MONDAY


Stacey Slater tries not to let mum Jean Slater worry about the injury she has that was caused after an altercation between the pair. But she's also hopeful that Jean's renewed interest in her welfare may mean she's on the road to recovery.

Jean has been home with Stacey after only spending a short while in hospital following her recent breakdown. Stacey may be trying to keep positive but when Kat realises that Stacey has ended up badly hurt due to Jean, she wonders whether Jean would be better off in hospital after all.

When Stacey later bumps into Kheerat Panesar it's clear she's not feeling too well and she admits what Jean did to her. All of a sudden, Stacey crumples to the ground and Kheerat is horrified!

Alcoholic Linda Carter is constantly on the verge of falling off the wagon and as she heads out to get wine, she's intercepted by Rainie Highway. Given a few words to make her think twice, Linda instead decides to put all her attention into planning the Jubilee celebrations.

Janine Butcher is less than impressed to see Linda in the Vic with a whiteboard but Mick is pleased and reveals he has a special surprise for the day.

Meanwhile, Karen exits the meeting halfway through, upset at the thought that her murdered daughter Chantelle Atkins won't be with her for the celebrations.

Mick Carter comforts Karen and they agree to honour their missing loved ones, including Mick's auntie Tina Carter.

Linda is on top of the world after the successful meeting and she wants to get her hand back in at the pub. But when Mick turns down her offer to expand the pub's business with her bribe money, she's left deflated.

Things seem to be looking up when Linda overhears Denise Fox and Kim Fox talking about needing an investor for the salon and her mind starts whirring.

Rainie Highway is unimpressed with Ben Mitchell for his apparent betrayal of her brother-in-law Callum Highway. But after having a go at him, it's clear Rainie has bigger things on her mind.

Hubby Stuart Highway is still struggling to bond with baby Roland and Rainie takes Stuart and Roland out for a picnic.

Roland's surrogate mum Bernie Taylor watches on, in a contemplative mood. Sonia Fowler sees her looking wistfully at the baby and she gives her a few words of advice.

Also, Callum Highway and Lola Pearce go for a drink to share their respective romantic woes.



TUESDAY


Jada Lennox is miserable when Denise Fox and Kim Fox tell her it's likely she's going to lose her job at the salon. They are majorly short of cash and without a big time investment it seems they're going to close.

A sympathetic Zack Hudson tries to cheer her up and they bond after discussing their respective childhoods. Although Zack's girlfriend Nancy Carter has asked him to pick up the keys for their new business venture, a kindly Zack ditches his plans for the day to take Jada up town.

The pair spend a nice day doing some sight seeing. But when they get home Nancy is fuming with Zack for failing to do the one job he was asked to do - pick up the keys!


With Nancy laying into Zack, Jada is fuming that she's being so nasty and she does her best to comfort him. She does a little TOO much comforting, however, when she leans in for a kiss!

Zack, of course is alarmed and quickly dodges her. Poor Jada is left mortified by his rejection. When Sharon Watts gets back to the house, Jada lashes out to explain her bad mood, lying to Sharon that Zack tried to kiss HER!

Stacey Slater is in hospital after her collapse and is diagnosed with sepsis. Kheerat is terrified that her life is at risk and he explains to the doctor what happened to cause Stacey's injury.

After Martin Fowler turns up at the hospital, he and Kheerat are relieved to learn that Stacey is going to be okay. Kheerat asks Stacey if they can be an official couple. All SEEMS to be going well, until Stacey finds out that Kheerat ratted on Jean to the doctor.

Now the mental health nurse has gone to see Jean to give her an assessment. When the nurse arrives, Jean gets upset and locks herself in the bathroom.

Against advice, Stacey discharges herself from hospital to rush home and check on her mum...

Mitch Baker is worried about Rainie Highway's struggles to look after baby Roland. With Stuart Highway unable to step up and help out, it's been a huge weight to bear.

After Mitch checks in on Rainie, surrogate Bernie Taylor finds her and reveals she's started the process of having Roland's parental order signed.

How will Rainie feel about officially becoming Roland's mother at long last?

Also, Kim Fox and Denise Fox are shocked when Linda Carter offers them ?50k to buy into the salon!


WEDNESDAY


Nancy Carter heads to the business unit she's renting to open her new venture with Zack Hudson. But when she turns up with sister Frankie Lewis she gets some shocking news...

The owner meets them there and reveals that he was told the letting had fallen through!

Meanwhile, Linda Carter reassures Denise Fox and Jack Branning that she's serious about her ?50k investment in the salon. The contract signed they shake hands on Linda now being co-owner of the salon.

As Linda celebrates with the family, Nancy gets another huge shock after a phone call from the estate agents. They reveal that they never received a ?50k 'deposit' that she supposedly put down on the let.

It's not long before Linda works out that Janine has played her and, in fact, given the money that Nancy had for the restaurant straight to her as a bribe! Linda confronts Janine and threatens to tell Nancy the truth.

How will Janine get out of this one?

Sharon Watts is left stunned after Jada Lennox's claim that Zack Hudson tried to kiss her!

In fact, Jada was the one who got herself confused and tried to kiss a horrified Zack. She was so mortified when he rejected her, that she tried to cover up her feelings by lying to Sharon about what happened.

After hearing Jada's claim, Sharon kicks a stunned Zack out of the house. Will Sharon find out that he's not to blame?

Stacey Slater is still fuming that Kheerat Panesar went behind her back to tell the doctor that Jean Slater is unstable. All talk of them being an official couple now seems to be in tatters!

Martin Fowler tries to make his ex see that Kheerat was only doing what he thought was best for her and the family.

Will Stacey see sense and forgive Kheerat for breaking her trust?

Also, Suki Panesar is surprised when daughter Ash Panesar returns home.



THURSDAY


Linda Carter and Mick Carter are bubbling over with excitement on the day of the Platinum Jubilee celebrations.

As well as all sorts of things planned for the party in the Square, they've arranged for some very special visitors...

Royal fan Linda is over the moon that Their Royal Highnesses the Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall will be visiting Walford and are planning to drop by the Square!

Mick and Linda are in awe as their guests arrive and they introduce the Royal couple to the stunned crowd, as everyone raises a glass to Her Majesty The Queen.

Linda Carter doesn't just have a Royal occasion on her mind, as she knows there's going to be big trouble over the money Janine Butcher swindled out of her daughter Nancy Carter to give to her.

Having handed over the whole ?50k to Denise Fox to buy into the salon, her only chance is to get it back.

Sharon Watts overhears Linda talking to Denise and she forces her to confess everything. Linda is conflicted when Sharon insists that the only way forward is to tell Nancy the truth.

It's clear that Janine isn't going to get out of this latest twisted scam so easily, as Sharon is furious with her! She goes on the hunt for her to make Janine pay for what she's done...

In The Prince Albert, Mick Carter arranged with owner Kathy Beale a special celebration to mark his much-missed aunt Tina Carter.

After Mick shares a few words with the punters, the talent show kicks off, including a star turn from Whitney Dean as pop princess Britney Spears!

Kathy Beale is feeling distracted, as her son Ben Mitchell's recent troubles are playing on her mind. She finds Ben's brother Jay Mitchell and has a word with him about the situation.

Rocky is upset that the judges he arranged for the competition seem to be a no show. Not only that, Sonia Fowler has also refused to come along, even though in part the Prince Albert show was for her.

Kathy realises how disappointed Rocky is not to see Sonia and she tries to persuade her to come over and help Rocky celebrate.
