Chas struggles following the news about Faith's illness

Suzy becomes aware that Leyla is acting out of character

MONDAY


When Chas Dingle organised her mum's birthday party she was expecting family drama. But she wasn't expecting Faith to make such a tragic announcement.

And now, in the wake of her mum's bombshell news about her cancer, Chas is in a state.

Despite their difficult past, Chas has been loving having Faith in her life and can't bear the thought of losing her.

So when Faith then tells Chas that she's decided to stop having chemo, Chas' heart breaks.

Knowing that Faith will listen to Cain, Chas reaches out to her brother, who's remained tightlipped about his mum's awful news.

With Cain having made it patently clear that he has no time for Faith, can Chas get him to forgive and forget and help their terrified mum?

Later, Cain's stoic mask drops.

Village doc Liam gets it both barrels from Cain who lashes out, furious that his so-called mate didn't tell him about Faith's illness. As his anger takes over, Cain hurls Liam to the ground!

Elsewhere, Nicola's home from the hospital but is clearly far from recovered from her ordeal, which saw a group of teen girls attack her when she refused to buy them alcohol.

Can Laurel and Bernice find the right words to comfort the terrified mum?

David's money worries continue to dog the shopkeeper.



TUESDAY


Knowing her days are numbered cancer sufferer Faith Dingle wants to make the most of the time she's got left with her loved ones.

But if she carries on with the chemo that makes her feel so, so bad, she feels those precious days are going to be wasted.

Having decided to quit the treatment, Faith's decision has been met with strong opposition from her daughter Chas.

As Faith's mum guilt kicks in, she's swayed into carrying on with her cancer treatment for her daughter's sake. Relieved, Chas fails to notice her mum's distress.

However, Cain soon puts his sister straight. Chas reels as Cain accuses her of forcing their mum's hand.

When Chas confronts Faith about it, will the poorly Dingle mum admit it's true?

Faith's cancer news is eating away at Sarah, too. Sarah's leant on her for support with her own illness over the years and is struggling to accept that Faith's so ill.

At Take A Vow, Leyla's taken aback when her dealer ? whose number she took from duped Jai ? turns up and offers her a deal on some coke.

Before long Leyla's high and being obnoxious. But Suzy knows what's behind the act and has another go at getting Leyla to accept her coke habit has become a full-blown addiction.

Will Leyla listen?



WEDNESDAY


Leyla Cavanagh's in denial that she's addicted to coke and she's about to stoop to her lowest, most desperate point yet?

With her 'new' dealer, Jason, sniffing about, Leyla's drug source has come ever closer and she's loving it.

But Leyla runs into trouble when Jason clocks his former customer Jai and insists Leyla gets Jai back on coke or else he stop supplying?

Aware that Leyla's found a new dealer since she refused to get her any more coke, savvy Suzy's quick to spot the dodgy crim and send him packing.

Leyla is furious.

As her desperation for coke takes hold, she turns on Suzy, insisting she hands over her dealer's number once and for all or she'll tell Moira about her link to her dead daughter Holly!

It's a really low blow and Suzy's disgusted. Will she cave to Leyla's ugly demand?

Elsewhere, Sam panics when Lydia shows him a brochure about fancy caravans. Will he confess that he's bought her a shabby do-er-upper?



THURSDAY


Chas Dingle is really struggling with her mum's cancer diagnosis and when Faith tries to make light of it, the barmaid feels even worse.

Watching on from the sidelines as Chas goes into panic mode, her husband Paddy doesn't know what to do as whatever he says seems to upset her. And that's where Al comes into the picture?

The pair runs into each other on Main Street and an awkward chat turns into an enlightening one.

Chas finds herself feeling grateful for Al's take on Faith's cancer and finds the strength to have a really honest chat with her mum.

Later, Chas and Faith really get down to it and confront the horrible truth that Faith is dying. Chas apologises for pushing her mum into having more chemo and as Faith breaks down in tears, the mum and daughter share a tender hug.

Chas is relieved to have reached calmer waters? but Paddy's about to spoil everything.

She's furious with her husband and storms off when he comes home with some info on hospice care.

Once again it's Al who provides a listening ear for Chas who's fizzing with rage.

Before long they've opened a bottle of wine and as a deep and meaningful starts up, things get pretty intense.

When Chas eventually makes to leave she ends up snogging Al!

If Chas wants a distraction, this is certainly it, isn't it?

Not only is she married but Al is her family's No.1 enemy and is the boyfriend of feisty Kerry Wyatt who already hates the Dingles for what Noah did to Chloe.

Will the pair leave it there or is a full-blown affair about to start up?

For Suzy it's crunch time. With Leyla's threat ? to tell Moira about her link to Holly ?hanging in the air Suzy must decide whether she's going to hand over her dealer's number and enable her addict-in-denial friend.

Scared by the consequences of the truth about Holly getting out, Suzy hands over the number ? and tells Leyla they're done.

Leyla barely hesitates as she picks up the phone to get her fix.


Leyla's doctor husband Liam has noticed something is up with his wife. His first theory was PTSD and now he reckons she's pregnant!

Later, at home, her doctor husband comes up with another theory about her behaviour. Having moved on from post-traumatic stress idea, he now reckons his wife is pregnant?

At the scrapyard, Lydia comes up with a plan to stop Sam from getting rid of the clapped-out caravan he's bought her?




FRIDAY


Though David Metcalfe wants to marry his girlfriend Victoria, hiding his money problems from her isn't a good start. If only he would talk?

But shopkeeper David is mortified that he's struggling to keep the shop open and the family fed. The pandemic has all but ruined his business which he may soon have to close.

At the shop, as Victoria happily gabbles on about this and that, David keeps schtum and continues to internalise the pressure he's under.

How much longer can he keep up the act before he snaps with stress?

Elsewhere, Chas reflects on her illicit encounter with Al.

But will she tell Paddy what happened, chalking it up to a moment of madness sparked by Faith's cancer diagnosis?

Will she tell Al that it will never happen again? Or will she decide to sabotage her marriage and start up a steamy affair with Al, her family's No.1 enemy?
