Neighbours schemer Yaz Shields plots the ultimate revenge against her enemy Holly Hoyland next week.

The troublesome character turns evil as she makes a misguided attempt to avenge the death of her brother Heath Royce.

Yaz arrived in town late last year on a mission to find out the real story behind Heath's tragedy in the Outback.

She quickly closed in on Holly, believing that Karl Kennedy's troubled daughter had deliberately caused Heath's demise.

Next week, Yaz returns from a secret trip to the Outback and is frustrated to have gathered no new evidence which could be used against Holly.

Yaz's mood worsens when she finds Holly burning photos of the men who have wronged her ? including Heath ? following a suggestion from her counsellor, Rhonda.

When Heath's ashes are later delivered to her hotel room, it pushes Yaz over the edge as she starts smashing things up in a grief-stricken state.

The final straw comes when Yaz cancels a planned date with her girlfriend Nicolette Stone. Feeling pushed away by Yaz one time too many, Nicolette insists on ending their relationship.

Now totally broken, Yaz is intrigued when her employee Kendall declares that one of the transformers sent over for Erinsborough's upcoming light show is a "death trap".

Yaz slyly hands the transformer over to Holly, asking her to personally use it for the event's 10pm showstopper.

Yaz insists that the duty must specifically be carried out by Holly, aware that she could experience a nasty electric shock that kills her.

Will Holly realise that she's in deadly danger before it's too late?

Neighbours airs these scenes on Thursday, January 16.
