The rumours of Babyshambles' demise have been proved false by their surprise appearance at Stoke's Underground venue last night.
It was the band's first appearance since they called off their entire UK tour last month and failed to turn out at the Big Gay Out festival in Finsbury Park. It had been rumoured that Pete Doherty was refusing to play with the rest of the band.
NME.com reports that at just £2 per ticket the performance went down a storm with those present.
Babyshambles' single F**k Forever is due for release on August 15.
