Emmerdale has confirmed full details of the dramatic barn fire that will cause chaos in the Dales next week.

In recent weeks, viewers have seen Moira Dingle behaving erratically and fighting with her family before suffering a seizure.

This week, Moira?s worrying behaviour will continue, and she will have an affectionate moment with Cain?s son Nate ? who she previously had an affair with.

While Nate will be horrified by the incident, Moira will be confused as to what the problem is. But to make matters worse, Caleb will oversee the whole situation.

In scenes that will air next week, Caleb tells Cain about Moira?s ?kiss? with Nate and he is taken aback. Moira plays down what happened, and she is angry at her husband?s shocked reaction.

Cain storms out to track down Nate, and he demands an explanation from his son. When he returns home in a rage, Moira realises he has attacked Nate.

This time Moira is furious, and intriguingly, she begins to experience d?j? vu. Feeling stressed and shocked in equal measure, she slaps Cain.

Later, Ruby heads to the barn to gloat at Moira amid her struggles, but she starts to feel sorry for her when she doesn?t respond to her insults.

Moira gets more stressed and pours tractor fuel in the barn. In a twist, Ruby?s voice begins to blue with that of her old nemesis Emma Barton, and Ruby is freaked out when she raises a shotgun in the air.

Moira locks the barn and fires a warning shot, continuing to see Emma instead of Ruby. It hits a lightbulb and a spark takes hold, waiting to catch on the fuel covered barn.

The two women fight for the shotgun and Ruby receives a blow to the head. It is then that Moira snaps out of her daze and is confused about everything that has just happened.

It isn?t long before the barn becomes ablaze, and helpless Moira is unable to move, next to Ruby who lies motionless.

Meanwhile, Mack sees smoke coming from the barn and heads down when he is unable to get in touch with his sister. He and John are worried, so both go inside to help.

Cain, Caleb and Chas are also told about the fire and head to the scene. Cain is still angry with Moira, but he is still desperate to help his wife, as Chas tries to hold him back.

Several characters remain trapped in the burning barn when there is a huge explosion that throws everyone to the ground. Will everyone survive this dramatic incident?

Monday

Moira's undiagnosed illness puts lives on the line when she starts hallucinating.

After a row with Cain, who's heard from Caleb about her 'kiss' with Nate, Moira's trying to focus on work and forget she's slapped her husband round the mush.

She's seething that he'd dare to accuse her of reigniting her regretful fling with Nate and is utterly disgusted to hear he's attacked him.

As for Nate, his chance at a fresh start in Shetland with Tracy and their daughter Frankie is now on the line following his dad's cheating accusations.

But Cain's at a loss with his wife whose behaviour and reactions have changed so much lately that an affair seems plausible.

Up at the barn, Moira's trying to go about her business when her sister-in-law Ruby comes up to gloat.

Having recently been accused by Moira of flirting with Cain, Ruby's loving seeing that the farmer is now in the dog house.

But as Ruby goes in on Moira, she's taken aback when she fails to get a rise out of her.

It's clear to Ruby that something is wrong with Moira who starts spilling oil everywhere, seemingly in a daze.

Is the farmer about to have another of her secret seizures?

Moira, on the other hand, has no idea what is going on but as she looks at Ruby, she starts seeing the face of Emma Barton, her former nemesis who she killed years ago.

Fully believing Emma is standing in front of her, Moira locks the barn doors, grabs a gun and fires a warning shot which hits a lightbulb, smashing it.

Panicking, Ruby launches herself at Moira and tries to take the weapon from her but gets knocked out in the process!

As Moira snaps out of her haze, to her horror, Ruby is out cold and a fire has started and is quickly becoming a blaze?

Will either of the women get out alive?


Wednesday

Having seen smoke billowing out of the barn at Butler's, Mack tries to reach Moira to find out what's going on.

Failing to get an answer from his farmer sister, panicked Mack calls his brother-in-law Cain before jumping on a quad bike and racing to the scene with farmhand John.

Horrified by the sight of the building which is ablaze, Mack and John decide they're going in? Will they find Moira and Ruby inside? Are the women alive?

Meanwhile, Cain and Chas career in to the farm and leap out of the car.

As Cain runs towards the building, terrified about his wife, Chas tries to stop her brother.

But an explosion does that for Chas, throwing them all to the ground?

Will anyone survive the horror?

Will is also alerted to the scene, meaning he misses out on a scheduled meet and money-drop with his blackmailer who's going to show him they're far from happy to have been stood up?


Thursday

As the horror continues at Butler's Farm where an explosion has erupted and a fire is raging, the emergency services arrive on the scene.

Watching on in terror with the other villagers, Matty Barton has no idea if his farmer mum Moira is alive or dead and is struggling to process the nightmare that is unfolding in front of his eyes.

Having caused the fire that trapped her and Ruby inside, has Moira perished in it? Have Mack and John, who bravely entered the burning building, survived?

Were Chas and Cain injured when the explosion threw them to the ground?

Will the firefighters manage to save anyone from the burning wreckage of the barn?


Friday

So far Will Taylor has been dealing with the threats from his anonymous blackmailer who is threatening to tell his wife Kim that he cheated on her with Rose.

But when Kim reports that her horse has been stolen, Will panics.

Realising his tormentor must be behind the theft he has no idea how to tackle it.

Is it time to come clean to Kim?

Will she call the police about her beloved nag's disappearance?

If he bottles it, can Will come up with a story that could serve to explain why Ice has been stolen?

Will Taylor is in despair.

Meanwhile, as the aftermath of the horrific fire continues, there's good news for Victoria?

And elsewhere, Amelia ? who's now in a relationship with abusive Tom King ? accosts Belle?

Has master manipulator Tom done a number on the naive young mum who is refusing to believe anything bad about the vet?

Arriving in the barn to gloat, Ruby becomes slightly sorry for Moira when she's unresponsive to the jibes.

As stressed Moira spills tractor fuel in the barn, Ruby's voice begins to blur with her old nemesis Emma Barton's and an unrecognisable Moira raises her shotgun at a freaked-out Ruby.

Soon padlocking the barn, stressed Moira continues to see Emma instead of Ruby. She fires a warning shot into the air, frightening Ruby. The shot hits a light bulb, causing a spark to take hold.

A tussle for the shotgun ends with Moira hurting Ruby with a blow to the head. Hazy and shaken as she comes out of her daze, Moira is soon confused. The spark catches the tractor fuel and quickly becomes a blaze as Moira freezes, helpless next to Ruby's body.

Meanwhile, Will is on edge to hear from the blackmailer and determined to find out who he's dealing with as he prepares to meet his fate.

Elsewhere, Cain arrives and is fuming to hear of Nate's betrayal, but as Nate tries to explain, Cain snaps and punches him to the floor. Soon consumed by rage, Cain rains punches down on Nate. Pleaded by Tracy he eventually stops, and despite Nate's continued emotional denial, Cain walks out, disowning his son.

The next episode of Emmerdale airs on Wednesday, September 11.

Cain, despite his current anger with his wife, races to the burning barn and panicking Chas tries to hold him back from dashing inside to get to his wife.

Exchanging a worried look when they meet at the barn, Mack and John both make to go inside.

Before long a huge explosion rips through the barn.

I think it's Caleb or Ruby or both, blackmailing Will. They want the haulage business and money for their new developement. Caleb already demanding more money from Jai. Ruby would have been told by Rose that Will slept with her, so she's probably responsible for the emails Will is getting.
