    "Falling Apart
Remis's Life Spirals - Has he Given Up?

Just as his life was getting back on track after a near-fatal accident, Remi falls apart yet again when girlfriend Bree breaks up with him and he has another health crisis. Only this time, he has no fight left.

In Home and Away this week, musician Remi (Adam Rowland) is more agitated than usual after his break-up with bree (Juliet Godwin).

Despite assuring her he'd sold the motorbike he was riding when the accident occurred, he was lying. Instead, he'd stashed it at Justin's (James Stewart) house. But Bree found out and told Remi it was over.

With no Bree, best friend Eden (Stephanie Panozzo) steps in to take Remi to his physiotherapy sessions, but finds his impatience and snide remarks difficult to take.

Tired of being told what to do, Remi overreaches and collapses in pain. On the drive home, Eden insists they return to the hospital, but Remi stubbornly isn't having it.

"Remi is in a rough spot," Adam tells TV WEEK. "He can't see the way forward without the love of his life. He also faces an uphill battle with his recovery. [He's under] lots of pressure."

When Eden calls her brother Dr Levi Fowler (Tristan Gorey) for help and gets no answer, in desperation, she phones his wife Imogen (Georgia Blizzard) - unaware he's cheating on her with Mackenzie (Emily Weir)!

When Imogen says she thought Levi was with her the whole time, Eden is suspicious. Will Levi's secret affair finally be exposed? And will Remi fight for his life - and for love? "

    " "I Don't Trust Her"
Stevie Causes a Headache for Eden.

Having a glamorous movie star staying in Cash's house hasn't exactly been easy for his girlfriend Eden.

Since Stevie (Catherine Van-Davies) moved in with Cash (Nicholas Cartwright) to remain safe from whoever's stalking her, Eden has been watching the actress like a hawk - just in case Stevie decides her bodyguard should get a little closer to the body he's guarding.

But when Eden tells her best friend Remi of her fears in a heart-to-heart at the beach, will she accidently set off a chain reaction that keeps her relationship with Cash safe but destroy another?

"Stevie and Cash are the perfect odd couple, but when it comes to matters of the heart, she stumbles upon a 'more compatible' option, shall we say," Catherine tells TV WEEK.

"So much of Stevie's image, career and - thanks to her stalker, life is strictly controlled, she sees the potential for freedom: a chance to be herself with Remi, and not just a 'star'." "

Still hurting from seeing Bree flirt with Levi, can Remi resist Stevie's charms?

    EDIT: The Ds article:

Home and Away reveals possible new love interest for Remi Carter
Could Stevie's charms win over a vulnerable Remi?

    https://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/hom...terest-stevie/

Home and Away spoilers follow for Australian-pace episodes, which some UK viewers may prefer to avoid.

Home and Away is set to tease a new love interest for Remi Carter in upcoming scenes.

Following his ex-girlfriend Bree Cameron's decision to make him jealous by flirting with Levi Fowler at Salt, Remi finds himself charmed by newcomer Stevie Marlow (Catherine Văn-Davies) in scenes which will air next week in Australia.

Famous movie star Stevie had recently arrived in Summer Bay after hiring Cash Newman to be her bodyguard to keep her safe from a stalker.

However Stevie's decision to move in with Cash hasn't gone down well with his girlfriend Eden Fowler, who's concerned about having a celebrity living in such close proximity to her boyfriend.

Worried for the future of her relationship, Eden decides to keep tabs on Stevie's every move as well as confiding her fears in best friend Remi.

However , unbeknownst to Eden, her decision to confide her friend will ultimately keep her relationship with Cash safe - but at the expense of another couple as Stevie later sets her sights on a potential romance with Remi.

Speaking about the possible connection between the pair, Văn-Davies revealed to TV WEEK that she believes Remi is the perfect person to let her step away from her movie star persona.

"Stevie and Cash are the perfect odd couple, but when it comes to matters of the heart, she stumbles on a more compatible option shall we say," the actress explained.

"So much of Stevie's image, career and - thanks to her stalker - life is so strictly controlled, she see's a potential for freedom: a chance to be herself with Remi and not just a star."

Could Stevie's charms win over a vulnerable Remi?

Meanwhile Bree's flirting will cause more than heartache for Remi, with a suspicious Eden questioning if brother is having an affair with the doctor after seeing them together - unaware that Levi is actually secretly involved with Mackenzie Booth.

Home and Away airs weekdays at 1.45pm on Channel 5, with repeat screenings at 6pm on 5STAR and first look screenings at 6.30pm on 5STAR. Selected classic episodes are available via Prime Video in the UK.

Home and Away airs major Lyrik update in latest Australian episodes
    The band are reunited.

    https://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/hom...-lyrik-update/

Home and Away spoilers follow from Australian pace episodes, which some UK viewers may prefer to avoid.

Home and Away has revealed plans to reunite Lyrik after an on-screen break for the band's music careers.

The four-piece group have often taken centre stage on the show in the past couple of years, with storylines focusing on their weekly gigs, surprise fallouts and frequent career dramas.

More recently, fans have seen a change in dynamics as band members Theo Poulos, Kirby Aramoana, Eden Fowler and Remi Carter have taken different directions in life.

The group took a break from performing when Theo wanted to focus on getting his mental health back on track as he worked to give up drugs. The foursome had also been struggling to juggle music with their other job commitments.

This allowed Theo, Kirby, Eden and Remi to be explored more as characters in their own right ? but it seems they'll become a united front again in upcoming episodes.

This week's episodes in Australia have seen Remi lead the fight to revive Lyrik after a surprise financial windfall.

Remi has been given a $5 million trust fund payment from his wealthy grandmother and wants to use the cash to support the band, allowing them to focus on music with enough savings to fall back on.

The key moment came when Remi managed to get Theo back on board, promising that he wouldn't be put under pressure with publicity commitments this time.

Theo had previously struggled with the pressure of being interviewed by journalists, creating some tricky challenges and awkward moments.

Once Theo agreed, Lyrik approached Mackenzie Booth about reclaiming their weekly performance slot at her restaurant, Salt.

With everything falling into place, will it be a triumphant comeback for the band ? or will a spanner be thrown into the works?

Home and Away airs these scenes in early 2025 on Channel 5 in the UK.

Sydney Sunday Telegraph article (subscription only):

"Home and Away star combines two great loves as she returns to theatre roots
How Home And Away star will join the cast of Broadway musical classic Guys and Dolls to show off her singing chops os she treads the boards in Sydney - alongside a special castmate.

A soap star will return to two of her great loves when she takes to the stage in Broadway classic Guys and Dolls - musical theatre, and working with her husband.

In recent years, Angelina Thomson has been on the small screen as Kirby Aramoana on hit Australian soap Home and Away.

Insider can reveal Thomson is returning to her musical theatre roots with her upcoming turn as Miss Adelaide in Opera Australia's new production of Guys and Dolls on Sydney Harbour.

She will appear in the production alongside her husband Lachlan Dearing, who will perform in the musical ensemble on the back of touring with Hamilton.

"I'm absolutely thrilled to play this character, it's really fun that this is my first show back after three years on Home and Away and it's going to be fun to jump back into theatre this way," Thomson said.

"Miss Adelaide is such a funny, funny character - she's big, she's unapologetic, she is proud of how much space she takes up, and I'm really excited to be able to play this role."

The musical, set in 1950s Manhattan, tells a tale of gambling rogues, dazzling showgirls, and unlikely love stories - this time, against the extraordinary backdrop of Sydney Harbour with Handa Opera.

Miss Adelaide is a put-upon New York showgirl with a persistent head cold who has been waiting 14 years for her fiance - the male lead and chronic gambler Nathan - to marry her.

The role was first made famous on both stage and screen by Hollywood legend Vivian Blaine.

"Miss Adelaide offers so much comedic relief in the storyline, so being able to tell her story in that way is going to be something I've not done before," Thomson said.

"I'm really excited to step into her shoes."

Thomson has also previously performed in A Chorus Line, West Side Story, Rent, Carole King musical Beautiful, Thoroughly Modern Millie and Ragtime after studying musical theatre at Griffith University's Queensland Conservatorium.

It was on the set of A Chorus Line that Thomson met her now husband.

Dearing has most recently played the first American Episcopalian bishop Samuel Seabury - the rival to Alexander Hamilton - in the 2024 Australian cast of Hamilton, and was previously in the cast of Hi 5.

"We did A Chorus Line together, we just started off hanging out and chatting, we fell in love with the ocean so we went to the beach and hung out - Angelina is very talented, jot that down," Dearing laughed.

"It was so nice, we went from friends into partners - it's so cool, and literally for the last three years, we've been saying we're so excited to do a show together, and we're back again way sooner than we both really thought we would be."

It is a welcome departure from stints of long distance and opposing schedules while the couple individually pursued their creative dreams.

"Angelina is waking up at 5 or 6am for TV, I'm getting home at 11pm for theatre, so we're very excited to car pool to set instead of trying to fly to each other?s states, the car pooling is something we're very excited about," Dearing said.

"It's just so cool to watch your best friend do their thing and I get to watch it live, which is going to be very cool - side stage, best seat in the house."
"Being together again in a show is the dream," Thomson added.

The pair have enjoyed every part of the shared process, from preparing together for auditions to rehearsing for the show.

The pair went away for a weekend before their auditions to prepare together, with Dearing quipping he was coming for the role of Nathan - Thomson's character's romantic interest.

"It's special because we're best friends - we go surfing together, then we come home and we learn lines, then we play show tunes, then we'll go for a walk on the beach," Thomson said.

"It's thrilling to be able to do a show together again, that's for sure."

Dearing added: "It's also nice that we've been able to reflect on each other's lives and careers for the last three years, and being impressed by what we each do, but it?s going to be very special to do the same thing."

Thomson and Dearing will be joined in a star-studded cast by recording artist and Commonwealth Games medal-winning swimmer Cody Simpson as Sky Masterson, Annie Aitken as Sarah Brown, Bobby Fox as Nathan Detroit, and Hamilton star Jason Arrow as Nicely Nicely Johnson.

Now one of Broadway's defining musicals, Guys and Dolls debuted in New York City in 1950, before continuing on for 1200 performances and winning the Tony Award for Best Musical.

The last time a major production of the musical visited Sydney was 2009.

"Being in the theatre feels like more of a sacred space, it's really ritualistic," Thomson said.

"I'm really excited to be able to do a show that's based in New York City - we went to New York when Lachlan was rehearsing Hamilton over there, and just walking the streets of New York as two little theatre nerds was amazing, and to be a part of this show is going to be awesome."

Thomson said taking to the theatre stage again for Guys and Dolls would mark a change of pace from the small screen for Home and Away, which was another lifelong dream.

"Home and Away was a massive dream for me, I grew up watching the show and it's a dream for a lot of actors in Australia, so it was so exciting," Thomson said.

'Being able to share experiences with a live audience, the adrenaline rush, is really different, but TV and film was also always a massive goal, and being on Home and Away for this long has been a dream come true."

To be part of one of musical theatre's most classic productions is also a significant draw for the couple of self-professed theatre nerds.

"I think what we realise now is everything is really achievable, it's all closer than I think you realise," Thomson said.

"When we went to New York, we've got lots of friends over there now that are on Broadway - you think of it as a fictional land, but seeing a lot of our friends from Australia killing overseas on Broadway and the West End, touring everywhere, makes it all feel more achievable and I think we have this hunch we want to go over there and do that at some point."

And now the DS article, & as there has been no official confirmation as yet, it includes "It isn't clear whether Thomson is leaving the role of Kirby in Home and Away or just taking a break to appear in the theatre production."

Home and Away's Angelina Thomson lands new role away from the soap
    She's back on the boards.

Home and Away star Angelina Thomson is returning to musical theatre in a new production of Guys & Dolls.

Thomson ? who has been playing Kirby Aramoana on the soap since 2022 ? has been announced in the role of Miss Adelaide in the musical, running between March 21 and April 20 at Handa Opera on Sydney Harbour.

Shared on Instagram, a first-look picture of Thomson as Miss Adelaide sees the soap star in a voluminous red dress inspired by the 1950s aesthetics of the popular musical.

Thomson has previously appeared in theatre productions, including West Side Story on Sydney Harbor, Rent and A Chorus Line.

Her role on Guys & Dolls will be extra special for Thomson, who will work alongside her partner Lachlan Dearing.

Dearing, who's also been cast in the musical, commented on the role announcement, writing: "There she is!!! MA GURRLLLLL! So proud!!"

It isn't clear whether Thomson is leaving the role of Kirby in Home and Away or just taking a break to appear in the theatre production.

Other members of the group included Eden Fowler, Remi Carter and new lead singer Theo Poulos, with Theo and Kirby starting a relationship soon after.
