These are the Digital Spy extended spoilers for next week in the UK (ie UK 10-14 Aug and Aust 20-24 July)

UK airdate: Monday 10 August 2020 at 13:45 and 17:30 on Channel 5

Australian airdate: Monday 20 July at 18:30 on 10 Peach

Harlow and Mackenzie prepare for their big environmental project presentation, but first it's Richie's turn. He has kept his presentation topic secret and the class is not amused when it turns out he wants them to sort through the school's garbage in order to demonstrate how poorly they handle their own waste.

As Harlow and Hendrix dig in, they uncover a distinctive blue bag that matches the ones Harlow found in the drag stash at his party. They're even more shocked when they discover a secret stash of actual drugs taped to the inside of a rubbish bin. Someone is dealing drugs at Erinsborough High.

Meanwhile, Bea manages to stop Kyle and Levi's clash from degenerating into a fistfight, but it's clear Levi is still hurt and angry. When it becomes clear Levi will not be quick to forgive, Sheila is resigned to waiting, aware that she has hurt him with her actions and the distance she has placed between them over the years.

Support comes from a surprising quarter, however. Roxy offers Sheila understanding and empathy, and a grateful Sheila undertakes to keep their personal issues out of the workplace in future, resulting in a tentative thaw between the two women.

Elsewhere, aware Kyle is flattened, Roxy determines to cheer him up by having Ned take some saucy boudoir photographs. The shoot goes well until Paul blunders in, copping an eyeful of Roxy. Roxy and Ned are hugely amused by Paul's consequent embarrassment, and when Roxy gives the photos to Kyle, he's very appreciative of his fun-loving girlfriend.

After the discovery of a drug stash at the school, the police come in to search the place. Ollie takes a stand, not wanting his locker searched, which provokes Yashvi's suspicions.

After searching the school, instead of heading straight back to the police station, Yashvi sees Ollie outside Harold's and confronts him. She searches his bag, finding a roll of gaffer tape identical to the type used to affix the drugs inside the bin at the school. Has Yashvi cracked the case?

Meanwhile, it's the day of Harlow and Mackenzie's sustainability assignment and their presentation is a huge success. Inflated by the win, Harlow and Mackenzie are inspired to implement their strategies at Lassiters for real.

Despite praising their presentation, when it comes to spending money on making over the hotel, Paul shoots them down. Angry at his attitude, Harlow and Mackenzie decide they aren't taking no for an answer. The eco warriors are going into battle.

Elsewhere, days after their first meeting, Chloe is surprised to bump into Nicolette, who is still in town. Smitten by Chloe, Nicolette puts her heart on her sleeve and asks Chloe on a date, moments before Pierce arrives. Nicolette is mortified to find that Chloe is married and beats a hasty retreat, but not before Paul recognises her as Jane's daughter.

Paul asks Chloe why Nicolette is in town. All Chloe knows is that she was called by Dr Kennedy, who had news about her mum. Worried that Jane could be unwell, Paul confronts Karl, wanting to know the full story. Is Jane's secret about to come out?

UK airdate: Wednesday 12 August 2020 at 13:45 and 17:30 on Channel 5

Australian airdate: Wednesday 22 July at 18:30 on 10 Peach

Nicolette is stunned that her mother Jane is on her way to Erinsborough. When Jane arrives, she doubts Nicolette will want to see her, revealing the cause of their most recent disagreement to Paul, Terese, Karl and Susan. When Nicolette visited the newlyweds in WA some months back, Nicolette brazenly suggested that Jane and Des had foolishly rushed into their marriage. Jane kicked her out of the house and it was from there that she and Des started to unravel.

Susan checks in with Nicolette, encouraging her to give Jane a chance, but Nicolette is cynical at the idea her mother wants to make amends. Still, she agrees to meet Jane. Tensions rise quickly, with Nicolette convinced she was right about Jane's 'marriage' and Jane blaming Nicolette for speaking so harshly to Des.

Things get worse when Nicolette brings up Jane's hurtful reaction to her coming out and Jane accuses her daughter of sabotaging her marriage over her grudge. It doesn't look like a reunion is on the cards for these two.

Meanwhile, despite his reservations, David has agreed to Aaron's idea of having Brent stay with them and is pleasantly surprised when the first visit seems to be going well. As the fun afternoon continues, David is called into work and Aaron is left to supervise the brothers. However, during an unsupervised moment, Brent suggests to Emmett they climb onto the roof.

Knowing he shouldn't, Em is goaded into it by Brent. When they try and get down, Em gets stuck and panics. Aaron catches them and yells at Emmett to get down. Em is startled, misses his footing and tumbles from the roof, hitting the ground with a sickening thud.

UK airdate: Thursday 13 August 2020 at 13:45 and 17:30 on Channel 5

Australian airdate: Thursday 23 July at 18:30 on 10 Peach

Nicolette is debating talking to her mum when she and Chloe hear Emmett's piercing scream. They rush to help as Aaron and Brent call an ambulance after Emmett's fall. David is shocked when Emmett is rolled into the hospital with a possible spinal injury. Aaron and David are furious at Brent, who quickly removes himself from the crossfire, inwardly tortured with guilt.

Harlow finds Brent upset and offers some gentle support. At this rare show of kindness, Brent opens up to Harlow, desperate to see his brother well again.

Aaron and David are unsure if they still want Brent staying with them after this incident. While they knew fostering would come with its ups and downs, they debate whether Brent really does deserve a chance to redeem himself. When they find Brent at Em's bedside, can Aaron and David really tear the brothers apart?

Meanwhile, Jane soon realises how sad her life has become when she overhears Bea on the phone to Elly, telling her what a hot mess Jane is. She comes clean to Paul and Terese, sad and guilty that she has never been the best parent she could be to her children, but now determined to set things right.

Chloe thanks Nicolette for helping Emmett and offers to listen to Nicolette's tale about her mother. Quietly smitten, Nicolette takes Chloe up on the offer. Could this be the start of a new friendship?

Elsewhere, with Chloe's morning sickness getting worse, Pierce goes to Paul and Terese, certain they will be fine about her having time off and admits he has been playing Paul ever since he found out Paul knew about the pregnancy.

Not appreciating the manipulation, Paul gets his own back by revealing he knew about the pregnancy before Pierce. Shocked, Pierce goes to Chloe and asks ? if Paul hadn't found out, was she ever going to tell him about the baby?

UK airdate: Friday 14 August 2020 at 13:45 and 17:30 on Channel 5

Australian airdate: Friday 24 July at 18:30 on 10 Peach

Pierce is hurt by how little his opinion seems to matter to Chloe regarding her pregnancy, while Chloe is frustrated that he's not more understanding, given the complicating factor of her Huntington's.

When they discover Fay is going downhill in Adelaide, things fall back into perspective. Pierce apologises for his reaction and Chloe admits she regrets hurting him too.

Meanwhile, Jane finds out Nicolette visited Ramsay Street and is left hopeful her daughter may still be open to resolving things. She gets Clive to offer Nicolette some work at the hospital so she won't go back to Canberra. Unfortunately, Nicolette realises Jane is behind the offer and is annoyed. It's another step backward for Jane and her daughter.

Elsewhere, feeling guilty about Levi staying at the hotel, Sheila tries to convince Clive to let her move in with him and give Levi the run of her house. At the same time, Levi is bleeding money, so Bea offers that he might be able to stay with the Kennedys, just as Susan nervously prepares for a visit from the Education Department regarding the drug crisis at the school.

Already on thin ice with the board, Susan's anxiety mounts when her anti-drug measures prove a flop. The day only gets worse when Bea's request to have Levi move in with them brings Sheila's wrath down upon Susan. Then a series of drug-themed pranks at the school tip her over the edge. She can't handle it. Just as Karl and Jane arrive to check how she's coping, she locks herself in her office, melting down.
