Dennis arrives back in the square arm in arm with a stunning and familiar brunette, none other than Coronation Street star Tracey. This sensational storyline was drafted once Corrie bosses agreed to give man-hunter Tracey a four week break so she could go and help the ailing EastEnders soap. Script writer April First is delighted. "Tracey is a great actress and having her join us on loan is simply fantastic. The storyline with Dennis, Sharon and Zoe was running a little stale, but with Tracey on the scene its sure to heat things up."
Rumours are also circulating of other Corrie stars being loaned to EastEnders. So far producers Granada have refused to comment, but it's widely expected that two other stars will also join the show. An EastEnders insider informed us "the producers thought it would be a massive ratings hit. Next time, maybe we can lend out our stars to Corrie."
