    TV Week articles:

    "Message from Above
    Nell's new obsession worries Toadie

When Melanie dresses up as a fortune teller for the Flamingo Bar's Christmas Party, Toadie's young daughter Nell asked to connect with her late mother Sonya.

Put on the spot, Mel panicked, telling her that Sonya liked her dress. Ever since, Nell has been obsessed with Mel's crystal ball.

Toadie brushes it off as just a phase, but realises it's more than that when Nell refuses to take off the dress.

Toadie hides the ball, but it's not long before Nell discovers his hiding place. As the pair reach up to get it, it falls and shatters everywhere, leaving her devastated.

Feeling responsible for Nell's grief, Mel takes her aside for an honest conversation about life and death. Toadie believed Nell thought the ball was her mum, but after their conversation, he realises she always knew it wasn't really her mum, but rather, another way to be close to her.

Toadie and Melanie, sensing Nell craves a connection, take her to Sonya's memory tree. There, she is reminded that her mum is always with her and she puts to rest her obsession with the crystal ball and her dress."

    And:

    "Lovers again?
There's still a spark for Chloe and Nicolette.

Nicolette and Chloe have a complicated relationship. After their engagement ended suddenly and an upset Nicolette fled Erinsborough with baby Isla, it seemed their love affair had ended.

But now Nicolette is back in town, Chloe is keen to repair things. She's holding out hope that rebuilding their friendship will lead to them being in a relationship again, but she doesn't want to rush her.

While Chloe is hopeful, Nicolette is reluctant to take things further after everything they've been through. Nic is tired of harbouring feelings of hurt about Chloe - it's exhausting.

The pair quickly fall back into the groove of their friendship as they spend time together. But for Nic, it makes matters all the more confusing.

Nic will always have feelings for Chloe but she's confused and wonders if giving it one last try might clarify how she feels.

When Nicolette suddenly kisses her, Chloe is surprised, but thrilled. She's excited by the idea that Nic might feel the same way about her and want to be together again.

But sadly for Chloe, the kiss puts things in perspective for new mum, Nicolette. There's just too much water under the bridge. Isla is Nic's number one focus now.

It's a devastating blow for Chloe, who's upset that Nicolette led her on. She had really hoped they would be able to work things out.

With desire simmering below the surface, will Nicolette come around or is this the end for the former lovers?"

Chloe is given fresh hope of a romantic reunion.

    EDIT: And:

"Paul and Terese ... and Glen.

Although they're still in the midst of their break up, Paul is desperate to win back Terese.

At the police ball, Paul begs Terese for a dance. As they sway together, it all becomes too much for her and she turns to alcohol to numb the pain.

When Paul's half brother Glen finds her, she's drunk and upset, rambling about getting back with Paul. Will Terese get through this?"

Harlow unwittingly gives Amy the impression Mick has spilled her secret, and Amy's had enough: it's time to out Mick.

Meanwhile, not wanting to upset the expectant Nell, who has asked her to speak to Sonya from beyond the grave, Melanie tells her Sonya loves her dress. Nell's delighted, but Mel is scared Toadie will be furious when he learns about it.

Elsewhere, Paul's disappointed to see Terese still isn't wearing her wedding ring. He confronts her, only to find out she lost it at the conference. While initially he fears this is a bad omen, he eventually realises there's a way to turn this to his advantage, but it's another faux pas and backfires on him terribly.

Paul is thrilled Terese has accepted his new ring, but when Glen learns of this, he's horrified. He tries to reason with Terese, sure she knows better than to fall for Paul's manipulations.

Later, when Paul learns Glen may have been involved in Terese's decision, he's deeply wounded.

Meanwhile, Chloe offers Nicolette a spare ticket to a concert in the city. Despite it being awkward at first, things begin to thaw. Now feeling more comfortable around each other, they finally clear the air. Is this the start of Chloe and Nic finding their way back to what they once had?

Leo and David try to talk Paul into having a proper conversation with his brother about his resentment before doing anything rash. But will Paul listen?

Meanwhile, when Hendrix and Mackenzie return from their trip, they learn about Kyle's diagnosis. Hendrix feels terrible he hasn't been there for Kyle and works hard to be another pillar of support.

Elsewhere, Nicolette and Chloe have re-established their friendship and things are looking up. It seems like romance might be in the air for these former lovers, but Nicolette is conflicted, unsure if she wants to go there again.

UK airdate: Thursday 02 December 2021 at 13:00 and 18:00 on Channel 5

Australian airdate: Tuesday 30 November 2021 at 18:30 on 10 Peach

Chloe is taken aback by Nicolette's bold kiss, thrilled that things look hopeful for a relationship.

The two go out for a walk to discuss what it meant in private, but Chloe's shocked by what Nicolette wants.

Meanwhile, Hendrix gets a chance to redeem himself when Kyle asks a favour: he'd like Hendrix and Mackenzie to buy Roxy a dress to wear to the Police Ball. Hendrix happily obliges, but later regrets his decision to make a saucy pasta for dinner.

Elsewhere, Melanie and Toadie are suffering the effects of Nell asking to speak with Sonya through the crystal ball. Nell's obsession with her dress and ball shows no sign of abating. Mel wants to try speaking to Nell alone, but Toadie is afraid she'll make things worse, not realising he's about to do that himself.

Australian airdate: Wednesday 01 December 2021 at 18:30 on 10 Peach

Toadie fails to console Nell after the broken crystal ball, and Melanie is pained to see him so emotionally wretched.

Melanie finally convinces Toadie to let her help, and by engaging Nell in a more mature conversation, she finally gets through to her. Toadie is grateful to Mel and the two draw a little closer.

Meanwhile, Ned is worried Levi's colleagues will upset Amy further at the Police Ball. He urges both Levi and Amy to call off their plans, but to no avail. Levi thinks Ned's only suggesting this because he wants Amy all for himself. Is Levi right?

Elsewhere, Mackenzie is unnerved by Harlow's seeming lack of compassion for Kyle and Roxy's situation, and furthermore when Harlow seems negative and demanding. Mackenzie's worried and concerned: what has happened to her best friend?
