Exclamation Norma, The Undertaker (Glynis Barber)

    https://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/hol...-barber-debut/

Hollyoaks' latest episode (April 28) has revealed its first glimpse of Glynis Barber as Norma ? aka The Undertaker ? as Sienna and Ste were forced to come clean to Ethan.

The episode began with an anonymous text message sending Ste and Sienna into a fit of worry as they were led to suspect Ethan might have been onto them all along, plotting their downfall.

But when they arranged for a meeting with the sender, they were in for a jaw-dropping ? literally in Sienna's case ? surprise, as Warren Fox stepped out of the taxi instead.

"How dare you meddle in my business?" Sienna went off in a fit of anger.

But Warren also had a lot to say about her latest side-hustle.

"This is wrong Sienna, and you're completely out of your depth," he burst out. "Anyone who steals meds from an ambulance is completely up the creek without a paddle."

Soon, a fed-up Warren gave Sienna an ultimatum, attempting to make her see what she stood to lose with her latest illegal activities.

"You do this, I'm going for sole custody of the twins," he warned her.

However, the ex-gangster wasn't done. Experienced in the ways of the "underworld", he was quick to also accuse the mother of his children of not only pushing her luck, but enjoying the process.

To prove his point he even suggested lending her the money to sort out her mess, but Sienna hit back by threatening to reveal their affair.

Unfortunately, down on their luck Ste and Sienna were soon forced to come clean to Ethan, who unsurprisingly was already well-informed of their ill-advised actions.

And he had a surprise of his own.

Taking out three urns with each of their names branded on them from a plastic bag, he revealed that The Undertaker was coming to town ? and she had her sights set on them.

In the last moments of the episode, Hollyoaks gave its first glimpse of Norma as her blonde hair fell off from her bowler hat and she ominously took off her gloves while she arranged photos of the trio in front of her.

Will the trio survive her arrival?

Hollyoaks now streams first on All 4, with new episodes dropping each weekday morning. The show airs Mondays to Fridays at 6.30pm on Channel 4, and at 7pm on E4. Selected omnibus episodes are available via Amazon Prime Video.

What?s it been like joining Hollyoaks as new villain Norma? - You?ve been filming for quite a while now, haven?t you?

It doesn?t feel that long! Probably about two months. Norma is still dipping her toes into things, so it?s not full-on yet. She appears and then disappears and then comes back. I think it will be more full-on very soon.

What can you tell us about your Norma?

I have to say, Norma is a really great character to play. I absolutely love this part. She is a complete and utter gangster! [laughs]. Gangster with a capital G. It?s really interesting actually, because a woman of my age? this [role] would normally be a man.

A few people who I?ve been acting opposite of have gone: ?Wow, this is so great that this is a woman playing this part!

She really is a very intimidating and dangerous character. Full-on dangerous. She threatens a lot, and there isn?t a threat that she won?t carry out. She would carry through with anything, there?s nothing she wouldn?t do.

So, she?s capable of murder then?

Yes. She?s quite a sinister character.
