Helpful and handsome, Tex has charmed everyone in Summer Bay. But this week, the newcomer reveals who he really is ? and it's big trouble for Tane.

In Home And Away, new couple Tex (Lucas Linehan) and Rose (Kirsty Marillier) are more loved-up than ever.

But after a workout at the gym, Tex slips into the office and starts rifling through papers and equipment, taking a framed photo of Tane (Ethan Browne), Mia (Anna Samson) and Ari (Rob Kipa-Williams). What's he up to?

Later, we see Tex arrive at an industrial warehouse, where a tough bikie gang greets him ? he's their sergeant-at-arms!

Tex tells them he knows who has the money they're after ? and also that he's dating the local policewoman.

"Rose is a deeply devoted person, trying to do her best," Kirsty tells TV WEEK. "But she may face some heartbreak too."

Tex keeps up his nice-guy fa?ade, but keeps an eye on Chloe (Sam Barrett) and Tane.

When Tane returns to his car, he finds the photo with a note: "Your brother stole our money. We want it back."

Tane panics ? he and Ari took part in an armed robbery, but instead of handing over the stolen cash, used it to buy the gym.

Nikau (Kawakawa Fox-Reo) picks up on his uncle's distress, but Tane dodges his questions and agrees to meet the bikies that night ? alone.

When he does, thugs put a bag over his head and throw him into a van. It looks like the gang is bent on collecting one way or the other!

Home and Away has confirmed that biker gang member Tex Wheeler is making a return appearance on the show.

Lucas Linehan is reprising his role as Tex following the shocking events that took place on the day of Tane Parata and Felicity Newman's wedding.

Late last year, Home and Away's 2022 season finale episode in Australia revisited the biker gang storyline as Cash Newman remained in danger for killing the group's leader Marty in self-defence.

A criminal working for Tex sabotaged the brakes on Felicity's wedding car, believing that her brother Cash would be driving. However, in a last-minute change of plan, Felicity's friend Eden Fowler did the honours instead.

This week's return episodes in Australia saw the sabotage cause a huge crash as Felicity, Eden, Justin Morgan and Leah Patterson found themselves in a collision course on the road.

Felicity, Justin and Leah all made it out relatively unscathed, but Eden's loved ones have been told that she may never regain consciousness.

In the immediate aftermath, Justin found himself being wrongly blamed for the disaster as he'd worked on the wedding car prior to the ceremony.

Cash had come up with the idea of fixing up his late father's old ute as the perfect wedding car for Felicity.

In next week's Australian episodes, a police investigation confirms that the vehicle's brakes were tampered with.

Although Justin is relieved to be in the clear, it's the start of a new chapter of drama for Cash as he comes to the unsettling realisation that someone was trying to kill him.

Knowing exactly who was responsible, Cash pays a visit to Tex in prison to demand answers. Is there any way to guarantee his safety, or is the worst still to come?

Home and Away fans in the UK will see these scenes on Channel 5 in March.

Home and Away has updated fans on Tex Wheeler, hinting that Cash Newman's biker gang ordeal may finally be over for good.

Tex made a return to the show on Australian screens last month, posing a sinister threat once again.

The villain initially appeared in prison-based scenes, but he later managed to escape from jail to exact his revenge against Cash. Tex and the bikies have been holding a grudge against the policeman ever since he shot their leader Marty in self-defence last year.

In his latest scheme, Tex arranged for one of his criminal associates to kidnap Cash and bring him along to the bikies' hideout. Although Tex planned to kill Cash, his plans were thwarted once again when Tane Parata came to Cash's rescue and called the police for back-up.

Before being hauled back off to jail, Tex made more threats against Cash, warning that their feud was far from over.

Fortunately, in Wednesday's episode in Australia (February 8), Rose Delaney promised Cash that there was no need to keep worrying about Tex.

Tex had previously used his secret contacts on the outside to cause trouble for Cash, even putting a hit out against him. However, it seems that all opportunities for Tex to call the shots from behind bars have now been removed.

Rose told Cash: "I heard from a mate on the task force that Tex is in solitary."

When asked if this meant Tex would no longer receive dodgy visitors, Rose replied: "None. And no phone calls either, so I'd say you're in the clear of him and the bikies for good now."

Although Cash was relieved to hear the news, he struggled to be cheerful as he reflected on a difficult time that he's still facing with his on-off love interest Eden Fowler.

Eden has now regained consciousness at the hospital after her involvement in a huge car crash caused by sabotage from the bikie gang.

Sadly, Eden only has limited memories of the events leading up to the crash ? and can't remember ever having feelings for Cash.

Despite now being safe, it seems that Cash has paid a heavy price for his feud with the ruthless criminals.
