The Neighbours get a new family

The Neighbours get a new family
Watch out for a heap of new faces on Ramsay Street in the coming months.

With David, Liljana and Serena Bishop leaving Erinsborough later in the year, it seems the Neighbours' producers are keen to bring in some new blood.

So, get set for the introduction of the Kinski family.

They'll be headed by single father Alex (Andrew Clarke), who will enjoy a romance with a female resident.

He'll be joined by daughter Rachel (Caitlin Stacey) and son Zeke (Matthew Werkmeister).

Also, at long last, fans will be getting a chance to meet Kim Timmins, husband of Janelle and father of her four unruly children.

He's been mentioned plenty of times since the clan first appeared, but as yet, all we know about him is he's unreliable and unpleasant.

Kim will be played by Brett Swain, real-life partner of Marcella Russo, who's better known as the aforementioned Liljana.

Sharp-eyed viewers with long memories may recognise him - he also portrayed the duck hunter who killed Kerry Bishop in 1990.

Both the Kinski family and Kim will make their first appearances in autumn this year in Australia, and a few months later in the UK.
