    TV WEEK articles:

    "Stevie goes MIA!
Chaos ensues as the 'All Our Tomorrows' star fails to show up to set

It hasn't even been a week of shooting yet and 'All Our Tomorrows' is thrown into disarray when its leading lady goes missing in action!

Suffering from a serious bout of imposter syndrome, and still reeling from the catastrophic stalker incident, Stevie (Catherine Van-Davies) descends into a binge drinking session and refuses to go to set resulting in Cash (Nicholas Cartwright) being called.

"It's sad to see Stevie unravel and drink her way through her issue," Nicholas, 35, tells TV WEEK. "I think Cash really sees the best in Stevie and it's hard to see her as anything other than a plucky go-getter, but it also humanises her for him.

"Whether or not Cash can get Stevie to set doesn't hold much importance to Cash directly - he's just there to keep her safe."

Back on set, director Nelson (Mahesh Jadu) is furious - this film means everything to him. Confiding in an unusually understanding Alf (Ray Meagher), he explains that Stevie knows how tight the budget is and that they cannot afford any major delays. So why is Stevie throwing their dreams away? Will she make it to set? Or is 'All our Tomorrows' yesterdays news? "

    "Xander Quits
Felicity and Mac's feud forces him to walk away from Salt

The feud between Felicity and Mackenzie reaches boiling point when a failed mediation results in Xander quitting Salt!

Xander (Luke Van Os) calls the meeting so Felicity (Jacqui Purvis) and Mackenzie (Emily Weir) can sort out their problems, as it's creating a toxic workplace. But he's forced to take drastic measures when he's accused of taking sides.

"It hurts Xander and makes him more frustrated because he's not choosing sides - he's trying to be a friend and support both of them," Luke, 27, tells TV WEEK.

"He's constantly stuck between their fighting when all he wants to do is come to work and not have the drama. So when work becomes frustrating and not worth the drama, he quits."

Could this be the wake-up call the two need to finally make amends? "

    And:

    "Justin Heads To Hollywood

As another actor is rushed off set with an emergency, Nelson desperately needs to fill a small role with specific measurements. On the brink of giving up, Nelson notices that Justin (James Stewart) has the perfect build and pleads with him to step in. Justin is apprehensive until his wife, Leah (Ada Nicodemou) gives him a pep talk - and soon, Justin is making his big film debut. How he fares once the cameras start rolling is another thing, however..."

DS article about the 'Xander quits' TV Week story in the previous post:

Home and Away's Xander Delaney to quit amid feud storyline
Mac and Felicity's battle gets too much for Xander.

    https://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/hom...ey-quits-feud/

Home and Away spoilers follow for Australian-paced episodes, which some UK viewers may prefer to avoid.

Home and Away's Xander Delaney will quit his job at Salt in scenes that will air in Australia soon, as the backlash over Mackenzie Booth and Levi Fowler's affair continues to rock Summer Bay.

With Mac and Levi's secret passion having been exposed, the couple are now facing the wrath of their friends and neighbours, who are upset that the pair have been getting passionate behind Levi's wife, Imogen's, back.

One of the people who has been most angry with Mac is her business partner, Felicity Newman, who told Mac "I don't know how you can live with yourself" after she discovered the truth about her and Levi.

According to TV Week, the feud between the pair is set to reach boiling point in upcoming scenes, which will lead to their Salt colleague Xander walking away from his job.

Desperate Xander is struggling to be at Salt as his workplace becomes increasingly toxic. As a result, he calls a mediation meeting between Mac and Felicity in an attempt to help them sort out their problems once and for all.

Unfortunately for Xander, he's soon accused of taking sides and he ends up being forced to take drastic action.

"It hurts Xander and makes him more frustrated because he's not choosing sides - he's trying to be a friend and support both of them," actor Luke Van Os, who plays Xander, said.

"He's constantly stuck between their fighting when all he wants to do is come to work and not have the drama. So when work becomes frustrating and not worth the drama, he quits."

Will Xander's shock exit be a wake-up call for Mac and Felicity, or will they let their animosity get the better of them?

Home and Away airs weekdays at 1.45pm on Channel 5, with repeat screenings at 6pm on 5STAR and first look screenings at 6.30pm on 5STAR. Selected classic episodes are available via Prime Video in the UK.

In Australia, the show airs Mondays to Thursdays at 7pm on Channel 7 and streams on 7Plus.
