    Scott and Zoe battle over baby Jean
    Airing Sunday, 24th July 2005 at 19:00 on ITV1

    Viv is disgusted as she watches Zoe plead her innocence in court and is horrified further when Zoe later threatens that after the trial she and Scott will never see Jean again. Scott intends to run away with his daughter but will Zoe discover his plans in time?

    Over at the Dingles’, Zak is concerned when Sam admits that he doesn’t want to go home to Alice. Zak tells his son that he is welcome to stay with them, but worries that there is something that Sam isn’t telling him. What could Sam be hiding?

    Elsewhere, the stress of waiting for acceptance of her relationship from the bishop is proving too much for Laurel. Ashley questions his fiancée about her feelings towards him but will she confess the truth?

    Alice shocks Sam
    Airing Monday, 25th July 2005 at 19:00 on ITV1

    Alice turns up out of the blue and announces that she and Sam are expecting a baby. Nervous at his family’s reaction, Sam hides and is upset when he overhears Shadrach badmouthing his abilities as a father-to-be. Zak eventually finds Sam and tries to convince him that he’s more than capable of being a good parent. Will the reluctant Dingle take Zak’s advice on board?

    Elsewhere, Scott succeeds in winding up Zoe and an argument ensues when she claims that Scott raped her. Scott points out that she has breached her bail conditions and takes delight in ringing the police. Zoe is later horrified when the police arrive on her doorstep.

    Meanwhile, Bob has a date with an astrologer after joining a video dating agency but it turns out she doesn’t want to date a Capricorn!

    Alice is upset that Sam appears to be uninterested in having their baby and decides to head back to Norfolk alone. A few harsh words from Cain finally encourage Sam to see sense and he runs after her. Later the couple return all smiles, announcing that they plan to marry and live in Emmerdale.

    Over at the farm, Robert is annoyed to see that Katie has written to Andy and storms out in a rage. He later apologises to Andy but it is clear that he has something up his sleeve.

    Elsewhere, Zoe is surprised and delighted when her solicitor calls to tell her that there is a witness to Scott threatening her. Callum later returns home and when he sees Zoe and Jean together he is certain that he has done the right thing by lying for Zoe in court.

    Meanwhile, Bob goes on another date, but as Viv watches them like a hawk, he is paranoid that Avril will walk out on him.

    Robert spikes Andy's drink
    Airing Wednesday, 27th July 2005 at 19:00 on ITV1

    Having been paid by Jimmy, Robert spikes Andy’s drink in the pub and when he later heads home in his car he is stunned to be pulled over and breathalysed by the police. The reading is high but he narrowly escapes being over the limit. Andy realises someone has reported him but feels confused knowing he only had one pint in the pub.

    Over at the Dingles’, Lisa returns from a trip to her Granny Clegg’s and is stunned to hear that Alice and Sam are expecting a baby. Initially Lisa can’t help but worry about their immaturity but Alice puts her mind at rest, assuring her they have everything under control.

    Meanwhile, Avril and Bob are getting on like a house on fire, much to Viv’s disgust. It becomes clear that there is no love lost between Bob’s former wife and his new love interest. Is this war?

    Cain and Jimmy attack Andy
    Airing Thursday, 28th July 2005 at 19:00 on ITV1

    Andy tells Jack that he thinks the Kings were responsible for spiking his drinks the previous night. The angry father confronts Jimmy in the pub but the arrogant King denies any involvement.

    Jimmy, Cain and Robert get together and decide it?s time to get heavy with Andy. They agree that if his barn were to go up in flames he wouldn?t get a penny if it was made to look like an insurance job, therefore forcing him to sell the land.

    That evening, they turn up at the farm with arson in mind. Andy?s Alsatian dog barks which alerts his attention and he goes to investigate. Cain attacks Andy as Jimmy sets light to the barn and Robert looks on with horror as his brother is brutally beaten to the ground.

    Daz arrives and fearing for Andy?s life he grabs a pitch fork and lunges it into Jimmy. As Cain and Robert drag bleeding Jimmy out of the barn, Andy falls unconscious with the fire blazing around him. Could this be the end for the young farmer?

    Max stitches a wounded Jimmy
    Airing Friday, 29th July 2005 at 19:00 on ITV1

    Jack is furious to learn that Jimmy and Cain are responsible for the fire and he heads over to the Kings’ to get to the bottom of the matter.

    Tom tells Jack to look in his own backyard and points out the feud between Robert and Andy. Jack goes to his car to find that Robert has disappeared. Will Jack take this as confirmation of his involvement with the fire?

    Meanwhile, Jimmy is in a critical condition having been stabbed by Daz. But unwilling to get the police involved, the Kings bully a reluctant Max to stitch him up on the vet’s table.

    Elsewhere, Cain wakes a worried Sam and insists that he must be his alibi if anyone calls. Will Sam lie for his brother?

    Kill Jimmy off, he is just a bully boy who picks on smaller or weaker people. Someone like him needs a good kicking

    I don't think that this is the best way to deal with bullies!

    However, in this case Daz was acting to save his brother, what a hero. When is Debbie going to realise what a gem that boy is!

    You will find all bullies are just coward's, give then some of their own treatment, and they soon back down. I was not a bully at school, but I was not picked on, due to the fact I could look after myself. But I did give the school bully a good beating one day, boy did they change their ways. Wanted to be everyones friend after that.
