Monday 4th April


When Vanessa Woodfield returned to the village, she was determined not to get back with Charity Dingle.

Though Charity's head was in a mess over the vet, which caused problems for her relationship with Mack, Vanessa fought their chemistry, adamant she wasn't going back there again.

It hasn't been easy but after a bit of a messy journey, after Mack got really jealous, things are now all tickety-boo. Charity and Mack are loved up and happy, and Charity and Vanessa have resolved to be best buds.


And now it looks as if the single mum might have her eye on somebody new?

Vanessa's in the Woolie having a drink when a gorgeous woman strolls in and immediately clocks the vet, remembering that Vanessa almost ran her over last week!

Bob and Matty watch on knowingly as the pair start flirting like mad.

Some spiky banter results in Suzy joining Vanessa for a drink but will it lead to more?

Nate's also supping at the village pub drinking away the afternoon. He's getting plastered with Ryan in a bid to forget how lonely and rubbish he's feeling without Tracy and their daughter Frankie in his life.

Moira spots him and makes a few comments which don't go down well with Nate. But Nate doesn't want to hear it and disappears off into town with Ryan?

At Home Farm, everyone's getting ready for Thomas Tate's upcoming christening.

His proud mum Gabby's organised the whole affair and his gran Kim's footing the bill.

Kim's given something extra to smile about when she learns her long-lost granddaughter Millie is going to come along.

Meena's trial is looming and Manpreet just has to call it.

She's been wavering about testifying against her serial killer sister and has been buckling under the stress of it all.

Knowing her side of the story could make a real difference to the case, Manpreet digs deep and, accepting Ethan's offer of help, decides she's going to go for it.

In prison, the news reaches Meena who's all revved up ahead of her big moment in the spotlight. She's planning to give the performance of a lifetime - and to ruin Manpreet?


Tuesday


Nate Robinson's desperately missing Tracy and their daughter Frankie.

But when he cheated on his fiancee and the truth came out, he lost them both. Tracy's moved away with their daughter and Nate is lost without them.

Spending way too much time and money in the Woolie, the farmer ends up having a few with Chloe who's lots younger than Nate.

Is Nate about to make another women-related mistake to add to the long list of others he's already made? What will Chloe's mother-figure Kerry say if he takes advantage of her?

Up at Home Farm, Kim Tate is spitting feathers.

Having been told that Millie was going to come along to Thomas' christening, Kim has been told by the girl's other granny Hazel she won't be coming after all.

Kim's devastated and not entirely convinced Hazel is telling the truth about their granddaughter being ill.

Determined to have Millie there, Kim resolves to get Gabby to postpone the event? How's that going to go down with the feisty young mum?

Meanwhile, Gabby is still going all out to get everything sorted for her son's first big moment and asks her half-brother Arthur if he'll be Thomas' godfather.

Elsewhere, Manpreet's rattled when she finds out that Wendy has been called as a witness for the defence in Meena's trial. What's Meena planning to say and how is Wendy involved?

As the GP braces herself for interrogation in court, lawyer Ethan helps her prepare and tries to calm her nerves.



Wednesday

At Tall Trees, it's the morning-after-the-night-before for Nate Robinson and Chloe Harris.

But while 19-year-old Chloe's keen to continue the evening's cosy intimate vibe, 30-something Nate's demeanor has completely changed. He doesn't want Chloe hanging about at his and he clearly doesn't want to repeat what's just happened.

Embarrassed that things went as far as they did, Nate ejects Chloe from his place, dodging her attempts to spend more time together.

What will feisty Kerry say if she finds out that Nate has slept with teenage Chloe, who the beautician loves as if she were her own?

As Chloe walks home she bumps into Noah who's still desperate for another chance with her. But Chloe turns down his offer of a drink which doesn't go down well with the angry teenage Dingle?

Elsewhere, Home Farm has become a battleground as Kim has decided they must change the date of Thomas' christening so her beloved long-lost granddaughter Millie can attend.

It's been months since Kim saw Millie who she doted on when they all lived together at Home Farm.

But Millie was taken to live with her other granny, Hazel, when her mum Andrea died in the maize maize fire last October (at the hands of serial killer Meena).

With Millie's dad, Kim's son Jamie, having already allegedly perished in a watery car crash, it seemed to be the right thing to do.

After Jamie's water plunge, Kim refused to believe her son was dead. His body was never recovered. The not-knowing sent her round the twist. But it turned out the mother's instincts were right ? Jamie didn't drown that day as Millie was due to discover.


The 'orphaned' little girl had a huge surprise waiting for her on arrival at Granny Hazel's: her daddy Jamie, who was very, very much alive!

Kim still has no idea that Jamie's faked his death, of course. And nor has anyone else in the village.

When Gabby gave birth to his son Thomas in November and Jamie failed to appear, Kim finally accepted he really was dead.

Is Kim set to learn she's been deceived?

As row about the christening rumbles on, single mum Gabby hasn't got much bargaining room as Kim is footing the bill. Before long, Will and Lydia are dragged into the argument.

Eventually, Gabby backs down and agrees to postpone? for a day. The young mum then decides to arrange an extra surprise for Kim?

What's Gabby up to?

Thursday

At Home Farm it's baby Thomas' christening day and his mum Gabby is about to get a huge shock.

Is she about to find out Thomas' dad Jamie didn't drown in his watery car crash last year?

So far no one in Emmerdale knows that Jamie didn't die when his car plunged into a lake leaving Gabby high and dry as she hoped they going to elope.

When the police pulled Jamie's car from the lake there was no sign of the vet and further searches drew a blank. When they closed the case, Kim went into a crazed downward spiral convinced that her son was still alive.

Is she about to find out she was right all along? Is Jamie going to show up at his son's christening even though he vowed never to set foot in his mum's house again?

Belle's all fired up over a new idea and Al's impressed.

With Al having proved he's not to be trusted time and time again, will Belle remember to keep her ex's dad at arm's length? If Al gets involved with Belle, Cain and Chas will flip!

Elsewhere, Nate makes his feelings known when Chloe starts asking about jobs at Butlers.

As the 19-year-old tries to flirt with the single dad farmer, who she recently slept with, Nate doesn't mince his words when Nate shuts down any hint of anything ever happening again.

As humiliated and hurt Chloe heads home she runs in to her ex Noah who's still madly into her.

Though Chloe's moved on and has been blanking the Dingle lately, she's touched when Noah tries to cheer her up. The thaw between them gives sly Noah food for thought? What's he up to now?



Friday


In prison, Meena Jutla has been working on her prison guard, and her efforts to charm him seem to be paying off!

With her trial just around the corner, master manipulator Meena needs all the help she can get as she prepares to fight the list of crimes that stand to see her kept behind bars for the foreseeable.

So when Prison Officer Beeker breaks the rules by slipping Meena a choccy bar and, later on, a newspaper she's thrilled to see her flirty comments have done the trick.


Enjoying the power she's gained over the taken-in guard, Meena's given another ego boost as she looks at the paper as she's made front-page news.

As Meena basks in the sick glory of it all, the serial killer braces herself for her upcoming performance in the courtroom and prepares to do battle with her sister Manpreet.

Is the poor prison officer set to become collateral damage in Meena's latest sick plan?

Elsewhere, following events at yesterday's christening, shocked Gabby has teamed up with Dawn. As the pair set out together, they're soon sent reeling by a shock discovery?
