    MONDAY

Gabby Thomas has decided it?s high time she had a bit of romance in her life.

The young mum?s last love interest was Jamie Tate (Alex Lincoln), the father of her son, Thomas, and look how that turned out!

It?s no wonder she?s been off men after everything that rotter put her through!

A couple of weeks ago, however, Gabby decided to move on and get back on the horse, dating-wise.

And this time she?s looking for someone who?s going to treat her right!

But in her search for a new man, Gabby hasn?t seen anyone who?s tickled her fancy so to speak and has been swiping left on her dating app.

However, just as she?s thinking of throwing in the towel with the online dating, Gabby?s fancy IS tickled when she spots a handsome guy called ?Chris? on her app?

He seems like a good catch so Gabby arranges to go on a date with him?

What Gabby doesn?t realise though is that ?Chris? is actually Kit (Thoren Ferguson), the guy that her stepmum Laurel Thomas (Charlotte Bellamy) has been dating for a few weeks!

Kit is the physiotherapist who?s been helping Marlon DIngle (Mark Charnock) recover from his stroke and the sexy Scot has been turning heads from the moment he first arrived in the village.

Lydia Dingle (Karen Blick) thought he was a bit of alright when she first saw him and there were scenes of a cringe-making nature when Laurel first clapped eyes on him, too!

Having engineered an encounter with Kit, Laurel bagged herself a date with him and the pair have been seeing each other for a few weeks now.

What she doesn?t know, however, is that Kit has still been setting out his stall on a dating app!

Not only that but he?s attracted the attention of the young woman she brought up as her own daughter!

    This could get very awkward?

    TUESDAY

A couple of months ago, Laurel was all set to get back together with Jai Sharma (Chris Bisson)? but when she accused the former addict of relapsing, the couple got into a massive argument which ultimately led to them splitting for good.

It wasn?t long though before Laurel bagged herself a new man in the form of physiotherapist Kit (Thoren Ferguson), who?s been helping Marlon Dingle (Mark Charnock) to recover from a stroke.

But while Laurel might think that they are exclusive, Kit certainly doesn?t because he?s been busy swiping right and swiping left on a dating app!

Coincidentally, Gabby - who was brought up by Laurel ? has also been doing the dating app thing, but wasn?t having much luck until a guy called ?Chris? caught her eye and she arranged to meet up with him?

?Chris?, it turned out, was actually Kit using a different name for his dating profile!

Somehow Kit hasn?t come under Gabby?s radar though since he first came to the village, so she?s got no idea who he really is or that he?s the guy that Laurel?s been seeing!

Although they only met the day before, Gabby and ?Chris? haven?t wasted any time in getting to know each other because, after ending up at Home Farm, they spent the night together?

Now it?s the morning after the night before and as Kit wakes up in Gabby?s bed, who should come calling but Laurel?!

However, it doesn?t look like today will be the day when Laurel finds out she?s dating a two-timing rat because Gabby, who?s in a flap about having a guy upstairs, quickly rushes her out of the door before Kit comes down the stairs? completely oblivious to the close shave he?s just had!

Later on, Kit?s like the cat who got the cream as she juggles his relationships with Laurel and Gabby.

In fact, he seems to show no remorse whatsoever for his two-timing ways!

He may not be grinning like a Cheshire cat for long, though?

It?s only a matter of time before Laurel finds out what he?s been up to and she?s going to feel sick to the stomach when she discovers he?s slept with her stepdaughter.

And we doubt Gabby?s going to be ****-a-hoop about it either!

So we reckon it won?t be long before it?s ?Game Over? for Kit and Laurel.

And that could be good news for Jai?

After spotting Laurel and Kit kissing and canoodling around the village, it?s clear Jai still holds a torch for his ex and would like nothing better than for them to get back together.

If Laurel dumps Kit, it could pave the way for a reunion with Jai, fingers crossed!

    WEDNESDAY

It?s been a tough few months for Marlon and his fianc?e Rhona Goskirk (Zoe Henry), so they really don?t need any more drama in their lives, especially on the eve of their wedding!

But it seems there?s no letting up for the couple when Marlon finds himself back in hospital on the night before his big day!

Marlon and Rhona?s world was turned upside down in March when he suffered a stroke that left him paralysed and unable to talk.

It happened shortly after Marlon and Rhona had proposed to each other in The Woolpack and he went home to find the ring that he had been keeping for the special moment.

Thanks to the quick-thinking of his daughter April Windsor (Amelia Flanagan), Marlon was rushed to hospital where he was able to get treatment before it was too late.

Since then he?s been on the road to recovery and has been making great progress with the help of his family, friends and physiotherapist Kit (Thoren Ferguson), but he still has some way to go.

After everything they have been through, Marlon and Rhona have decided that there?s no time like the present to get married and their long-awaited wedding day is almost here?

On the night before the nuptials, Marlon enjoys an impromptu stag do?

But the night doesn't end in the way Marlon might have hoped when he tries to get to his feet his legs suddenly buckle and he falls to the ground.

When Paddy Kirk (Dominic Brunt) suggests that he should get checked out at the hospital, Marlon agrees but insists on keeping Rhona out of the loop because he doesn?t want her worry or panic.

At the hospital, Marlon is utterly devastated when the doctor informs him that he will have to stay overnight?

With his wedding less than 24 hours away, will he be discharged in time to tie the knot?

Meanwhile, Kit wishes he could be in two places at the same time as he continues to juggle his relationships with Laurel (Charlotte Bellamy) and Gabby Thomas (Rosie Bentham).

When Laurel suggests that she and Gabby should organise a double date with their new fellas, but what she doesn?t realise is that they are both dating the same guy, Kit!

Kit manages to get out of it but still gets himself into a tangle when he finds himself having dinner with Laurel when he?s expected up at Home Farm to have dinner with Gabby!

After dining with Laurel, Kit has a second dinner with Gabby and he's fit to burst!

That doesn?t dampen his ardour though because he?s soon heading upstairs with Gabby, but as they kiss, who should turn up but Laurel?!

Laurel turned up the other day while Kit was upstairs in Gabby's bed, but left none the wiser?

This time, however, it looks like he's been rumbled?

    THURSDAY

It?s the day that Rhona Goskirk (Zoe Henry) has been waiting for, but as she gets glammed up to marry Marlon Dingle (Mark Charnock) she?s got no idea that her husband-to-be is laid up in hospital?

On the night before their nuptials, Marlon was enjoying an impromptu stag do when he tried to get to his feet and his legs suddenly buckled beneath him, causing him to have a fall.

At the suggestion of best mate Paddy Kirk (Dominic Brunt), Marlon went to hospital to get checked out but was devastated to learn that he would have to stay in hospital overnight.

Now that it?s morning, Marlon?s hoping that he can go home and get ready for the wedding, but he?s gutted to learn that he?s not being discharged just yet because his blood pressure is too high.

Meanwhile, back in the village, Rhona can sense something is wrong when her mum Mary Goskirk (Louise Jameson) and her pal Vanessa Woodfield (Michelle Hardwick) try to delay her from going to the church, but there?s no stopping the bride-to-be?

As everyone waits at the church for the groom to show up, Rhona concludes that something has happened to Marlon but there?s relief all round when the groom bursts through the door with Paddy pushing him in his wheelchair.

Before long the ceremony gets underway and everyone is emotional as Marlon and Rhona exchange their vows and seal the deal with a kiss!

Later, as Paddy gives his best man?s speech, everyone raises their glasses to Marlon and Rhona.

    Congratulations, Mr and Mrs Dingle!

Meanwhile, Priya Sharma (Fiona Wade) has had a tough time coming to terms with the burn scars that she was left with after being caught up in the maze fire caused by serial killer Meena Jutla.

But as everyone enjoys Rhona and Marlon?s wedding reception, a newly-confident Priya reveals her scars for everyone to see when she whips off her jacket to have a boogie.

    FRIDAY

In July, Emmerdale vicar Charles Anderson (Kevin Methurin) tracked down Naomi Walters (Karine Peter), the daughter he never knew he had, but their first encounter was an awkward one?

Last year, Charles learned that as well as his son Ethan (Emile John) he had another child with his ex-wife Esme.

After Ethan was born, Charles cheated on Esme while she was suffering from post natal depression. When she learned that she was pregnant again, Esme chose to keep the pregnancy a secret from Charles as the relationship broke down and Naomi (Karene Peter) was born after the couple split up.

Although Esme gave the baby up for adoption, the mother and daughter were reunited many years later. But when Charles discovered the truth, he decided that he didn?t want to meet her?

However, when Esme called with the news that Naomi had gone missing, Charles was racked with guilt about not meeting his daughter so he decided to go and look for her.

Eventually, Charles found Naomi working in a bar but things quickly went south when he found her arguing with the manager and stepped in to defend her, pushing over her boss in the process.

Naomi was confused about who Charles was until he let slip that he was her dad, which didn?t exactly leave her feeling elated.

In fact, she walked off while her angry boss called the police and Charles ended up in the local nick!

Later, Charles tried to reach out to his daughter, by leaving an emotional voicemail explaining how was eager to get to know her.

Naomi eventually turned up unannounced in the village, but she made it clear that she had no interest in getting to know her dad or her brother and had just come to get some compensation for the fact that she had lost her job because of Charles? altercation with her boss.

After Charles transferred some cash to Naomi?s bank account, she went to leave the village but not before Ethan caught up with her and urged her to give their dad a chance.

Naomi, however, was adamant and took the first bus out of the village?

Since then, Charles has tried to hide his upset after discovering that Ethan has been in touch with Naomi and has been hoping that they can reach some sort of reconciliation at some point.

In tonight?s episode of Emmerdale, the Naomi topic pops up again when Ethan?s boyfriend Marcus is chatting on the phone?

Unaware that Manpreet Sharma (Rebecca Sarker) is in earshot, Marcus accidentally reveals that Ethan is meeting up with Naomi.

Manpreet interrupts Marcus to quiz him about what she's just heard?

When Charles turns up, will Manpreet force Marcus to repeat what she heard?

And if she does, what will Charles do?

Maybe the longed-for reconciliation with his daughter could come sooner than he thought?

I believe Paddy takes him to the church in a wheelchair but then he gets up and walks up to Rhona and takes her hand.
