Amy Mitchell's life is under threat along with the other teens when they gatecrash a party at Peggy's

Amy Mitchell normally has a fairly sensible head on her and these days isn't swayed by peer pressure. Ever since Amy survived mental health troubles where she self-harmed after being bullied, she's gone from strength to strength.

Troublesome teen Avani Nandra-Hart can be very persuasive, however, and when she finds out about a carnival-themed night at Peggy's, she talks Amy and hNugget Gulati into gatecrashing the event!

Penny Branning is stressing about the club night, as she's left everything to the last minute. She hangs around outside The Vic in a bid to flog some more tickets and hope she's done enough.

Still bitter and angry about Penny stealing her job from her, Chelsea Fox plots to sabotage the club night to show boss Phil Mitchell that she's not up to the job.

Getting into the online booking system, Chelsea makes more tickets available online, figuring that if the understaffed bar can't cope with the extra customers, Penny will lose the job.

After Amy, Avani and Gulati manage to get in, the bar starts to get dangerously overcrowded...

Cindy Beale has slipped away from her family to join secret lover Junior Knight in Peggy's. Cindy and Junior have been carrying on an affair right under the noses of the Beales and the Knights for several months.

With Cindy's other half Ian Beale away in the States, there have been plenty of opportunities for some clandestine hook-ups but Cindy is horrified when she sees Ian is back and he's walking into the club!

The couple quickly hide in the office to avoid being spotted by Ian and they give in to their passion.

Meanwhile, outside chaos is unfolding as the packed club starts to turn into a terrifying crush...

George Knight is stunned when Angela, the family friend of his birth parents, calls to say that his brothers have booked flights from Ghana.

Although desperate to know more about his birth family and meet his siblings, George is worried about seeing them for the first time.

Concerned that they will somehow lay some guilt at his door for their father Henry Asare's death, who died after a beating from his adoptive dad Eddie Knight and his racist mates, George is nervous about the meeting.

Trying to give their dad a boost, daughters Anna Knight and Gina Knight offer his some sound advice and he arranges to meet up with the brothers in The Vic.

Also, Jack Branning is sad when he hears from Kim Fox that estranged wife Denise Fox has started to finalise their divorce proceedings.

    Tuesday

George Knight puts a relationship with his long-lost family in jeopardy

George Knight is a bundle of nerves as he waits to meet his brothers Kojo and Kobina Asare.

Desperate to meet his birth family after finding out their details, an adopted George has been in contact with family friend Angela, who called to say that they were coming to the UK.

Brought up by adoptive parents Gloria and Eddie Knight in South London, George wasn't told anything about his parentage and he assumed his mystery birth mum and dad were Jamaican.

When the truth came out that George's real father hadn't abandoned him but was in fact beaten to death by Eddie and his racist mates, George was almost broken.

In a double blow he learned that his whole life had been a lie, as he wasn't Caribbean and parents Henry and Margaret Asare were from Ghana.

George witnessed Henry's murder as a young teen but, terrified, had stayed hidden, not knowing that the man who was being attacked was his real dad.

After the truth was unveiled when a historic murder charge was brought against Eddie and he was sent to prison, George assumed his Ghanian brothers knew all the details, including the fact that he was at the scene when Henry was killed.

Kojo and Kobina Asare arrive at The Queen Vic and an emotional George greets them. As they start to get to know each other, Kobina reveals that Kojo is autistic.

When George blurts out about witnessing their father's fatal attack, Kobina and Kojo are stunned and he realises that he may have put his foot in it.

Will the brothers' relationship be cut short before it's barely begun?

Penny Branning's feud with Chelsea Fox has terrifying consequences when there's a dangerous crush in Peggy's that puts lives in danger.

After Penny cruelly stole Chelsea's job as club manager from under her, a bitter Chelsea was determined to get revenge.

Illegally offering extra tickets for Penny's special event, Chelsea was hoping the bar staff would be overwhelmed, making Penny look incompetent. What she didn't bank on was so many people turning up that Peggy's became dangerously overcrowded.

Teenagers Nugget Gulati, Avani Nandra-Hart and Amy Mitchell have all snuck into the night and are soon caught in the dangerous crush.

As the terrible events unfold, Penny and Amy's dad Jack Branning rushes to the club and is horrified by what he finds...

Also, Bernie makes a massive slip up in her bid to discover the real killer of her brother Keanu Taylor when she drops her burner phone in the cafe.

    Wednesday

Chelsea Fox is terrified that she may face jail time after the horrorifying events at Peggy's

Chelsea Fox has had a tough time recently, derailing her recent progress. After the harrowing events that led up to husband Gray Atkins's arrest for a double murder, she slowly got herself back on track.

Determined to make her marital home somewhere she could be comfortable again, she found some brilliant housemates and won a great job as the manager of Peggy's.

Chelsea was dealt a huge blow when she discovered that Gray was putting the house up for sale and she had to move back in with mum Denise Fox and her family.

With best mate Whitney Dean now living away from the Square, Chelsea made a new friend in Penny Branning. Or so she thought...

A devious Penny cruelly stole her job from under her by setting her up in front of boss Phil Mitchell, then convincing him that she should have the job instead.

Desperate to get her job back, Chelsea sneakily fixed the club booking system to overcrowd the bar during Penny's event and make it look like she couldn't cope.

The club became dangerously overcrowded and it led to a terrifying incident where people were put in danger.

A police investigation is now underway to work out how the mistake happened and Chelsea is terrified as she's questioned.

Will she confess that she was the cause of the chaos or will she let Penny take the blame?

George Knight realises he needs to do a full disclosure after letting slip to birth brothers Kojo and Kobina Asare that he witnessed their father Henry's murder.

The pair have flown over from Ghana to meet George now that George's adoptive dad Eddie Knight has been sent down for the historic crime, where he fatally attacked Henry.

What they didn't know was that a teenage George was forced to hide in the boxing club while the attack was going on and he saw everything.

George is devastated when a shocked Kojo and Kobina walk out. His son Junior Knight encourages him to call Kobina to try and make things right with him.

An autistic Kojo flees to the cafe, overwhelmed by everything that's happened, and he ends up freaking out. Martin Fowler does his best to soothe Kojo and calls George to come and calm him down.

George and Kojo have a heartfelt conversation and George vows to win his brothers' trust and affection.

    Thursday

George Knight is determined not to lose his family all over again

George Knight has tried to do right by his birth brothers Kobina and Kojo Asare.

After meeting them for the first time, their newfound relationship was fractured when the brothers found out that George witnessed his adoptive father Eddie Knight beating to death his birth father Henry Asare.

The brothers stormed out of The Vic but George later rescued an autistic Kojo from the cafe after he became distressed.

After Kojo slept over at The Vic following an incident in the cafe where he became distressed, George's fiancee Elaine Peacock broaches the subject of Kojo's outburst with George, worried that he might get triggered again.

It seems Elaine is right to be concerned, as Kojo is clearly still in a bad state. Kobina turns up to collect his brother and he and George have it out about the circumstances surrounding Henry's murder.

George despairs when Kobina vehemently announces that he and Kojo are returning to Ghana right now.

Can he convince them not to go?

Denzel Danes is nervous ahead of his day in court for supplying steroids to his friend Nugget Gulati.

After an obsession with getting ripped following a bullying incident, teenager Denzel obtained steroids from the internet, using Yolande Trueman's credit card.

Jealous of Denzel's new physique, his mate Nugget Gulati wanted in on the steroids, completely ignoring the potential risks.

Sadly, Nugget was left with terrible consequences after taking the drugs, permanently damaging his kidneys.

Horrified by what happened, Denzel was forced to face the music when he was arrested.

Heading to court with support from dad Howie Danes and Howie's girlfriend Kim Fox, Denzel is relieved when he's given a suspended sentence and not a jail term.

Also, a skint Priya Nandra-Hart manages to talk Zack Hudson into giving her a trial shift at Walford East.

    Exclamation EastEnders Spoilers 26th - 29th August 2024

    https://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/eas...crush-chelsea/

EastEnders has confirmed that there will be a dangerous crowd crush at Peggy?s next week, with tragic consequences for Albert Square.

Last month, Chelsea was demoted from her managerial role at Peggy?s and Penny was quick to nab her job, leading to tension between the pair.

In scenes that will air next week, the Square is buzzing after the London carnival celebrations the previous weekend, but there is more partying to come in Walford.

Penny has organised a club night at Peggy?s, but it?s clear she hasn?t done enough preparation, as she tries to sell some last-minute tickets outside The Vic.

She has a frosty exchange with Chelsea at work, and it?s then that Chelsea decides to sabotage her new boss?s big night.

Chelsea messes with the booking system and makes more tickets available online, despite the event having almost reached capacity already.

Penny is unaware what Chelsea has done, so continues to bring in more customers, while Avani convinces Amy and Nugget to gatecrash the party.

Things quickly spiral out of control at Peggy?s and the night turns dangerous when the club becomes increasingly overcrowded.

Meanwhile, Junior asks Cindy to join him at Peggy?s, with the couple taking bigger risks as their affair continues.

But their betrayal threatens to be exposed when Ian arrives at the club, having returned from America where he has been trying to help Ben.

Desperate not to be spotted, Junior and Cindy hide out in the office where they soon get carried away ? unaware of what is unfolding outside.

With too many people inside the club, a dangerous crush intensifies, with Walford residents caught up in the chaos.

Elsewhere, Jack isn?t having a good day, with Kim letting him know that Denise has started finalising their divorce proceedings.

But this soon pales in comparison when he later arrives at Peggy?s and discovers the aftermath of the crush ? and what he sees leaves him distraught.

Later, Chelsea is worried when she is questioned by the police about her role in the tragic events, and she feels guilty about what her actions have caused.

Just what has unfolded at Peggy?s, and will everyone be okay?
