge

It is the day of Jamie's funeral, and at work, Cam is worried that Bobby might show up for the occasion.

He's soon distracted from his concerns while he treats an elderly woman ? but as Cam does his job, Bobby is lingering outside.

5. Stevie is conflicted

Siobhan confronts Rich about the text and he's confused, but Siobhan's now convinced that he's seeing another woman. She discusses her suspicions with Stevie, who tries to put her off.

She believes that Rich's colleague is the other woman, but Stevie finds out that all is not what it seems. What will she decide to do?

6. Faith struggles

Following Luka's attack on another pupil, Faith is told that the school liaison officer wants to suspend him, as the police investigation continues.

She's later forced to bring Luka to work and is struggling to balance her work life and her personal life.

7. Iain and Teddy are in danger

Iain and Teddy are tasked with transferring teenager Hayah to hospital ? a well-known campaigner who was burnt in a protest and was stretchered off in a military helicopter.

The army is under orders to get Hayah to the ED as quickly as possible, but while Iain and Teddy are taking her in the ambulance, their vehicle is run off the road. Will they all be okay?

8. Bobby wants answers

Cam discovers Bobby and realises he needs medical attention. He needs answers and wants to know what Jamie's last words were. Will Cam be able to escape his past?

9. Jacob fears for Blake

Jacob finds out that Blake's mental health appointment has been cancelled, and becomes even more determined to get his son the help he desperately needs.

He takes Blake to see Carter, and Jacob's surprised when he holds his son and doesn't want to give him back. But Blake has another demand that puts Jacob in a difficult position.

10. The ED is on lockdown

A major threat to the Emergency Department means the hospital is locked down immediately, with no-one allowed to enter or leave. How will this terrifying situation be resolved?

11. Dylan considers his feelings

Dylan finds out that Sophia's leaving do is taking place that evening and is disappointed that he didn't get an invite after their failed date. He confronts her about it and is left to ponder his feelings. Will Dylan decide to give love a chance?
