EastEnders' Sam Mitchell will reportedly create a stir on her return to Albert Square.

It was confirmed last month that Danniella Westbrook will reappear in Walford with a "big secret".

The Mirror reports that she will make her return at the christening of Heather Trott's (Cheryl Fergison) baby George. In scenes to air this summer, Sam will be seen kissing old friend Minty (Cliff Parisi), leaving Heather devastated.

"Sam certainly creates a stir when she turns up. The question is if she is interested in Minty or is just using him," an insider said.

"Heather is gutted about the kiss because she's liked him for ages. She starts crying and runs away from the church. The christening is in chaos."

The kiss is said to leave the mechanic, who will depart the show later this year, grinning from "ear to ear".

The return of Sam, who is rumoured to be pregnant when she reappears, is thought to tie in with Barbara Windsor's (Peggy Mitchell) exit from the soap.

And it seems things haven't changed for Sam Mitchell, judging by these pictures of Danniella Westbrook shooting her soap comeback.
Sam is seen kissing old friend Minty at the christening of Heather's son George, completely upstaging the baby's big day and leaving the mother in tears. She has long held affections for the car mechanic.

The scenes are just the beginning of Sam's 'explosive' comeback this summer following a six-month absence from the BBC soap.
A source told the Daily Mirror: 'Sam certainly creates a stir when she turns up. The question is if she is interested in Minty or if she is just using him.

Danniella first returned to her role as Sam late last year, 19 years after her debut and nine years after leaving the soap.
Her character Sam was reintroduced after apparently having spent years on the run in Brazil.


Upon her return to Albert Square, Sam quickly struck up a relationship with Ricky Butcher, leading to an engagement, before having an affair with Jack Branning.
Now, Sam is rumoured to have had a baby during her time away from Walford, although the identity of the rumoured father is being kept tightly under wraps.

But there is speculation that Jack could be the daddy - leaving his relationship with Ronnie Mitchell in doubt.
Sam Womack, who plays Ronnie, admitted the return of Sam will definitely cause chaos in Albert Square, and may even ruin Ronnie and Jack's wedding plans.
She said: 'To marry Jack and have his kids is what Ronnie's always wanted. But she's a character who seems destined never to be happy.
'She's a tragic heroine. So, yes, the wedding could all go wrong...'
