    Wink ee scedule move

    No schedule move for 'EastEnders'
    Tuesday, March 29 2005, 12:07 BST -- by Kris Green



    EastEnders will not be making a schedule move, despite rumours last week that it could be shifted to a new time slot in a bid to boost ratings.

    An EastEnders spokeswoman told DS: "Contrary to recent press reports EastEnders will not be changing its time slot."

    The show will continue to air four nights a week.

    The only way it will boost ratings is to stop axing popular characters who DO and HAVE boosted the ratings.
