......but the day soon turn's from happiness to absolute terror

Vinny plans the ultimate romantic Valentines Day for Liv

Monday

A huge moment arrives for loved-up Dawn Taylor and Billy Fletcher who are in church in their wedding finery to get hitched!

There's barely a dry eye in the house after Dawn's proud dad Will escorts his daughter up the aisle and the emotional couple exchange their vows.


But as the guests sip on their fizz, time ticks on and there's no sign of Mr and Mrs Fletcher?

Has serial killer Meena, who's recently been watching from the shadows, pounced on the pair?


Following his furious blow out which pushed his terrified son Kyle to flee, ashamed Cain is in disgrace.

But as Moira tries to encourage her husband to face up to his mistake and visit Kyle who's at his mum Amy's, Cain grabs a bottle of whisky, blocks the door, and returns to his armchair, brooding and boozing.

As Cain's sister Chas becomes embroiled in Cain's gloom, Moira's worried that Cain's in danger of doing serious damage to himself.

Meanwhile, at the Hide, Liv's freaked out when a bunch of teens ask for a selfie, alleging she's famous because she was accused of murder.

It's a horrible moment for Liv who went through the wringer in prison doing time for a heinous crime she didn't commit.

Thankfully, a furious Laurel comes to Liv's rescue and turfs them out!

Meanwhile, unaware that Liv's having a nightmare at work, Vinny gets to work on a romantic surprise for his valentine... but will it end in disaster?

Tuesday

While their wedding guests are milling around at Home Farm wondering where Dawn and Billy have got to, the newlyweds are being held at gunpoint by Meena Jutla!

A terrifying scene unfolds at a remote viaduct where the serial killer has taken the pair and is planning to get the ultimate revenge.

Billy's horrified as menacing Meena insists he chooses who takes a bullet ? him or his new wife. If Billy can't choose, Meena vows to shoot them both!


As the couple panic and argue over who takes the hit, Billy overrules everything and says there's no question. He's doing it not least because Dawn has her little boy Lucas to take care of.

As Meena points the gun and fires, who's taken a bullet?

Meanwhile, back at Home Farm, as the wedding guests realise Meena has returned, terror unfolds further leaving more than one life hanging by a thread.

At Mill, Liv's grateful when Vinny pulls out all the stops and gives her a valentine's day to remember.

As the couple hang out, Liv's ordeal with the teenagers in the Hide fades into the background... but Liv's content doesn't last for long.

When Vinny whips out a present in a tiny box, excited Liv thinks he's proposing and is mortified when she realises her mistake?

Meanwhile over at Butlers, Chas takes charge in a bid to get through to her brooding brother Cain who's barricaded himself in the lounge.

As Chas climbs through the window and pulls out a bottle, will her tactic work?

Can she coax out Cain and get him to address what happened with his son Kyle?


Wednesday

In the wake of Meena Jutla's rampage on Billy and Dawn's dramatic wedding day ? during which shots were fired and lives left hanging in the balance ? Emmerdale is a village in shock.

Can those affected ever recover from the trauma the serial killer has inflicted?

And has Meena's killing spree finally come to an end? Has she been killed herself? Caught? Taken her own life?


As the villagers take stock, they wonder if they'll ever get over the horror of what Meena has done all this time under their very noses.

Back at Butler's, Chas has climbed in through the window and is trying to get through to her brother Cain.


Will her lecture work? Can she get Cain to open up and address what happened during his angry outburst witnessed by his terrified son, Kyle?

Will the devoted Dingle dad ever get his son back under his roof and resume co-parenting with Kyle's mum Amy?


Over at Mill, Liv's reeling in shame having jumped to the conclusion that Vinny was about to propose to her. She's absolutely mortified by her mistake and legs it back to work at the Hide.

As Vinny reflects on his romantic surprise, which has gone spectacularly wrong, will he find a way to get their romance happily back on track?


Thursday


Emmerdale's Meena Jutla is the talk of the town in Thursday's two episodes

In the wake of Dawn and Billy's wedding day horror story, the village is in lockdown.

The police are back to investigate yet another nightmare inflicted on the locals by Meena Jutla who, this time, was brandishing a gun.


The serial killer is the talk of the village among the locals who are stunned by what happened when Meena Jutla set out to take more lives.


For Meena's sister, Manpreet ? who narrowly escaped death at the hands of her serial killer sibling last month ? the situation takes on a whole new dimension leaving the GP utterly shell-shocked over what has happened.

Is it safe to walk the streets yet? Have the wounded survived?

Elsewhere, as Emmerdale's epic valentine's day continues, at Butler's Chas makes progress with her brother Cain as the pair reminisce about happier times.

A test of Amy's mettle is about to hit and as the mum navigates the situation, her own mum Kerry is left proud as punch as she watches on and listens to Amy talking to her little son Kyle.

Plus, emotion is running high for Vinny. Are he and Liv back on track? Can devoted mum Mandy find the words to help her lad?



Friday

A new day has finally dawned in Emmerdale bringing a close to the horror of Valentine's Day which saw serial killer Meena Jutla unleash a revenge attack on newlyweds, Dawn and Billy, with life-threatening repercussions.

The pair found themselves being held at gunpoint on their wedding day, sending the village into a spin.


Gun-toting serial killer Meena set out to make them pay.

But as the villagers take stock of what Meena Jutla did and those affected reflect, recoup and reel over the horror of the lives she's taken and the pain the evil nurse inflicted, they need a guiding hand.

The job falls to village vicar Charles Anderson who's on a mission to remind everyone to try to stay positive even in their darkest hours.

Will his message be well-received by everyone? or is it a bit too soon after what Meena has put everyone through?

Why such a horrible Valentine's storyline? Is this really what people want to watch? Don't think I'll bother watching the worst of this violence.

"Billy thinks Leyla is dead or she's dying. Leyla also thinks she's dying. She calls out for them to tell Jacob and Liam that she loves them, but very luckily, the bullet has gone in and then taken a turn, so it actually hit Leyla's shoulder.

"She does go into surgery but given where the bullet enters, she's very lucky that it's as minor as it could be. She's just lucky to be alive, basically. They don't know what it is until they get her into surgery."

"Leyla loves revenge! I would love for Leyla to take revenge on Meena. I think it would be a brilliant showdown. She would like to, for sure."

So looks like Meena escapes again.
