Sharon Watts fears it's all over for The Six when a massive incident occurs during Dean Wicks' trial

Sharon Watts knows she needs to hold her nerve on the day of Dean Wicks' trial.

Called as a witness, every nuance of what she says could tip the trial either in favour of The Six or put them all in jeopardy.

After cooking up a scheme to pin Keanu Taylor's murder on rapist Dean to protect real killer Linda Carter, Sharon and her co-conspirators have been fighting fires, dealing with alcoholic Linda falling off the wagon and Keanu's sister Bernie Taylor playing amateur detective to get to the bottom of his death.

When Bernie accosts Sharon in the Square and accuses her of being Keanu's killer, Sharon insists she's innocent of the crime and just wants to bring his murderer to justice.

Having a wobble about missing out on taking her son Albie for his first day at school, Sharon starts to mither about the trial and an already agitated Linda becomes even more rattled.

Albie's dad Phil does his best to reassure the women and Sharon asks Suki Panesar and Kathy Beale to support Linda before she's due to take the stand.

In the courtroom, a nervous Sharon swears her oath as the Six - Suki Panesar, Kathy Beale, Denise Fox, Stacey Slater and Linda Carter - watch on.

Despite her best poker face, the barrage of questions from Dean's brief gets under Sharon's skin. When her past is brought up, a situation escalates and Sharon and the women realise that it could have huge repercussions...

Completely freaked by the chaos, Linda's so terrified of taking the stand with her lie that she saw Dean carrying a body-shaped bundle into the cafe on Christmas night, that she bolts from the court!

Linda's statement is the key evidence against Dean. Without her, is the case against him about to collapse?

Meanwhile, Stacey Slater is so on edge about giving a witness statement at Dean's trial that it's caused trouble between herself and daughter Lily Slater.

The pair have a massive run in and Stacey feels terrible when Mo points out that she's let Lily down.

Stacey promised the teen mum she'd help plan a party for her baby Charli's first birthday but she's been too distracted to help her out.

Stacey Slater is forced to flee baby Charli's party

Stacey Slater is in a right two-and-eight following the dramatic events at Dean Wicks' trial!

The devious rapist has been framed by the six women involved in Keanu Taylor's death last Christmas. Now Dean's fighting to prove his innocence after they lied to pin the murder on him.

The shocking event that saw star witness alcoholic Linda Carter do a runner left The Six reeling and now they are barely holding it together.

Determined to find Linda and bring her back to the court, Johnny Carter and Phi Mitchell join forces to track her down.

When things fell apart in court, Stacey had to pull herself together for her daughter Lily Slater. Teen mum Lily is desperate to put on a good bash for her baby Charli's first birthday and needs Stacey to help.

Preoccupied by everything that's been going on, Stacey is devastated when she burns Charli's birthday cake, upsetting Lily.

Meanwhile, Eve Unwin has no idea what her fiancee Suki Panesar has got herself involved in and she rails her at her for deciding to skip Charli's party.

The Slaters gather for a karaoke bash but Stacey makes a shocking discovery that forces her to slip away from the celebrations...

Over at the Fox house, Kim Fox is worried about sister Denise Fox. On the alert for any hint that Denise is taking a turn for the worse similar to her psychotic break earlier in the year, she tries to lighten the mood.

On edge over the events at the trial, Denise snaps at Kim when she brings it up.

Denise is distracted by daughter Chelsea Fox when she finds her upset and she comforts her.

Sharon Watts and The Six are horrified when the murder trial takes another twist

Sharon Watts has been struggling to hold it together during Dean Wick's murder trial.

The businesswoman has been living a lie since the events of last Christmas, when Linda Carter killed Sharon's groom Keanu Taylor with a meat thermometer!

After conspiring with the other women who were also involved the event to blame rapist Dean Wicks' for the crime, Sharon and the others concocted a story.

Linda lied to the police that she saw Dean dragging what could have been a body into the cafe on that fateful night.

After star witness Linda did a runner from the trial, it threw everything into disarray and all six women realise they could be doomed.

A new update about the trial that has huge repercussions for the group and they're terrified about what will happen next.

Under pressure from recent events, one member of the group makes a very dangerous move that they could live to regret...

Chelsea Fox has been in bits ever since the horror crush incident at Peggy's nightclub.

Wanting to set up new manager Penny Branning to fail in revenge for her stealing her job, Chelsea fixed it so an event would be over capacity.

So fixated on getting back at Penny, Chelsea didn't even consider how dangerous it would be to have an overcrowded club and she was horrified when lives were put in danger.

So far, Chelsea's kept her own part in the incident to herself but the guilt has been eating her up and she calls round to see mum Denise Fox.

The Six fight for their freedom in the wake of events at Dean's trial

The Six have been hiding a deadly secret for eight long months ever since the fateful Christmas night where Keanu Taylor met his maker.

On the day of Keanu's wedding to Sharon Watts, before they could exchange vows Sharon discovered that Keanu had been behind her son Albie's fake kidnapping. Keanu was stunned when she blurted out that he wasn't Albie's dad, as his real father was Phil Mitchell.

After the ruined wedding, Sharon headed to the Queen Vic with Stacey Slater, Denise Fox, Kathy Beale, Suki Panesar and landlady Linda Carter.

All six women had been wronged by their men and they arranged a lock in to drown their sorrows.

When a raging Keanu turned up, determined to kill Sharon for her betrayal, Linda grabbed the meat thermometer that was lying nearby and stabbed Keanu to stop him strangling Sharon.

Vowing not to let Linda go down for the crime, taking her away from her children, the women made a pact to cover up the killing and they buried Keanu under the floor in the cafe.

When Keanu's body was recovered from under the broken concrete, all six thought that the end was nigh, until coming up with a genius plan.

They agreed to frame Dean Wicks' for Keanu's death, with the added bonus that it gives Linda a chance to get revenge on Dean for raping her and going unpunished.

Dean's murder trial has been a strain on all the women, but particularly Sharon Watts and Linda Carter, under pressure to maintain the lie.

As The Six continue to deal with the repercussions from the trial it's now a real fight for their freedom...

Later, after an eventful first day at court, Stacey tries to focus her efforts on the party. Still preoccupied, she accidentally burns the cake.

There are also tensions between Suki Panesar and Eve Unwin, as Eve expresses disappointment that Suki has bailed on attending Charli's party.

Oblivious to the latest drama engulfing The Six, Eve wrongly assumes that Suki is being uncaring.

Later, the Slaters gather for a karaoke party to celebrate Charli's birthday. Sadly, things go wrong again when Stacey is forced to leave early thanks to more Six-related chaos.

Lily gets upset over the various disappointments of the day, but she feels better when she receives a special gift celebrating her first year as a mum.
