Has Toyah Battersby pushed Rowan too far ?

Leanne announces that she?s paying for Rose?s funeral out of her savings and outside the undertakers, George places Rose?s coffin in the hearse. Having spotted Rowan watching from Victoria Garden, a furious Toyah Battersby races over and, giving him a shove, orders him to stay away as he?s not welcome.

Meanwhile, Leanne watches with horror. The funeral over, Leanne admits that she hasn?t any savings and Rowan paid for the funeral. How will Toyah react?

Leanne heads off leaving Nick in total despair. Toyah confronts Rowan and tells him that she?s going to do everything she can to expose him for the vile man he really is.

Later, Toyah returns home to find Nick alone and as he apologises for Leanne?s behaviour as Toyah breaks down. Nick takes her in his arms and they kiss passionately, unaware that from the derelict builder?s yard, a man is watching them intently. Later, Leanne meets up with Rowan for an upload session.

Having enjoyed an afternoon of sex, Nick and Toyah agree that it mustn?t happen again and they should stay out of each other?s way as much as possible.

Summer and Felix call at the flat in time to hear Paul playing a derogatory message about Felix on his Eyegaze. As Billy and Todd desperately look for the mute button, Felix heads out and Summer is left mortified.

Bethany returns home from her interview and tells Sarah that she got the job but she?s dreading her first assignment. She then calls at the garage and tells a horrified Abi that she got the job at the magazine but the first article they want her to write is in support of Corey Brent.

In the Rovers, Cassie listens with interest as Steve, Amy and Daniel discuss care package options for Ken and wonder how on earth they?re going to fund them. She offers to be Ken?s carer for a quarter the price of a professional and while Daniel and Amy reckon it?s a good idea, Steve reluctantly agrees.

Chesney and Gemma tell Bernie that the boiler is beyond repair and they?re waiting for the landlord to fit a new one. Later, the landlord calls at No.5 and insists he wants a second opinion on the boiler.

    Wednesday 19th

    Rowan Cunliffe has Toyah cornered

Toyah tells Nick that they?ve little choice but to come clean to Leanne about their brief affair as a smug Rowan Cunliffe is holding a meeting in the Bistro. Rowan corners Toyah and hands her a copy of the NDA, suggesting she signs it. When Toyah makes it clear she won?t be blackmailed and she intends to come clean, Rowan points out that it?ll destroy Leanne but he?ll be happy to pick up the pieces. Will Toyah tell Leanne?

Later, Rowan makes a speech and announces that Leanne has been promoted to level 5 and he couldn?t be more proud of her. As the members clap and Leanne basks in the glory, Nick and Toyah watch in disgust.

Abi tells Kevin that she?s done some digging, Stefan Brent is a board director of the production company that made the documentary, he also owns the magazine and he must have created the deep fake videos out of revenge.

Having reported Stefan to the police, Abi and Kevin watch as DS Swain drags him into an interview room, fervently hoping that their nightmare will soon be over.

Bethany calls at the garage and tells Abi that she?ll quit her job if it?s what she wants, but it could be useful to have someone on the inside to keep tabs on Stefan. Kevin calls on Bethany and tells her that if she really wants to help, she can lend him her security pass to Stefan?s office. She reluctantly hands it over.

Steve makes out to Ken that Cassie?s a qualified carer and they hired her through an agency as she starts work at No.1. But when she reveals that she?s had no training and only stepped in to help out and save the family a bit of cash, Ken?s quietly furious. Realising that he is upset, Cassie sets Ken straight, explaining that she was honest with Steve from the off and never pretended to have any qualifications. Will she win him round?

Having had no luck with the landlord about the new boiler, Chesney tells Gemma that he?ll look into installing an electric shower as they?re far cheaper.

Having seen Felix off at the airport, Summer admits to Paul she was upset to see him go. Later, the occupational therapist calls at the flat and after quizzing Paul about his fall, suggests that it might be time to stop using the stairlift.

    FRIDAY

Amy is convinced there is a spark between Steve McDonald and Cassie

When Cassie arrives for work at No.1, Steve McDonald relishes informing her that her first task is to cut Ken?s toenails. Enjoying Cassie?s company, Ken suggests they go out for a spot of lunch and Amy is amused at how much Cassie gets under her dad?s skin.

Later, Amy suggests to Steve that there?s a spark between him and Cassie and he?s in denial about his attraction to her. Steve firmly denies it and she hides her amusement.

When Abi asks Kevin about him getting up in the night he puts it down to stress but later calls into the salon with a stolen mobile phone and asks Max if he can hack into it. When Tyrone opens an email to find a video of Kevin breaking into Stefan?s office, Kev assures him it is another deep fake video.

When Bethany sees Max with the phone, she realises Kevin stole it and tells him not to drag her family into the situation. When Kevin turns up at Stefan?s office, he says his video footage of Kevin breaking and entering could land him in jail.

Meanwhile, Abi is shocked when she overhears Tyrone telling Craig that Kevin has been the victim of a deep fake video. Later, Kevin returns to No.13 to find Abi and Craig waiting. Will he report Stefan?

Dee Dee informs Gemma that her landlord could be fined for failing to carry out essential repairs to No.5?s boiler if she reported him. Will her advice work? As Joseph is dropped home by his school friend Olly?s posh mum, Chesney?s gutted to realise Joseph has made out he runs a successful catering empire.

Joel confides in Dee-Dee his sadness at keeping their engagement from his parents. Lanter, he spots Sabrina in a state of distress outside the police station and learns that her brother has been arrested. Joel hands her his business card and tells her to give him a call. As Sabrina?s friend joins her, Joel heads inside, pleased to have found a new target.

A police officer visits Toyah to inform her she will face no charges for burying her baby.

Coronation Street's Toyah Battersby is horrified next week as evil Rowan Cunliffe blackmails her.

Toyah is alarmed when she realises that Rowan knows she has betrayed her sister Leanne by giving into temptation with Nick Tilsley.

Next week, an emotional day for Toyah arrives as she attends the funeral of her baby daughter Rose.

Leanne claims that she's paying for the service out of her savings. However, Toyah later finds out that Leanne doesn't have any savings left and Rowan is the one who paid.

Toyah is sickened that Rowan would meddle in something so personal. She warns that she'll do everything she can to expose his corrupt nature, leaving the villain shaken.

Meanwhile, Leanne makes no apologies for her role in the situation. After clashing with her family once again, she heads off for another "upload session" with Rowan.

Nick is left to comfort Toyah and they kiss passionately out in public. They're unaware that a man is secretly watching them from the derelict builder's yard.

Toyah and Nick end up sleeping together back at the flat, but they later agree that it can never happen again and they need to stay out of each other's way from now on.

Later in the week, Rowan confronts Toyah at the Bistro and hands her a Non-Disclosure Agreement on behalf of The Institute.

Rowan suggests that Toyah should sign it if she doesn't want Leanne to find out about her passion with Nick.

Toyah refuses to be blackmailed and vows to come clean herself, but Rowan smugly points out that the truth would destroy Leanne.

Knowing exactly how to rattle Toyah, ruthless Rowan vows to be there to pick up the pieces for Leanne once the news is out. Will Toyah go ahead and tell her sister everything?

Coronation Street airs these scenes on Tuesday, June 18 and Wednesday, June 19.

Coronation Street reintroduces Corey Brent's scheming father Stefan next week.

Former Emmerdale and Hollyoaks star Paul Opacic has reprised his role as Stefan, who'll be causing trouble for Abi and Kevin Webster in a new storyline.

The plot begins when Bethany Platt lands herself a new job with a magazine.

Bethany is pleased to finally have regular journalism work again, but she's upset when her first assignment is to write an article defending Corey.

Aware that this would spark a backlash on the Street, Bethany approaches Abi to let her know. Abi is sickened by this latest attempt to create positive publicity for her son's killer.

Abi investigates the situation and discovers that Stefan owns the magazine. It turns out that he's also a board director of the production company that made the recent documentary about Corey.

With the evidence mounting up, Abi decides that Stefan must have created the recent deep fake videos using her image. She figures out that Stefan may have been taking revenge after she spoke out publicly against the documentary.

Abi reports her suspicions to the police and DS Swain follows up on the theory by bringing Stefan in for questioning.

Bethany informs Abi that she's willing to quit her job in a show of support, but she points out that it could be useful to have someone on the inside to spy on Stefan.

Kevin takes Bethany up on the suggestion, asking her to lend him her security pass for Stefan's offices. Bethany reluctantly hands it over.

Later in the week, Kevin approaches Max Turner for help after stealing Stefan's mobile phone from the office. He asks if Max can hack into the device.

Bethany panics when she finds out that Max has the phone. She urges Kevin not to keep involving her family in his battle against Stefan.

Meanwhile, Kevin's business partner Tyrone Dobbs opens an email containing a mysterious video, which seems to show Kevin breaking into Stefan's office. Kevin lies that it's another deep fake.

Scared of Kevin gathering evidence against him, Stefan reminds him that the incriminating video footage from the office CCTV could land him in jail. Will Kevin be scared off from reporting Stefan?

Coronation Street airs these scenes on Tuesday, June 18, Wednesday, June 19 and Friday, June 21.
