Albert Square's residents remain in shock, with the residents struggling to process everything that has happened with Gray.
Kat and Stacey discuss the situation, but they're rocked by some more devastating news.
Denise, Patrick and Kim are also in shock, while Karen and Mitch are struggling too. Keegan tries his best to help his family, but he feels guilty that he wasn't able to protect Chantelle.
Meanwhile, Lola confronts a guilty Ben for failing to make his usual payment for Lexi. Ben tells Kat that she needs to sign a package and stash it for Phil. Although Kat is reluctant, Ben insists that this is her problem now.
Elsewhere, Tommy tries to stop the bullies from stealing Billy's cash box. Billy gets the wrong idea and assumes that Tommy was the one stealing it. Kat is furious as Tommy comes under suspicion again.

Mitch decides that Mack and Mia need to know the truth about their dad. However, telling the kids proves difficult for Karen and she rushes out. As Mitch also struggles, Keegan steps in.
Mitch starts to feel that he didn't do enough to protect Chantelle. He deals with this by lashing out at Karen, claiming that she should have spotted the signs with Gray. Karen is devastated and kicks Mitch out.
Meanwhile, Kat initially refuses to accept the package for Phil, but when she visits him in prison, he urges her to reconsider as this will affect his safety in prison. Kat finally accepts the package, but is shocked by what she finds inside.
Elsewhere, Lily worries about the bullies mistreating Tommy. Things get worse when she makes a concerning discovery.

With Mitch trying to find a new place to stay, Bailey urges Keegan to help fix the growing problems in their family. However, Keegan is dealing with troubles of his own, wondering how Kheerat figured out the truth about Chantelle when he didn't.
Vinny and Kat try to reassure Keegan, but it's not enough. Keegan soon gets into a big argument with Karen about everything. Vinny then delivers some worrying news to Mitch and Karen.
Meanwhile, Tommy starts to wonder whether Jean is the mystery money thief. He questions Jean, but she becomes defensive.
Tommy asks Billy whether he can be his apprentice, insisting that he didn't steal the money. Billy agrees, but Kat interprets Tommy's behaviour as more proof that he stole the money. Kat puts further pressure on Tommy to tell the truth and also becomes suspicious that Lily may have been involved.

As Keegan struggles to hold things together, Tiffany returns. Will she be able to get through to him?
Meanwhile, Janine takes Mick away from the Square to give him time to reflect.
Elsewhere, Stuart returns home to a frosty reception from Rainie. He insists that he's feeling great and the cancer has shrunk, but Rainie isn't convinced.
Sonia verifies to Rainie that the pills Stuart is taking wouldn't help him. Rainie and Callum try again to get through to Stuart, asking for a second opinion.
