    Exclamation Inside Soap Awards 2022

    https://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/cor...nominees-icon/

The Inside Soap Awards are inviting fans to name their All-Time Icon as part of this year's voting.

Submissions begin at midday on Tuesday (July 19) at the Inside Soap website, where readers are invited to submit their choice for the best-ever soap character ? and the options are virtually endless!

Will you go with Coronation Street icons like Bet Lynch or Hilda Ogden? Maybe EastEnders' Peggy Mitchell or Dirty Den? Do Kim Tate or Ashley Thomas from Emmerdale have your vote? Perhaps the dearly-departed Hollyoaks legend Luke Morgan or serial killer Silas Blissett top your list? It could be someone else entirely.

The All-Time Icon will be revealed during a live ceremony in London this October, where several other important categories will be unveiled as well.

Some of the biggest names in soaps have been nominated this year, including Paige Sandhu's infamous Emmerdale killer Meena for Best Actress and EastEnders' Danny Dyer for Best Actor ? ahead of his exit from the BBC soap.

Some of this year's most poignant issue-based storylines have also been recognised with nominations, such as Misbah exposing historic sexual abuse in Hollyoaks and Marlon Dingle's stroke in Emmerdale.
