Paul warned them. If it happened it would be mostly thanks to the doofus Aaron.

I don?t know, I?m not getting that vibe. I thought at the beginning that Nicolette was doing this to wiggle her way into the family, being obsessed with Chloe. But I think she?s just realising how much she wants to mother this baby and is very protective over it.

    Digital Spy article:

Neighbours' Nicolette Stone replaced by Leo Tanaka in opening titles following latest twist
Has she really left for good?

Neighbours spoilers follow from Australian episodes, which some UK viewers may prefer to avoid.

Neighbours has replaced Nicolette Stone with Leo Tanaka in the opening titles on Australian screens, following the show's latest twist.

After Nicolette (Charlotte Chimes) suddenly disappeared at the end of Wednesday's episode, today (July 22) revealed Nicolette had no intention of returning to Ramsay Street. Reflecting this new development, the altered opening titles see Leo (Tim Kano) with Chloe Brennan (April Rose Pengilly).

However, suspiciously there's been no confirmation that Nicolette has left permanently, so viewers will have to keep tuning in to see if she makes a return...

10 Peach viewers have seen Nicolette completely oblivious to her fianc?e Chloe's doubts about their relationship. Although Chloe says she's in love with Nicolette, she secretly worries that they're moving too fast.

Not helping matters is Leo, who has feelings for his ex and has been attempting to drive a wedge between the couple.

Nicolette is also carrying David Tanaka and Aaron Brennan's baby, and is now just a couple of weeks from the due date.

Yesterday, Chloe confessed to Nicolette that she might have slept with Leo and came clean about her relationship concerns. Nicolette was further devastated after learning David and Aaron knew Chloe's feelings and covered for her.

Feeling betrayed, Nicolette accused David and Aaron of hypocrisy over their lies and only caring about the baby.

But what pushed Nicolette over the edge was a conversation with Paul Robinson (Stefan Dennis), who refused to show any sympathy for Nicolette. Paul insisted to Nicolette that David and Aaron never trusted her and that she would never be considered part of the family.

Chloe finally learned she and Leo didn't sleep together, but then found Nicolette had already fled town.

Thursday's episode saw David, Aaron, Chloe, and Jane Harris (Annie Jones) trying to locate Nicolette. Levi reached out to Nicolette and in an off-screen phone conversation learned that Nicolette had no plans to come back.

David particularly struggled to keep it together, eventually punching his brother Leo in the face when Leo revealed he hired Chloe at the vineyard to keep an eye on Nicolette and blamed him for picking Nicolette as the surrogate.

Star Tim Kano previously teased to Digital Spy that his addition to the opening titles doubled up as a plot device.

"It's really interesting what they've done," he said earlier this month. "The writers have really thought about this storyline and how to play it out. The opening titles are part of the story, I guess."

UK fans will see these scenes in four weeks' time on Channel 5.

Neighbours airs weekdays at 1.45pm and 5.30pm on Channel 5 (UK) and weekdays at 6.30pm on 10 Peach (Australia).

The kid will show up when she?s 16 or something. Isn?t that how it usually goes?

They had been casting for the baby. So she either must come back or hand the baby over.
