    MONDAY 11th

After Martin takes Jean home to Sharon Watts', she gushes about her night, revealing she spent most of her time having fun with a group of guys on a stag do!

Despite being up all night, Jean is still full of beans and she rummages through guest Linda Carter's suitcase, admiring some of her outfits.

Jean's daughter Stacey Slater arrives and tells Jean she's got her a doctor's appointment for Friday. This doesn't go down well with Jean, who storms out.

Meanwhile, Harvey Monroe is stewing over his break up with Jean but is shocked when son Aaron Monroe's nasty thug of an associate Neil Hughes gets into his cab. Neil tells Harvey that he has something he wants him to do and he makes it clear Harvey won't like the consequences if he refuses.

Jean interrupts their stand off, wanting to clear things up with Harvey. But shaken by Neil's threats, Harvey fobs her off and insists that it's over between them.

When Jean sees the groom from the stag party getting married, she's delighted. Having had quite enough of Jean's company, he makes sure she catches the bride's bouquet as a way to get rid of her.

This suddenly gives Jean a surprising idea...

She finds Harvey and asks him to marry her!

Nancy Carter stays the night with Zack Hudson but it means a VERY awkward encounter the next day, as Linda Carter is staying at Sharon's.

Although Linda tries to talk to her daughter, Nancy makes it clear that her recent boozy behaviour has pushed her too far.

When Nancy later finds a bottle of booze stashed in Linda's case, but tucked next to a photograph of the Carter family in happier times, she consumed by an attack of the guilts.

Feeling bad for abandoning her alcoholic mum she finds Linda and tries to make peace. Will Linda accept?

Ben Mitchell is rattled when Callum Highway casually tells him that he's been asked to be the face of an LGBT+ campaign at work.

He's clearly still on edge over the homophobic attack that left Callum in a bad way. But Kathy Beale's new bar manager at the Albert congratulates Callum and enthuses about the idea. It puts Ben on the back foot and he's forced to put on a brave face.

Callum, however, knows his husband and can tell that Ben isn't best pleased about the idea.

Later, Ben is alarmed when he hears a loud noise at the club, as memories are stirred about Callum's attack.

Also, Stuart Highway is due to go in for surgery and confesses to wife Rainie Highway how worried he is that he may get addicted to painkillers again.

    TUESDAY

Ben Mitchell is increasingly concerned about Callum Highway advertising the fact he's gay by fronting the LGBT+ campaign at work, He takes it upon himself to talk to Callum's work and tell them that he doesn't want to go ahead with it.

When Callum finds out what Ben has done he is fuming that he went behind his back. Although Ben won't back down over what he's done he's finally pushed to admit that he's terrified Callum will be attacked again.

Later, new bar manager Lewis suggests that Ben come out with him clubbing. As they're about to set off, however, they are heckled by a group slinging homophobic insults.

Ben can't believe it when Lewis makes it clear he's not going to let it get to him and shrugs off the comments.

As Ben's anger over the comments grows, he follows the group, clearly wanting to have it out with them.

Fortunately for Ben, Kim Fox interrupts whatever he was intending to do, telling him Kathy's asked him to head to the Albert to help her out.

Harvey Monroe is feeling edgy after being threatened by Neil Hughes. After something happens in the Square, his daughter Dana Monroe realises he's not quite himself and asks him what's going on.

But Harvey isn't the only one hiding secrets and Rocky Cotton has worked out that there's something Dana isn't saying. She makes a confession to Rocky but makes him promise not to tell her dad.

Meanwhile, Jean Slater is in her own little fluffy world of excitement after proposing to Harvey. She shares her big news with Shirley Carter but admits Harvey has told her he's thinking about it.

Shirley is angry for her friend and she confronts Harvey, asking him why he's leaving Jean hanging. What will Harvey say to Jean?

Stuart Highway is out of surgery after his cancer operation. Still terrified of getting addicted to painkillers, he tells wife Rainie Highway and nan Vi Highway that he's in no pain at all.

Wary of Stuart's claims, VI is convinced he's hiding how he's feeling when Stuart reaches out to hold his son Roland Highway and it's clear he's struggling.

Also, Karen Taylor thinks Bernie Taylor should rest when she reveals Vinny Panesar has suggested she work for him again.

    WEDNESDAY

Ben Mitchell's anger starts to rise when he sees the guy, Steve, who was hurling homophobic abuse at him and Lewis the night before.

On a mission, he grabs Steve and drags him into the alley by the gym. Soon Ben is laying into Steve in a fury of punches. He only stops when Sharon Watts sees what's going on and intervenes.

When Callum Highway arrives wanting to know what happened to the bloodied and beaten man in the alleyway, Sharon covers for Ben. She claims that she found him unconscious.

Horrified by what Ben has done, Sharon confronts him. She tells him that he can't go around beating people up. But will she tell Callum the truth?

Nancy Carter accuses Jean Slater of being a thief

Jean Slater furiously denies taking Linda Carter's pink scarf when Nancy Carter spots her wearing one suspiciously identical to the one that's gone missing.

Puzzled by Jean's behaviour, Nancy tells Stacey Slater that Jean nicked something from her mum. A very worried Stacey is more determined than ever to get Jean to see the doctor and have her meds checked.

Knowing that Jean is point blank refusing to listen to her, she enlists Harvey Monroe's help.

Seeing that Stacey is talking sense, Harvey tricks Jean into agreeing, saying that if she goes to just the one appointment then it will get Stacey off their backs.

Bernie Taylor has been struggling in the wake of having to give up baby Roland to parents Rainie and Stuart Highway. She's relieved to be back at work with Vinny Panesar as it will take her mind off things.

When she walks in, she's happy to see her old friend Molly but there's a shock in store. She finds out that the Panesars have changed the staff's contracts.

Fuming that they are being done over on the new terms, she leads a walkout with the other employees and poor Vinny is horrified! What will Suki Panesar say?

    THURSDAY

Sharon Watts is deeply troubled after catching Ben Mitchell brutally beating on a man for his homophobic comments.

Worried that Ben is in no state to run any of dad Phil Mitchell's businesses, she approaches Phil's girlfriend Kat Slater, and asks her to make sure Ben keeps away.

When Kat is dismissive of Sharon's claim that Ben's too fragile to deal with the businesses, Sharon realises she only has one other option. She visits Phil in prison to tell him what she saw.

Knowing that the only way to save Ben from going down a destructive path is to have his dad around, she pleads with Phil to reconsider Keeble's offer to grass in exchange for a get out of jail card.

But Phil has always stood firm that he's not that man and refused to take up Keeble's offer. Will Sharon be able to get him to change his mind?

Vinny Panesar realises he's in BIG trouble with Bernie Taylor leading a walkout of staff over the new contract situation. He desperately encourages them to go back in and get to work and he almost gets through to Bernie.

When Bernie spots Rainie Highway with baby Roland Highway, her heart breaks all over again at giving him up and it only hardens her resolve to continue the stand off with Vinny.

Desperate, Vinny asks Dotty Cotton to do something before his mum Suki Panesar finds out.

Dotty threatens to fire Bernie, but that only riles her even more. She then goes off to get some paperwork that 'proves' the contract changes are legal.

    Will Dotty talk Bernie round?

It's the anniversary of the much-missed Kush Kazemi's death and his ex-lover and good friend Kat Slater and Martin Fowler get together to remember the good times.

Stacey Slater, however, is distracted as she's more concerned about making sure her mum Jean Slater gets to her doctor's appointment to discuss her mental health.

After Harvey Monroe's intervention, Jean at least makes it to the doctor's appointment, despite being adamant that she's completely fine.

With the doctor attempting to go through how she's been feeling recently and how she's doing with her meds, will Jean gets the help she so clearly needs

Also, Rocky Cotton cheekily asks Kathy Beale for a date as recompense when he retrieves her stolen handbag from a thief!
